28/08/2025: Family-run restaurant with a varied menu, including pizza, and good value. The fried foods are excellent, the ingredients are good, and the portions are generous. The grilled meat is excellent. Very friendly staff.

21/08/2025: Lunch break at work. I had a delicious chicken with roast potatoes and excellent service. I'll be back.

17/08/2025: Excellent restaurant! I especially recommend the lamb stew, perfectly cooked and rich in flavor. As a lover of liqueurs, I really appreciated their homemade ones, which are also available by the bottle, such as the laurel, broom, and olive liqueurs. A truly pleasant experience: highly recommended!

09/08/2025: Nice place, excellent food, with a distinct local flavor. A special shout-out goes to the woman who served us. Despite her busy schedule serving all the tables by herself, she was always very kind, courteous, and professional. This is our second time back, and we always leave very satisfied.

The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, perfect for an evening with friends. Every detail contributed to making the experience even more enjoyable. The value for money was excellent, absolutely justified given the quality of the pizza. In short, everything was fantastic, an experience worth repeating as soon as possible. Highly recommended!

27/05/2025: ‼️NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE 🧑‍🦽 Too bad!!!!!!! Because this little restaurant is a real gem in the historic center. Tastefully furnished. Excellent welcome. Excellent food. In the evening a unique spectacle because when you go out you find yourself in Piazza Garibaldi which is wonderful at night. I invite you to adapt to NO ARCHITECTURAL BARRIERS

21/01/2025: Excellent dinner, everything delicious, from the raw seafood to the very innovative dessert of mango, pink peppercorn, and arugula. Definitely a restaurant to return to.

15/08/2025: I dined here with friends. I ordered a wine by the glass from the wine list, and was silently served a different one. (It's a screw-top bottle, by the way, but I don't want to be intransigent about that.) When I pointed this out to the waitress, she looked at me askance as if it were the most normal thing in the world. Serving a wine different from the one listed on the wine list without informing the customer is a disgrace. Even by the glass. Especially if I order by the name of the winery and not the grape variety. And it would be polite to have the wines tasted by the glass as well to resolve these situations—which wasn't done—even though I realize it's rarely done. However, not offering to somehow resolve the problem when it's pointed out is very rude, and it's a serious problem. Offering to change the wine seems the least I can do, but evidently not here. An apology, too, wouldn't hurt. If we're going to assume that one wine is as good as another, then I'm going to open a watch shop and sell a Casio for the same price to every customer who asks for a Daytona... And the quartz Casio is more accurate, right? 🙄 The food is okay, but not unforgettable. Prices are medium-high, only justified if you eat on the terrace.

12/08/2025: The food is very good. If you eat outside, the view is stunning. The service could be improved; when there are a lot of people, it can be a bit slow.

19/08/2025: I want to write this review because many say the quality of "La Vela" has dropped, but the pizza is truly excellent, having improved greatly over time! The "parmigiana" pizza is a standout for me, finally without sausage (but when does a parmigiana have sausage?!). My only complaint is the desserts, which, in my opinion, don't offer the best value for money. Otherwise, the staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is truly serene and relaxing.

24/08/2025: Slightly cheaper than the others, but nothing out of the ordinary. The homemade gnocchi are very good. The service could be improved... From the reviews, I was hoping for better.

09/07/2025: Mia moglie ed io siamo assidui frequentatori di ristoranti giapponesi e questo è superiore alla media per quel che riguarda allestimento e spazi, ci ha convinto meno per il menù. I piatti che mettono a disposizione nel menù fisso a pranzo sono decisamente inferiori come numero nella nostra esperienza, insomma la possibilità di scelta è medio bassa. Le pietanze sono abbastanza buone, ma non abbiamo riscontrato delle eccellenze, magari il menù serale o nel weekend è diverso e vale qualcosa in più visti tutti questi giudizi positivi. Una nota negativa per i bagni che sono in numero decisamente insufficiente in caso di pienone, peraltro a pranzo durante la settimana erano sicuramente largamente sufficienti per i pochi avventori che eravamo. Servizio cortese, ma un po' distratto. Infine un prezzo decisamente elevato: normalmente si parla di circa E 16 a testa (più il coperto semmai), ma qui si parte già da E 19,90 oltre E 2 di coperto. Davvero eccessivi.

30/05/2025: Amazing sushi with original and traditional proposals, well-curated and tasty. There is also a nice variety of Italian food in addition to the all you can eat formula. I recommend it!

12/07/2025: Everyone sitting at the same table must eat the same food. We were forced to eat at the buffet, which was VERY TERRIBLE. At 9 PM, despite customers continuing to arrive, the buffet was empty. 1st and last time. Non-existent service.

07/07/2025: I tasted a lamb chop, grilled, simply stre-pi-to-so! The scaloppine saltimbocca version chosen by my wife was also excellent, tender and tasty. The first courses, with ragù and cherry tomatoes, not bad at all. The service was punctual and attentive. The price was very fair. If you happen to be in these parts, it is worth stopping by, it is worth it.

04/08/2025: The pizza was okay, but I've often had much better, the rest of the food was terrible. I've rarely had such a bland meal. Instead of grilled vegetables, we got reheated frozen spinach, the meat was tough and overcooked, and the ravioli was also straight out of the microwave.

28/07/2025: We ate outside...the pizza and burgers were delicious...the staff were friendly and fast, and it was a great experience! We'll be back!
