Domenico, son of the late Pasquale, is in the kitchen. After some experience, he has brought the historic family restaurant back to its best.

04/01/2026: Excellent service, historic and welcoming venue. Giovanni, son of the longtime owner Pasquale, who passed away a few years ago, is now in the kitchen. He deserves a lot of trust after a period of training. Now we can say that everything is back to normal.

23/11/2025: An ideal location for family events like birthdays, communions, etc. The atmosphere is harmonious and refined, the staff professional, and the food excellent. I recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and festive occasion.

12/08/2025: A delightful discovery. Varied menu, excellent value. The squid stuffed with buffalo mozzarella, ventricina, and fresh tomato sauce are pure poetry.

04/01/2026: This family-run trattoria has limited tables (reservations are recommended), and the service is attentive and fast. The orecchiette with Varese broccoli and the black cherry and walnut tart deserve special mention. Let's move on to the dishes: homemade cooking, excellent quality, and generous portions. Prices are average. We'll be back.

22/11/2025: An extraordinary discovery, a day trip that went beyond expectations. Superlative food, impeccable service, with extreme cordiality and friendliness from the waiter Gabriele. Authentic and delicious appetizers, exceptional grilled meat and, as a highlight, excellent desserts. Highly recommended, the babà and ricotta and pear cake. We will be back.
22/11/2025: Discovered a few years ago, whenever I can, driving back from Rome, I stop in, and I did again today.
Authenticity, speed, and friendliness are its hallmarks, and what's more, it's modest: today, for example, a first course of ricotta and spinach ravioli with butter and sage, another of fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, a generous second course of mixed roast meats, a quarter of a liter of wine, a bottle of still mineral water, service charge, bread, two portions of berry dessert, two coffees, and an iced mirto for—you won't believe it—just €39!

15/08/2025: Mid-August Day, lunch. I arrive at 1 PM, the first course is served at 3 PM, and the first appetizer arrives at 2 PM. The second course arrives at 3:30 PM, the meat at 4:30 PM. Ice cream is for 5:30 PM, so we leave at 7 PM. The food is good, but nothing to justify these crazy times. The place is full of flies, but overall it's clean, and the staff is okay. I paid too much for such a long service.
I don't think the place is adequate for all the seats they wanted to hold.

14/12/2025: I'd been to this place about 10 years ago, but I didn't remember the location very well, much less the menu. Yesterday, as soon as I arrived, I breathed in the clean, fresh air, surrounded by nature with a small lake called, aptly, Lovers' Lake. Upon entering the dining room, I sensed a very peaceful and familiar atmosphere, very tidy and clean. The lunch was truly exceptional, worth it. The ingredients were excellent, perfectly cooked, fresh, and plentiful. It had everything and more. Thank you for the welcome and the friendly, fast service. I'd gladly recommend it to anyone who wants to go.

20/08/2025: I didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment. A nice, traditional, fairly rustic place with a few children's playground equipment in the courtyard, very useful. Very good service, fast and friendly. The only downside is the location; I drove 14km of winding roads to get there. Good, tasty food, decent house wine to accompany the meal.

Another 40 minutes for a first course, which was incredibly expensive.
Tables arrived after us, and were served first.
The bill was even more expensive than the first course.
An experience to forget and never repeat.
It's a shame there's no zero-star option.

Good seafood, especially the paccheri allo scoglio and the babà.
Friendly and attentive staff.

25/09/2025: I spent the evening with childhood friends for our annual reunion. We ate pizza, bruschetta, and mixed fried fish. The dishes were delicious, and everyone enjoyed their orders. However, I would recommend more customer service, as the staff was constantly busy with other things, and every time we caught their eye, they were always super busy. I'm thinking a few more waiters wouldn't hurt. In any case, the evening was enjoyable, and everything went smoothly.

Try the tomato-based baguette, with cherry tomatoes, diced boiled potatoes, zucchini, and arugula pesto.

04/09/2025: Overall, it was a good experience. The food was good (especially the burgers), but a bit pricey, especially the appetizers, considering the quantity! The food was very slow. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The place was a bit dark.
25/08/2025: A truly exceptional discovery. A culinary journey rich in authentic and intense flavors. Every bite of the sandwiches is a unique experience, thanks to the perfect balance between the quality of the meat and the authenticity of the provola.
Kudos to the management: the atmosphere is reminiscent of a cozy pub, with a selection of unique and quality beers.
Furthermore, the option of enjoying a free game of billiards or ping pong makes the experience even more enjoyable and informal, far removed from today's overly standardized and monotonous venues.
A place I wholeheartedly recommend.
The prices are absolutely in line with the excellent quality offered.

23/01/2026: I only stayed one night on a business trip, but I have to say the hotel is very spacious and welcoming, the staff very friendly, and the breakfasts excellent! I'll be back.
20/12/2025: While attending a conference, I really appreciated this hotel's cuisine. The dishes, typical of Molise, were very popular, especially the appetizers and first courses. The service was fast and impeccable.
4 stars for the location, but only because it's a bit out of the way, but it's truly appreciated for its tranquility and splendid view.
