07/09/2025: I wanted to eat out on Sunday 07/09/25. I searched on Google for restaurants in San Salvo and read excellent reviews with attached photos on this restaurant (La Cascina). I decided to go there. Excellent cuisine, generous portions, excellent menu and honest prices. Courteous staff, very close to the San Salvo Marina seafront and the Adriatic state road 16.

14/09/2025: We visited this ice cream shop several evenings and tried several flavors (the pistachio and figs were excellent). Exceptional ice cream, tasty, creamy! It also doesn't leave you feeling thirsty like the excess sugar in regular ice cream. The cones' wafers are also delicious. 13/09/2025: My partner and I spent four days at this splendid agriturismo nestled in the countryside of upper Molise during the third week of August. Perched atop a hill, you can admire the landscape towards San Salvo Marina, with its stretch of coast, and the hinterland towards the Apennines. Caterina and Michele made us feel right at home and offered us a taste of their region's typical products. All this was complemented by the presence of three wonderful dogs and two cats who kept us company during our stay. The friendliness, service, typical local products, and the facilities (rooms, garden, and pool) were fantastic. Highly recommended for a few relaxing days immersed in the Molise region. We'll try to come back at least to say hello.

11/09/2025: I stayed with Caterina and Michele for five days to relax. They were both super friendly and looked after me like I was family. The food was fantastic. I'll be back with my wife in Manchester sometime.

26/09/2025: I arrived at the restaurant at 9:45 p.m. and they refused to serve me. The notice says it closes at 10:30 p.m. It's a shame that they don't do that. I spoke directly to the owner of the establishment, but he refused to let me in. It was a very bad attitude.

21/09/2025: 2025, two years have passed, and we returned to spend an evening at this restaurant. Nothing has changed except the menu (thankfully) :). Welcomed by the owner, who was very friendly, as was his wife, we chose the "seafood" menu. Once again, an exquisite meal from start to finish. Nothing to complain about except perhaps the enormous quantities in each dish, even though we were on a gourmet menu (6 courses). Congratulations to Chef Cuoco, who creates these dishes. One conclusion: quickly discover this Italian gastronomic destination that combines quality and friendliness, all at an unbeatable price. 2023: What a wonderful experience to have in a small village in Molise. An extraordinary setting, and top-notch cuisine: originality, quality, diversity... 5-star service provided by a smiling and competent staff. Not to mention the owner and his wife, who take great care of their customers. In short, a restaurant that more than deserves the praise of the Gambero Rosso guide. And what about the price? How can you serve this quality at this price? Extraordinary

01/09/2025: We were there for our wedding anniversary and were very satisfied. The place was welcoming, the owner was a delightful and professional person, and they served us high-quality food, expertly prepared by the chef, Giovanni. What can I say? It's a place we'd happily return to.

14/09/2025: A 45-minute wait before we could order. Another 40 minutes for a first course, which was incredibly expensive. Tables arrived after us, and were served first. The bill was even more expensive than the first course. An experience to forget and never repeat. It's a shame there's no zero-star option.

04/09/2025: Nice location, right on the beach with a sea view. Good seafood, especially the paccheri allo scoglio and the babà. Friendly and attentive staff.

09/10/2025: Informal atmosphere, very fresh fish, a simple place where you eat well and the price-quality ratio is absolutely advantageous

09/09/2025: A real disappointment! The mezze maniche allo scoglio was a simple tomato pasta with just a hint of shellfish. And I don't like not knowing how much I'll pay for what I eat.
