A very small but excellent wine bar in Borgomale. We were there for dinner and had a mixed plate of typical Italian antipasti, as well as two regional pasta dishes each. Everything was very well prepared and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere in the old cellar was both rustic and modern.
The wine selection is usually extensive in this region, but they also offer wines by the glass if there are only two of you and you can't finish a whole bottle.
A welcoming place, just like the owners, with traditional cuisine made with fresh ingredients. The chef's skill brings true local flavors to the dishes. See you soon.
Real small family run restaurant.
You can breathe real Langhe air with quality food in a small but very characteristic place with just a few tables.
Ezio and Valeria are very pleasant people. Valeria cooks with passion that can be seen in the dishes and Ezio, who may appear gruff, is actually friendly and kind-hearted.
I will definitely be back, well done.
Locale carino e caratteristico, situato sotto la sala comunale. Per la parte culinaria, non abbiamo mangiato male ma neanche bene. Rapporto qualità-prezzo non bilanciato. Siamo usciti non soddisfatti al 100%.
The wine bar is an intimate and very welcoming environment, as is the host, who took care of us and accompanied us throughout the entire dinner.
We opted for two appetizers, two main courses, and two desserts, accompanied by an excellent bottle of Nebbiolo recommended by the house.
The food was typical Piedmontese, from the Langhe, and of excellent quality.
The bill was fair for both the quality and quantity of the dishes.
Our experience at Crutin lived up to our high expectations; we will definitely return!
