18/12/2024: Aggredito dalla barista, perché ho osato fare prima lo scontrino, per poi consumare. "DA NOI SI CONSUMA PRIMA E POI SI PAGA, perché c'è chi si siede, chi salta la fila...". Spiegatemi cosa vuol dire. Comunque, peccato che non sia segnalato in alcun modo, nessun avviso per la clientela. E non sono il mago Otelma. Non ho avuto neanche il modo di "osservare", perché né al banco, né alla cassa c'era fila. Avessi visto un paio di clienti consumare e poi pagare, mi sarei adeguato. Tutto questo per una brioche più pasta cruda che farcia e un caffè annacquato.

The waiter gave us the lunchcard but it was only written in Italian. Instead of walking to our table and help us a little bit, he told me I could use Google translate. I felt quite humiliated and felt treated without respect. I left 10 euro for the bottle of still water and took the hand of my wife and left.

15/05/2025: Esperienza negativa, entrati subito ci han comunicato che se volevamo il menù del giorno avremmo dovuto guardare i piatti esposti e ricoperti di pellicola (eh no non erano di bellezza) preso un primo e un secondo a prezzi folli. Il primo era assolutamente fuori prezzo visto il quantitativo e la qualità (prodotti pronti) il secondo fuori da ogni logica per qualità prezzo 18€ una cotoletta di vitello senza contorno che puzzava di vecchio. Aggiungiamo anche il cestello dei fritti direttamente a contatto con il legno del tavolo e dimentichiamo sto locale. Peccato una volta era buono

16/06/2025: As a curious and slightly wary customer, before dinner, I went to ask if the stracciatella was made with real chocolate pieces or melted chocolate. They confirmed that yes, there were chocolate pieces inside. So after dinner, all happy, I ran to the ice cream shop. Unfortunately, as soon as I tasted it, I immediately understood that it was liquid chocolate (produced by them), the kind that solidifies when it comes into contact with ice cream, creating a consistency that is very different from the classic crunchy and crunchy one that I expected. Furthermore, the general consistency of the ice cream was a little too soft for my taste. On the reception front: out of three people present, I only managed to get a half smile from the one who served me. The welcome was cold and serious. Of course, it was almost closing time (9:00 pm) and perhaps after a long day you are tired, but the fact remains that a minimum of warmth should never be missing. When I asked to put the cream underneath instead of on top, they were still kind and understanding. A small disappointment also for the free melted chocolate under the cone, which is on the menu but in practice you can't see it. In the end I brought the ice cream back, explaining the difference in consistency between what I had been promised and what I found, and they refunded my money. If you are looking for the classic stracciatella with real pieces of chocolate and a welcoming atmosphere, this place might not be the right one.

27/03/2025: Che brutto vedere un locale gestito da piacevolissime e capaci imprenditrici, che ha un crollo del genere. Nell'ambito di un lavoro durato mesi abbiamo frequentato questo locale molto spesso, piatti sempre accattivanti, variegati e di qualità ad un prezzo congruo. Oggi eravamo a Varese ed e' stato inevitabile tornare li a pranzo...prima sorpresa locale semivuoto alle 13, una volta dovevi attendere che si liberassero i tavoli....nessun menu con i prezzi ma una delle proprietarie che ti racconta il menu del giorno...e proprio ti racconta perché sul pollo" ruspante " esagera un po' troppo, prima nel lodarlo e poi nel conto. Pochissima scelta nei primi al punto che ho chiesto delle orecchiette e mi hanno portato delle tagliatelle che evidentemente hanno cotto insieme a quelle del mio commensale. (Tra l'altro sono le 20,16 e non le ho ancora digerite) . Ci sarebbe molto altro da,aggiungere ma non voglio tediare nessuno, mi limito a dire che il ricordo era quello di un eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo, oggi lo ritengo pessimo , 81 Euro 2 primi e 2 polli "nostrani" con purè un acqua e due calici venduti come "riserva". Il tutto su un tavolino con tovaglie di carta ....oggi il prezzo corretto poteva collocarsi tra i 23/ 25 euro i 40 euro a testa sono stati veramente assurdo anche perche' la qualità di cio' che abbiamo mangiato e bevuto era davvero mediocre. Consiglio di farsi dare il menu con i prezzi prima di ordinare. Per quanto ci riguarda non ci vedranno mai più...peccato

23/03/2025: menù con piatti e descrizioni altisonanti e prezzi alti. aspettative deluse. non un piatto locale ma presenti spaghetti alle vongole (sconsigliati) e zuppa di pesce come gli spaghetti. qualità dell'offerta non adeguata alla location. ho sbagliato a non rimandare subito in cucina i piatti.non ci torneremo

14/02/2025: Pessimo!!! Siamo andati per la cena di San Valentino… disorganizzatissimi! Dopo un’ora e mezza ancora eravamo in attesa del primo. Siamo andati via dall’ esasperazione … e abbiamo anche dovuto pagare 75,00 per un aperitivo ed un secondo della bambina! Sconsigliatissimo!

16/12/2024: ci sono venuta spesso in questo posto. oggi vado di urgenza per utilizzare il bagno, aspetto 5 minuti alla cassa per chiedere le chiavi e gli addetti mi passavano davanti come se non esistessi. a un certo punto la ragazza mi degna di una risposta e non sapeva dove fossero le chiavi perciò dice di chiedere al collega, chiedo e mi viene detto che questo non è un bagno pubblico.

19/06/2025: Caffè Broletto is a great choice for a well-made aperitif in the heart of Varese. The cocktails are good, balanced and well presented, and the atmosphere is relaxed but refined. A pleasant place to stop for a drink and a chat in the center.

25/05/2025: I can only review the summer part that is located on the lakefront of Varese (Gavirate) that I recently discovered and visited 3 times already, a well-kept place with a private structure for children to play. Small cutting board served with the aperitif while the lunch menu is equally varied and good. Average prices, vegan hamburgers and schiacciata very good and also the pasta with ragù (even if 13 euros is a bit too much). Very good cocktails and helpful staff, we will definitely return during the summer period.

14/06/2025: A mandatory break after the tests performed at the Beccaria center, especially if fasting. Recommended.
