06/05/2025: Ottimo ristorante di cucina tradizionale molisana. Antipasti di affettati tipici, capocolli, ventricina, formaggi freschi e cotti alla piastra, sottaceri ottimi fatti da loro. Primi di fusilli fatti a mano al sugo di carni miste di agnello, castrato, maiale ecc. secondi di carne, con agnello alla brace, principe delle carni. Il vino rosso e' unico, ma forte e corposo, come le tradizioni molisane.

03/08/2025: Cucina a tratti immangiabile, antipasti discreti ma alcune fette di pane delle bruschette parzialmente carbonizzate. Spaghetti alla carbonara sconsigliatissimi (specie se si è romani). Vino della casa buono.

09/08/2025: I stayed at this hotel for just one night; the rooms were simple and clean. I was supposed to have breakfast at the hotel bar, but I couldn't because among the many sweet and savory croissants, there was nothing lactose-free, just a packaged chocolate tart. I wasn't expecting much, but... it's inconceivable that these days a hotel can't offer at least one croissant for those with lactose intolerance.

31/08/2025: I'm very politely responding to Mr. Michele Augelli's review. I'm the waitress at Solelago. We always welcome criticism, but only when it's constructive. After each course, we asked if everything was okay. We even received compliments on the pasta, which was described as "tasteless and watery." In fact, only empty plates were sent back. With respect and courtesy, we wish you all the best, unlike you, who were rude and impolite.

30/08/2025: After having lunch at my 90-year-old mother-in-law's birthday party, I have to say that the cold appetizer plate was half covered in carasau bread, a bit of baby octopus salad, and a meaningless bowl of tasteless Venere rice. The first course was tagliatelle with seafood (I don't know what tagliatelle has to do with it), diluted with cooking water, and tasteless to say. The second course was frozen monkfish with meaningless vegetables, also tasteless to say. The only redeeming feature was the fried food in the centerpiece, but the plates were awful. The fruit was paid 3 euros per person separately. A restaurant to avoid in my opinion. I'll leave the review to those of you who go there; it's disgusting.

08/09/2025: I had lunch last Sunday at La Volpe restaurant-pizzeria. The appetizer was spectacular, and in itself was a complete meal. High-quality ingredients. The first courses were meticulously prepared. The second courses were also truly tasty. I've known the owners for 40 years, and they've always been excellent chefs. Their daughters, now grown up, have studied food science and hold numerous specialized qualifications. They are truly excellent cooks. The atmosphere is impeccably maintained. The staff is so kind and courteous. You feel right at home. I knew the legendary founder, Cenzella, who cooked me traditional dishes using local ingredients. She has passed those recipes down to today's chefs. Congratulations. Recommended. A perfect score.

07/09/2025: All homemade stuff, the ricotta and walnut ravioli are excellent, I recommend them, the cheese and egg balls are lovely and plentiful, the wine is excellent.

12/05/2025: Da evitare assolutamente prezzi alti e senza menù alla carta. Siamo andati a 3 persone abbiamo mangiato pochissimo: antipasto solo caldo niente crudo, una frittura di pesce, una bottiglia d’acqua ci ha fatto pagare 150€. Il conto un autentico furto! Lo sconsiglio vivamente.

11/09/2025: I ate there just yesterday, two pizzas and two bottles of water for €21, as if we were in Riccione. The pizza, which cost €7.50, was terrible. The mozzarella looked like reinforced concrete. I was sick all night, but the photos speak for themselves. The inedible layer of mozzarella looks like a piece of asphalt.

25/08/2025: A fantastic experience discovering the authentic flavors of Molise. It looks like a normal café, but in the tiny kitchen, an Italian grandmother conjures up fabulous dishes that exude tradition and authenticity. Definitely worth a try!

05/05/2025: Modest location externally, not very well looked after. Great staff and excellent service. Good quality food. Not a perfectly comfortable environment, but a large and bright room, certainly advisable for groups and groups.

20/06/2025: Restaurant as per tradition. I must say that we ate meat...good to tell the truth..but everyone ate fish and seemed very satisfied. Also to try the fish. For us a nice 9+! only thing that we had asked for the menu to decide the dessert but it never arrived. Maybe the waitress did not understand our request...that's normal...

04/09/2025: €25 pizza pictured!!! Huge tourist trap, disrespectful attitude from the owner when taking our order. We were clearly treated like tourists and our money was extorted!!! Run away!!!! As we left, the owner watched us go laughing. Unfortunately, we only realized later when we opened our pizzas.....A disgrace!

21/08/2025: Pizzeria da Giovanni is truly a guarantee! The staff is extremely kind and helpful, always ready to make guests feel at home. The pizza is excellent: fresh ingredients, light and digestible dough, and perfectly cooked for a fragrant and delicious experience. A place where you can feel the passion and attention to detail. Highly recommended for a dinner with family or friends!

10/07/2025: Excellent! Very friendly staff! The best place to eat Isernia and Molise cuisine. A relaxing atmosphere to enjoy and breathe in Isernia. The owners are wonderful. They made us feel at home with unique and tasty dishes. Highly recommended!

04/07/2025: I chose the L’Affresco restaurant for Easter lunch and I was really impressed. The restaurant, nestled in the heart of the historic center of Isernia, combines elegance, hospitality and a strong bond with tradition. The Easter menu was designed down to the smallest details, with dishes that were able to combine taste and seasonality. The appetizer was a refined veal round with mixed salad, light and tasty. To follow, a delicious white lasagna with asparagus and sausage, creamy and well-balanced. The second course was a true tribute to the Molise tradition: roast lamb with cheese and eggs, very tender and full of flavor. To round it all off, a homemade pastiera. Impeccable service, courteous staff and a warm and authentic atmosphere make L’Affresco a perfect place to celebrate special occasions. Highly recommended!
