24/01/2025: Italian above / English below -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- Trattoria Anna is truly an underrated restaurant in the center of Turin. It's easy to miss, as it's on a back street, but it truly is a hidden gem. I ordered the scampi as a starter, then the spaghetti with seafood. Both very tasty while retaining the freshness of the fish. The space itself isn't that big (I was sitting on the ground floor and didn't see how many tables were upstairs) which lends itself to a cozy atmosphere. The service was wonderful. The waitress who served me was very attentive and kind, and when (with my usual usta (translation from Ferrarese, "grace" 😅) I managed to throw a mussel directly onto my light jeans, she immediately brought me some degreaser to make sure the stain didn't stick. I highly recommend this place if you visit the center of Turin! -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- This is truly an underrated restaurant in downtown Turin. It's easy to miss since it is tucked away in a secondary street, but it is absolutely a hidden treasure. 26/01/2025: Three stars for the environment: it is a little dated but gives a characteristic look. The tables were very close together, the room was poorly ventilated and dimly lit. Simple and good cuisine.

09/02/2025: It is a small and delightful, well-kept trattoria. The raw materials are local and of high quality, the combination of flavors in the dishes is well thought out, a small wine list but from excellent local producers. You can see that in the kitchen there is someone who has taste, beyond a few small, forgivable mistakes in the details (we are not in a starred restaurant, it is a restaurant after all). The service is friendly and attentive, the place welcoming, the quality/price ratio excellent. Really worth a trip to Monferrato.

26/01/2025: I chose this pizzeria by chance. In the area they were all closed due to the long bridge. Positive experience. Delicious pan pizza with genuine ingredients and well leavened. Crispy farinata and cooked just right. Compliments! I will definitely be back soon.

03/01/2025: Lo abbiamo scoperto la prima sera dei tre giorni che eravamo in visita a Torino. Piacevole scoperta, tanto più che la sera successiva non abbiamo cercato altro e siamo tornati lì. Piatti abbondanti e veramente gustosi. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Da consigliare

30/09/2024: Ho pranzato con mia moglie in questo bel ristorante che con un’ottima location fronte lago prometteva davvero bene. Intrigati dal proposta sul menu di risotto con filetti di pesce persico, abbiamo entrambi preso questo piatto. E’ stato un errore ( e con il conto lo abbiamo anche pagato caruccio). Non si trattava di un risotto ma di riso ( solo bollito) guarnito di 4 ( quattro !!!) filettini di persico. In piu’ lo chef, probabilmente per mimettizare la semplice cottura in acqua bollente del riso ( no mantecatura, no soffritto, no vino bianco …) ha pensato di aggiungervi burro e , tanto, aglio! Sinceramente non abbiamo dato al locale una seconda chance e dopo il riso, solo un caffe e via! Unico sincero apprezzamento la gentilezza e la cortesia della signora che ci ha servito.

15/10/2024: I had lunch on Sunday and tasted several dishes based on porcini mushrooms: straw, tagliatelle and above all fruit mushrooms. Excellent cuisine, superlative mushrooms.

12/11/2024: I was here for a degree. we were about 70 people. the service was slow and chaotic, we waited about 1 hour for a bottle of water. The waiters are nice but for me it's a no.
