The best place to eat Isernia and Molise cuisine. A relaxing atmosphere to enjoy and breathe in Isernia.
The owners are wonderful. They made us feel at home with unique and tasty dishes.

04/07/2025: I chose the L’Affresco restaurant for Easter lunch and I was really impressed. The restaurant, nestled in the heart of the historic center of Isernia, combines elegance, hospitality and a strong bond with tradition. The Easter menu was designed down to the smallest details, with dishes that were able to combine taste and seasonality. The appetizer was a refined veal round with mixed salad, light and tasty. To follow, a delicious white lasagna with asparagus and sausage, creamy and well-balanced. The second course was a true tribute to the Molise tradition: roast lamb with cheese and eggs, very tender and full of flavor. To round it all off, a homemade pastiera. Impeccable service, courteous staff and a warm and authentic atmosphere make L’Affresco a perfect place to celebrate special occasions. Highly recommended!

15/08/2025: Is a great place, the good old trattoria , old style . Is a experience, probably the negative comment are from people that never really been in a trattoria in the 80-90s ( as they pretend to ). Great portion, at price you don't find in Milan or even in another big Italian city ( Rome, Florence, bologna). Buono e te la cavi con 25 euro a testa primo secondo e bevande! Ci torno quando posso!
10/08/2025: Pizza prices at €7 are typical of the neighborhood, with excellent quality. We had dinner twice, and surprisingly, there were no tourists there, just locals.
Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy food, not just snobbish.

02/08/2025: A wonderful experience, I'd heard about it. The staff was polite and extremely helpful, and I complimented the very professional head waiter. The food was excellent in both quantity and quality. Compliments to the very professional chef, who manages to bring a touch of innovation to the dishes while maintaining their original flavor. Finally, the restrooms were very well-maintained. I recommend trying this beautiful, open-air spot away from the smoky atmosphere. I absolutely recommend it... I'm giving it 5 stars because it doesn't make any more.

02/08/2025: In the area for the Napoli football retreat we discovered this Pizzeria where we ate an excellent Pizza (as a Neapolitan I say Bravi) a special mention for Tamara kind and friendly, we will definitely return.
18/06/2025: We happened to be here with friends, yes we looked for a pizzeria and found the right one. We ate a really good pizza, thin, tasty and very digestible.
Prices more than normal. Highly recommended.

24/08/2025: Excellent food as always. Service is a bit slow; perhaps they should rethink the organization, which has only one waitress taking orders. Regarding the atmosphere: it's a bit difficult to communicate, even when sitting close together. But this is a common problem with many places.
17/08/2025: The food was incredible, from the fried foods to the pizza, all the way to the dessert. Each course is meticulously prepared, and the attention to detail in pairing ingredients shows great skill.
The service was also excellent, and the wait times were just right.
We'll be back as soon as we can.
P.S. Try the Tracchiulell pizza, you won't regret it.

25/08/2025: A grill restaurant in a very elegant setting with excellent appetizers and carpaccios. Many high-quality cuts of meat and a variety of wines.
Our steak was a little overcooked for my taste; I'd recommend serving it rare, perhaps on a hot cast iron griddle so those who prefer can cook it a little longer. They don't offer coffee after the meal. Overall, a positive experience!

I've never seen a restaurant where, when I asked questions about the menu, the waiter/cook responded rudely and rudely to a customer...
Unacceptable!!!
even though the dishes could have been good.
I didn't get a chance to sit down and try them because of the service.
We left immediately after the incident.

10/08/2025: Regardless of the events I organize, I've been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years. The food is excellent, the service is courteous, and I recommend the Florentine steak, worthy of a Tuscan restaurant. A shout out to Marco, the always courteous owner.

Good ingredients, rubbery dough, insufficient service and INADEQUATE toilet: no hand soap, no paper and terrible cleaning.
You probably pay the price for having traveled little and knowing little about catering..

This evening I waited about an hour and a half to get the pizzas, the justification after I got furious, since the tables after us were eating was that they had the wrong clerk, forty minutes before they had told me they were busy with the takeaway service.
Something has changed and in a negative but very negative way.
I don't think you will see me again after the impression I made with friends who came from out of town on purpose.
Something spectacular with a unique taste.
