23/03/2026: We visited this restaurant for the first time and were thrilled. The quality of the food is truly top-notch: the rigatoni with scampi was delicious, and, unsurprisingly, the portions were generous.
The main courses were also excellent: the grilled tuna and swordfish were cooked to perfection, and the mussels were simply exquisite. Special mention goes to the staff, who were truly courteous and professional, and made us feel at ease right away.
It's a place we'll definitely return to. Highly recommended!
08/03/2026: I went on Sunday and I don't recommend it to anyone, the starter was very poor plus the first course had a 2 hour wait.

Location with a beautiful view
06/12/2025: We visited this agriturismo for lunch with family and friends. The place is located on a hill and offers a splendid panoramic view of the sea and our Maiella mountains.
The owners, very kind, welcomed us warmly. Many compliments to the chef, who prepared elaborate dishes using traditional local ingredients, simple yet very tasty. Everything was truly excellent and presented with a certain refinement. 👏👏👏 Highly recommended ❤️

Fiorella, the hostess, is always available, and the great Ruggiero, a superb chef (he took Molise to the finals with Alessandro Borghese), let me try his pasta with ventricina, which was nothing short of amazing. Thanks guys.
11/08/2025: Ruggero (renowned chef) and Fiorella are the 2 wonderful owners, very kind and always available, the place is enchanting and the structure stunning, we have a large dog and there was no problem (with prior notice) I highly recommend.

29/09/2025: We visited this restaurant on Sunday, September 28, 2025, to celebrate my brothers-in-law's 40th wedding anniversary.
We were all pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food (seafood-based), which was absolutely delicious, tasty, and perfectly presented. The service was excellent, with attention to detail (the cutlery was always changed after each course, without forgetting anything, and always very attentive), and the staff was helpful and extremely kind.
My heartfelt congratulations to my brothers-in-law for their choice, but above all, my compliments to the staff at Il Poggio, who treated us to excellent dishes. Thank you, I hope to return soon.
23/09/2025: I went for lunch: the staff was attentive, helpful, and kind. Perfect, I'd say. The dining room is beautiful and very large. The food was amazing. The appetizer was fresh fish, especially salmon. The first courses were excellent! I was very satisfied.

05/09/2025: Just a few dozen meters from the sea, this is a very casual place, but both the fish and pizza are well-cooked and of excellent quality. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

25/04/2025: Premetto che quello che ho mangiato è stato buono, nella media, ma i prezzi sono da stella Michelin.
Vado nel dettaglio: due antipasti (un piatto di alici marinate alla paprica, 4 cozze ripiene, due polpette più di pane che di pesce, tre moscardini in umido, una insalata di patate pomodori e qualche gamberetto 18x2=36€), uno spaghetto a vongole (lupini per l’esattezza 12€), una grigliata (due scampi piccoli, una triglietta, un merluzzo e un rombo minuscolo 30€), una patatina fritta 3€, un’insalata verde (nel piatto della grigliata, quasi da guarnizione al piatto piuttosto che come un contorno vero e proprio 4€), un’acqua 2€, 1/2 litro di bianco della casa in caraffa 8€, soutè di cozze (in un piatto fondo da primo 10€) + coperti per un totale di 110€.
Tutto sommato il menù per una persona.
Personale gentile e disponibile.

04/06/2025: Io e un mio amico abbiamo fatto un bel giro in moto partendo da Roma e arrivati a Montenero val cocchiaro dopo aver visitato il pantano della zitolla ci anno indicato il ristorante dove ad accoglierci c'era il signor Gianni persona molto simpatica e disponibile ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio abbiamo mangiato molto bene ci ritornerò. Grazie ancora signor gianni
