23/06/2025: Recommended! N.b. it only has 3.9 because it has all the negative reviews of the previous management. This is a new management and I must say that I found myself very well!! Thank goodness they reopened a place in our beautiful sacred mountain.

19/01/2025: Premetto che è un ristorante in cui di solito abbiamo sempre mangiato bene, ma oggi è stata tragica. Tagliatelle al ragù e porcini mandate indietro perchè terribili sembravano in brodo e il sugo non aveva alcun sapore. La cameriera molto professionale ha provveduto subito e le ha fatte rifare, commestibili di certo migliori ma non di certo degne di un ristorante e ragù non pervenuto, tanti funghi ma insapore. Spezzatino con polenta asciutto e duro, si notava subito che qualcosa non andasse bene nel piatto. Non volevo sconti o altro ma al momento del conto mi sarei aspettato che almeno ci chiedessero come fosse andata. Ok non siamo assidui in questo locale ma fino ad ora è sempre stato un piacere andarci, spero sia stato un caso sfortunato che ci ha rovinato il pranzo, fatto sta che pagare 70 euro per mangiare peggio che in una mensa mi da alquanto fastidio. 09/06/2025: A very nice hotel, with quick and easy access. The staff is welcoming and friendly, making the stay pleasant. One small drawback: the "lake view" side also overlooks a major road, which can be a bit inconvenient. Regarding the spa, the hammam unfortunately has a strong musty odor, making it unusable.

05/06/2025: Good hotel, but it's quite far from everything. The two-hour spa limit is a bit too short, I think. Breakfast is good by Italian standards, but the selection could be better.

13/06/2025: Grill restaurant in the center of Varese. The atmosphere is welcoming, the kitchen is open. The quality of the products is very high, and the plating is well-finished. The tables are a bit small, inside there is only one long table so you can find yourself eating next to some strangers. The staff is kind and knowledgeable.

13/04/2025: Ambiente raccolto , ruspante ma ben disposto . Servizio preciso e veloce. Asparagi con le uova in ciraghen classici, tagliata corretta, tagliatelle con cinghiale. Ottimi gli strudel con gelato e senza. Da rivisitare .

23/03/2025: Pleasant evening, excellent food, attentive and professional staff. If you appreciate the temperature in the room, dining in the heat, especially in mid-season, is certainly a positive thing. We will be back.

25/06/2025: Family restaurant with a veranda overlooking Lake Varese. Excellent cuisine and attentive and qualified staff. Tiramisu with beetroot and ginger as in the photo spectacular. Highly recommended.

19/06/2025: The confirmation that Christianity has laid its foundations on tiring paths, which require a great deal of faith, is followed by the confirmation that I need large doses of beer. Here Ristorante Montorfano comes to my aid by providing me with two 33cl with which to continue my pilgrimage. In addition to a lot of envy for the wealthier believers who could afford lunch with that breathtaking view.

19/06/2025: Always perfect, excellent and abundant dishes, kind and helpful staff, the strong point is the outdoor balcony with a wonderful view, shame about the few seats, but even inside you can have a lunch or dinner in complete tranquility. To try.

05/06/2025: Very nice bar. Well located. A large collection of quality Italian wines and spirits at reasonable prices. The decor is very nice. Aperitivo from 5:30 p.m.

08/05/2025: There were only a few of us but those three behind us couldn't hear each other or had hearing problems because they didn't speak but shouted. Every 5 minutes they went out to smoke and we could talk to each other but when they came back it was always a problem. However, good aperitif with platter, good frankfurters and sauerkraut with chips, piadina, hamburger with raw meat and salmon on bread. Adequate cost and trendy place but, blonde lady with short hair and company, you are really heavy.....

21/06/2025: Friendly, professional and welcoming staff. Good value for money. Very characteristic place located in the heart of Varese. The restaurant's signature dish is elephant ears and Orecchiette although it is also possible to eat other tasty dishes. Very clean place. Highly recommended if passing through Varese. Better to book to find a place.

Incredible quality, fast service, in a really pleasant atmosphere, in this magnificent restaurant that I highly recommend!!!! All at an absolutely breathtaking price. The pizzas are large, there is something for everyone... really no false notes! Thanks again to the kindness of the staff, incredible evening, they deserve to be known!
