06/04/2025: In un aprile che sembra gennaio siamo arrivati al posto di confine tra Stato pontificio e Regno Borbonico. Qui, da anni e con passione, viene preparata una ottima cucina del territorio, con grande fierezza. Abbiamo mangiato triglie marinate (splendide), insalata di mare tiepida (sapore molto buono), riso ai frutti di mare (grintoso), brodetto di pesce alla sanbenedettese (unico per tipicità) e un sorbetto al Montepulciano d’Abruzzo capace di fare digerire splendidamente il tutto. Pranzo in atmosfera accogliente, con servizio attento. Eravamo in tre (io, mio marito e il barboncino). Quello più coccolato è stato il barboncino. Quando una persona ama i cani e il suo lavoro, ha un grande cuore.

27/10/2025: We went for lunch today (by reservation), 12 of us, and we ate like GOD! Things from another era. The sheep salami, the lamb tripe, the gnocchi with pieces of sheep, the pezzata mutton, the grilled roast lamb, the delicious dessert, water, wine, coffee, various liqueurs. Price? I won't say, you won't believe it anyway. The two cooks/waitresses were excellent. We'll be back!!!!!!

17/08/2025: The quality/price ratio for the dishes they offer is terrible. They don't have a wine list and those they offer are of low quality with high prices. The fish is not recommended. The fried fish is terrible and fried with very old oil, so much so that it seemed more like chips than fried fish. Food truck food.

30/09/2025: Ordered seafood salad as soon as it arrived at the table and sent it back, smelly, decent pizza, piñata alla chitarrina full of large, dried-up mussels, edible, in the end the bill also reported a returned dish which I paid for asking for an explanation from the owner, an arrogant and ignorant person who evidently does not take care of his customers as he should, I strongly advise against paying anything more but eating well is worth it
14/09/2025: I stayed for a week with my husband, and we ate at this restaurant almost every day. The seafood was excellent, the cuisine varied, but always on point. The waitress was kind, professional, and super efficient. Despite the crowds and the various starters and main courses to prepare, the food was quick and good.
Highly recommend.

20/08/2025: We're a couple from Turin on vacation in Fano, and we stayed at this beautiful location for an evening of dancing.
The team and the owner were very kind. We were hoping to dance to recent, engaging music like in Turin... but instead... old and very old music, ancient bachatas, and endless Cuban salsas... I recommend... change the DJ!!!! Or maybe he'll update... rude, know-it-all, and basically incompetent!
Very disappointing!

11/08/2025: Bad experience and little courtesy. We were on holiday and we ordered a birthday cake for my 12 year old son. I specified more than once that the sponge cake was alcohol-free. Surprise, it was full of alcohol. No one ate the cake, only a taste. The party was ruined. We went to report it, but in response they told me we always make it with alcohol, even for children, and no one ever complained. Not an apology or anything else from them for a serious mistake towards the customer.

05/07/2025: The pizza restaurant is in a peripheral area, but well served. When I went there, there was only one other table occupied, so I didn't have to wait and the service was fast.
I had a margherita pizza, a small beer and a tiramisu. The pizza is large, with a thin and crispy edge. Personally I found it very good, but those who prefer a higher and softer edge might not appreciate it.
The tiramisu was good, but not exceptional. In total I spent €18.
Overall, I had a good time and will definitely return to try other dishes.

