19/04/2026: The service was terrible. They brought the appetizers without bread. We asked for wine three times because the waitresses didn't understand anything. The food wasn't very fresh; you could smell it, neither the fish nor the cuts of meat were fresh. The waitresses were completely incapable of providing professional service. They took away some people's plates, then brought new ones, and they'd forgotten to clear the table entirely. There were no cutlery. They didn't even understand Italian, and they got the order wrong. It was a disaster. Change the waitress and your job, you're incapable. The dessert and tiramisu weren't fresh. Everything was absolutely awful.
07/04/2026: A comfortable and tidy atmosphere, the menu offers a wide range of dishes: first courses, second courses, desserts, pizzas, calzones and stuffed focaccias, and salads, all at prices that are more affordable than other restaurants in the area. For lunch on weekdays, a full and tasty menu is available for €10. I highly recommend it.

20/04/2026: We dined at "da Lucia" as guests of the adjacent Hotel Di Nardo.
The dishes were good quality, both typical of Molise and elsewhere.
The arrosticini were excellent, and the prices were very fair.
The service, while friendly and attentive, was decidedly slow.

25/11/2025: A lovely discovery in the heart of Campobasso. The interior is full of charm with vaulted ceilings, pretty tablecloths, and ambient music. We ordered a hot appetizer (four excellent tastings), followed by a tuna steak for me and a mixed seafood grill (very good). The homemade dessert was also perfect.

11/02/2026: A lovely little restaurant. We had a table opposite the restrooms, so it was a bit cramped. But that didn't matter. The food was excellent, fresh, and very tasty. The service was very nice and friendly. If we ever come back to Campobasso, we'll definitely visit this restaurant again. A Mediterranean feel right in the heart of the city.
02/01/2026: The food is truly divine! The place is very small but welcoming and tastefully decorated; it practically transports you from the alleys of the city center to a charming seaside restaurant! In the summer, they also offer outdoor seating across the street from the entrance. In short, if you want to eat something delicious, a good seafood sandwich, quality products, and imagine yourself by the sea, this is the place to be.

18/04/2026: A modern but characterless place, with young but inexperienced staff. The pizza, if you can call it that, was soulless; it was cold, the mozzarella hadn't fully melted, and it was flavorless. It's a shame, but there's a lot of work to be done.
28/03/2026: An AMAZING pizza!!! High-quality ingredients and a super light dough!! I also highly recommend the PANUOZZO with hamburger... truly unbeatable. If I really had to nitpick, I'd advise the owners to make the place warmer during the winter 😉 Otherwise, it's still the best pizzeria in the area! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

21/08/2025: Trattoria on the border between Molise and Puglia, overlooking the rolling hills of Molise.
Excellent and varied local appetizers.
Excellent and full-bodied Negroamaro wine.
Two first courses, followed by second courses: cavatelli with speck and asparagus, and the lean ravioli with tomato sauce were also delicious.
The mixed roast lamb and roast meats were excellent.
The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean, with just the right amount of air conditioning.
Ample and convenient parking.
The owner was present and attentive.

16/12/2025: A coffee for €1.40 and a mini pastry for €1 seem absurd and unjustified to me. At CB Centro, max. €1.20. Then consider that the bar is located far from the center, in the industrial area of Colle delle Api... The hunger for money goes to your head.

I'm the waitress at Solelago.
We always welcome criticism, but only when it's constructive.
After each course, we asked if everything was okay. We even received compliments on the pasta, which was described as "tasteless and watery." In fact, only empty plates were sent back.
With respect and courtesy, we wish you all the best, unlike you, who were rude and impolite.
30/08/2025: After having lunch at my 90-year-old mother-in-law's birthday party, I have to say that the cold appetizer plate was half covered in carasau bread, a bit of baby octopus salad, and a meaningless bowl of tasteless Venere rice. The first course was tagliatelle with seafood (I don't know what tagliatelle has to do with it), diluted with cooking water, and tasteless to say. The second course was frozen monkfish with meaningless vegetables, also tasteless to say. The only redeeming feature was the fried food in the centerpiece, but the plates were awful. The fruit was paid 3 euros per person separately. A restaurant to avoid in my opinion. I'll leave the review to those of you who go there; it's disgusting.

29/03/2026: Dinner for a classic pizza. Until now, I'd mostly been to Marius for burgers and steaks, and of course, everything was always delicious. This time, I had the pleasure of trying the pizza: excellent dough and quality toppings, like everything else. Even the buffalo mozzarella fried in the pizza dough was a real treat.
A welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.
What can I say? Marius is a guarantee, as always, in Campobasso.
Bravo!!!

22/01/2026: We arrived and had a great time. There was a long wait for the pizza 🍕, but there's really nothing better than a nice, good pizza 🍕. The specials for our group were excellent. The menu list definitely had some price increases, since we're from Rome. The service was always smiling, and the staff were really attentive. Top-notch cleanliness. Top-notch decor. It was a sports tour. The next day was perfect.

But the service and the owners... I'm shocked by their almost annoyed behavior, repeatedly repeating their courtesy... the service... well, what can I say... I definitely don't recommend it.
19/10/2025: A welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, a varied menu, and consistently good quality dishes. The polenta with pumpkin, pancetta, and provola cheese, and the grilled liver sausage are truly special. Prices are more than reasonable, and the service is quick and efficient. Highly recommended for non-Molise residents who want to sample local cuisine.
