07/03/2024: Excellent restaurant with a wide choice of dishes. I had a pizza at midday, I really liked it and it was delivered in a short time despite the restaurant being quite full. Courteous and competent staff.

13/05/2024: Very kind and helpful staff, they managed to find us a place even if we hadn't booked. Very nice and well-kept place and delicious food! The blueberry gnocchi were particularly good and we really appreciated the bitters offered after the coffee, definitely a place I would happily return to!

28/04/2024: Bad management we came for three days and it was enough to never go back again. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, the rooms were poorly furnished and the bathroom had an old tub that didn't even work with the hydromassage and the shower had problems so we called the reception and they didn't send anyone to solve the problem. Then we had a little girl who had fallen ill with a virus and they didn't let us cancel the room a day before and charge us for a day even if we hadn't been there, the little girl stayed in the room without going to dinner but they made us pay the dinner anyway. Really ugly plastic (fake wood) floors in the mountains and low quality of food. The price is super excessive compared to the services.

28/04/2024: They made me pay for the meals even though I didn't eat them because I had a fever, they didn't let me go out a day less than I booked without paying.

20/04/2024: I have known the restaurant for years and as always it is a guarantee of choice of dishes, the tagliatelle with mushrooms are fantastic, and this time I also found the dessert (panna cotta) with an exceptional taste. The kindness of the waiter and all the staff present make this restaurant, with an adjoining shop, my fixed stop.

23/03/2024: Even though we hadn't booked, we were warmly welcomed by the staff of the Gagin restaurant. We started with an appetizer of Valtellina sciatt and bresaola, both excellent. Afterwards we tasted manfrigoli and pizzoccheri, what can I say? Both courses D-I-V-I-N-E! Excellent quality of ingredients and the ladies Chefs really very short! We then continued, now sated, with a taste of a very characteristic second course, the tzigoiner. It exceeded our expectations. We recommend this small but welcoming restaurant, there is a family atmosphere. The waiter in the room was extremely kind and helpful. Ps even the house wine was excellent! 11/01/2024: Ci siamo andati a cena durante la nostra vacanza a Bormio. 4 adulti 1 bambino piccolo e un cane. Personale super disponibile preparato e cordiale. Il menù che cercavamo, piatti tipici, carne buonissima cotta in modo impeccabile, i primi molto gustosi, così come gli antipasti. Salumi e formaggi di produzione propria. Ciliegina sulla torta una piccola rivendita dei loro prodotti. Consigliatissimo.

17/03/2024: We had dinner at the farmhouse, on the recommendation of a colleague and I must say that it was one of the best dinners I have ever had. On Saturdays and Sundays there is a fixed menu, from €40, which includes: appetizer with cured meats, polenta taragna and giardiniera; Valtellina sciat with salad; blueberry gnocchi and pizzoccheri; I spit the forest and taste the cheeses; dessert of your choice, coffee and bitters. Water and house wine included. All really delicious and with generous portions considering all the stuff they carry. Super quick table service and with a very nice girl. The only flaw... The heat. It's not very big and the crowded environment was very hot but apart from this highly recommended place, I would happily go back and bring anyone who wanted to eat typical Valtellina food. I recommend booking in advance because it is always full. Outside there are also animals, in the evening they slept but during the day I think it could be a nice experience for children too.