14/11/2025: I've been eating at this place for three years (when I have no alternatives), and it seems to me that the quality has drastically declined.
I should point out that the following is purely my personal impression and not a statement of fact.
Regarding the pizza, I had the feeling that the dough wasn't particularly fresh: the texture, after a few minutes, tended to harden. This could be due to several perfectly plausible factors that aren't attributable to bad faith, such as poorly managed leavening, dough stored too long, or improper baking.
I can't say whether the pizza was frozen—I have no proof, nor can I claim it as fact—but the texture and aroma reminded me of those characteristics.
Regarding the price, I felt it was a bit high compared to the overall experience, even though this is a place that uses quality ingredients, which deserves recognition.
The desserts seemed average to me: adequate, without any particular flaws, but not particularly memorable. Sometimes I get the impression they're selling products that are two or three days old.
Overall, the ingredients are of potentially good quality; however, the execution technique seemed to me to fall short of the quality of the raw materials, creating a disconnect between the idea and the final result.
In short, this is just my subjective experience, which may vary from person to person. I appreciate the effort put into selecting the right ingredients, but I believe there's room for improvement in the dough management and attention to technical details, which would justify the price.
I wouldn't give it more than 2 stars, considering the price.
03/11/2025: Excellent bakery with bread and other products that truly stand out from the mass-produced products found in large retailers and elsewhere. Just look at how, even if you freeze a piece, you won't find any white spots when you thaw it, and the flavor remains the same. They offer a variety of flours to suit all tastes. While the prices aren't exactly affordable enough to make this bread an everyday staple, I understand that quality comes at a cost. The friendliness and courtesy are always there.

29/08/2025: The establishment is run by friendly and helpful people. The bathrooms are very clean and the prices are reasonable. I recommend it.
14/08/2025: We search for a chalet for a seafood dinner, strolling aimlessly along the San Benedetto seafront.
The sun has already sunk below the horizon, but the sky still retains that hand-painted orange-pink hue.
We walk, drawn by the smell of the sea and the sound of cutlery clinking on the tables.
We stop in front of "Le Tre Caravelle."
We ask if there's room, and with a natural smile, they welcome us immediately.
They set us up at a table right on the sand, in a space that hosts umbrellas during the day.
The feeling is that of a "seaside" dinner in the most literal sense of the word.
It's not a traditional restaurant, but a tasting room, a refined snack bar, with a wide selection of wines.
And here he comes in.
The waiter, barefoot like his colleagues, arrives with a light step.
We ask for the wine list.
He smiles and says:
— I'm the wine list! We change it so often it's impossible to keep it up to date. Tell me what you think, and I'll bring you some suggestions.
He disappears for a moment, then returns with three bottles in his hands.
He presents them with passion, describing their aromas, provenance, and history, as if he were reading a poem.
His enthusiasm is so contagious that I can't help but ask:
— How did your PASSION for wine come about?
And there, a whole new world opens up.
He studied architecture, but felt it wasn't his true calling.
A Roman and a die-hard Roma supporter, he followed Roma away to every city in Italy.
One day, on the fans' bus, he ended up traveling next to a group of young people... all food entrepreneurs, accustomed to reserved tables and premium bottles.
— They always opened good bottles... and that piqued my curiosity!
He dropped out of university and enrolled in a sommelier course at a renowned Roman school.
He worked in Michelin-starred restaurants, becoming a restaurant manager.
Then, as in every beautiful story, love struck: he met a girl from San Benedetto and decided to move there.
Together, they opened the "Progetto di Cantina sul Mare": an original idea, an immediate success.
The restaurant became a meeting place for those seeking special wines and stories to sip.
Local friends often recommended he try the I Maltagliati restaurant in Torano.
When he finally went there, he discovered by chance that the owners had been his classmates in Rome.
Wow, what a surprise!
From there, a collaboration was born: the refined dishes of the Maltagliatis met his wines.
They organized events and tastings, and business boomed.
So much so that, shortly thereafter, he and his partner took over the management of a historic restaurant in the Paese Alto area.
His name is Edoardo.
We, however, will always call it "the barefoot wine list."
Because sometimes, behind a glass, you find not only the right wine... but the right story.

02/09/2025: The hotel is in a beautiful panoramic location, surrounded by greenery. The prices are fair, the breakfast is good, and the rooms are spacious enough. The property could use some updating, but for a short stay at this price, it's more than adequate, especially considering the beautiful setting.
