27/08/2024: We went for dinner on the recommendation of a friend. Outside the restaurant the Michelin plaques dominate (...), and this perhaps explains what follows. They placed us in the internal room, in a corner with very little space and where there was no air conditioning, so much so that we asked several times to turn it up (we didn't notice any difference). We order a tartare: nothing special, the meat is not bad, but the portion is small and the seasoning is absent. The cappelletti taste good, but they are raw. My husband's shank is so hard that it is difficult to cut, while my pork is tender, but the "crispy" crust is instead soft, and the portion is small. An appetizer, a first course, 2 second courses and a beer for the sum of €110, much more expensive than all the fish restaurants we visited in the area, and certainly not memorable. Certainly the quickest: the dishes come out a few minutes after the order is placed and cool quickly, a sign of pre-cooking with final heating in the microwave. Young and smiling, but immature service. In the dining room they couldn't explain how the suckling pig was cooked, and getting the invoice was a pain that lasted 15 minutes.

24/08/2024: I often come to FANO, it's always a great pleasure to share a delicious artisan piadina with friends in this place. The staff interacts with great delicacy and with the utmost respect for customers, sometimes advising you on products. They also make vegetarian dishes which I have never tried, also because every time I am overwhelmed by the ingredients on display. Sooner or later I will try it. Congratulations indeed

08/08/2024: I went for pizza last night with my family. From the outside you don't give the place a penny, but these are precisely the places where you eat good food. Spectacular pizza!! It melted in your mouth, thin and delicate. The service is also quick, they don't make you wait 2 hours and reorder the drinks because they have warmed up in the meantime. If you are in the area, stop by, guaranteed!

15/08/2024: Fano was just a stopover on the way south for us. We were very lucky to have found this campsite. Lovingly laid out, very quiet and the associated restaurant is very tasty. We can highly recommend him.

25/07/2024: Da tanto volevo provare questo ristorante e finalmente il giorno è arrivato. Il locale, in fondo alla spiaggia libera della Sassonia, è semplice ma accogliente, tavoli e sedie in stile anni '80, aperto solo a pranzo da martedì a sabato. Il menù che cambia sempre (anche se i piatti sono più o meno sempre gli stessi) è scritto su una lavagna all'entrata del locale. Le portate non sono molte, 2-3 antipasti, primi e secondi (di solito è buon segno). Qui fritture e grigliate di pesce non sono in menù. Ordinato come antipasto delle cozze in padella con prezzemolo e delle alici sott'olio, per secondo canocchie bollite, sardoncini in salmì e cozze gratinate. Piatti semplici ma sapientemente cucinati e penso, freschi ( non riesco a distinguere bene il pesce fresco da quello congelato). Molto buoni i dolci: semifreddo al limone con guarnizione di fragole, un tiramisù e un tortino al caffè. Porzioni "giuste" e prezzi non bassi ( si tratta di pesce che una volta veniva definito "povero"), servizio veloce e cortese.

07/08/2024: This little deli with tables is amazing! I hope I’m leaving the review for the right place, but we came here often for takeout. The ladies working there are so friendly, and the food is incredible and at super low prices! My daughter quite literally had their gnocchi for every meal. Best value in Fano!

01/08/2024: Locale carino,personale gentile prezzi eccessivamente alti per quello che si è mangiato...siamo stati dentro perché ci era stato detto che era condizionato...invece un caldo bestiale...è per favore fate qualcosa per le mosche...non si può mangiare scansando di continuo le mosche...una tenda all'entrata sarebbe utile 3 primi strozzapreti cacio e pepe pasta molto dozzinale comprata e sugo molto liquido3 grigliate composte da 3 spiedini di pollo3 arrosticini 3 braciole di agnello e 3 salsicce 2 patate fritte 2 hamburger acqua e 2 caraffe di birra 1 moretta 1 grappa 200 euro

26/06/2024: Had one of the best cuts ever!! Congratulations again!!! The price paid is worth every penny, you can feel the quality of the meat! Really friendly staff, they explain all the cuts to you, compliments, I'll definitely check back when I pass.

10/07/2024: Good coffee service I made do on my own. Sorry if I didn't notice the signs you put up, I was amazed and not annoyed as you mentioned that there were two people, one behind the bar counter and the other in the room, so I mistakenly thought that they were doing table service, but if you have displayed the various signs that I unfortunately did not see, you are absolutely right. I repeat that the coffee was really good.

27/08/2024: Room 314, with sea view (see picture). Room was large (it was for a family). Enough storage space. Lift available. Personnel very friendly and helpful (I asked where to go and eat a good pizza, and the waitress came back with a handwritten list of places). Very good breakfast. In the afternoon, drinks were served with nice and abundant snacks. Excellent position: directly at the sea, close to the harbour and to the center. No need to move the car at all.

13/08/2024: On Google it says opening at 7pm. We arrived at 7.20pm and everything still seemed closed. An elderly gentleman welcomed us saying that he would notify us of our arrival and in the meantime a young waiter came to meet us saying that they would open 7.30/7.45pm. We would have waited but since we had small children we wanted to be sure that by 7.30pm we could start ordering something at least for them. The waiter enters inside and the unbelievable erupts. We witness in disbelief the most shameful scene in the history of Fano catering. The owner, being a real rude person, started shouting "fuck" in front of us customers (adults and children) and employees, saying that he didn't give a damn, that the waiter had to keep sweeping and that we could just leave. Obviously we left because we would never have given our money to a dump like that. If you treat customers like that, I've seen how you treat employees (if they are) and who knows what else. This guy is the disgrace of those who work in the industry. The employees were so ashamed that they could only apologize with their eyes lowered and return to the mise en place. Shame.
