Located in a stunning area, it's an excellent starting point for walks and excursions, even with the family.

Excellent, locally sourced food. Simply put, it all in one word: Fantastic.

08/02/2026: Discovered by chance. Very cute inside. The food was really good and excellent value. I want to go back.
24/01/2026: The atmosphere is intimate and very pleasant. In the summer, you can eat outside in the courtyard shaded by wisteria. We ate well, as usual, but most importantly, we felt truly welcomed by the young woman serving. Dessert was a true experience. The zabaglione was freshly prepared before our eyes, a true treat, and the chocolate cake, in my son's opinion, was the best dessert I've ever had.
Just a personal opinion: the pizzoccheri, while delicious, should be greasier! If you're obsessed with cholesterol, you'll want to eat something else. Let's not chase trends. We need to be consistent with gastronomic tradition.

02/02/2026: First time and definitely won't be the last, pamora photogenic above all Bormio, Staff 🔝 especially the girl with curly hair very kind and courteous, welcoming and well-kept place, and then seeing the chef and the owner who passes by the tables and exchanges a few words is the best, congratulations to everyone. 🫶
01/02/2026: We ate at this restaurant last night and had a great time. The service was quick and attentive. The food was good, from the pizza to the desserts, everything was top-quality. It was a positive experience, and we'll gladly return.

Grande attenzione alla stagionalità e alle materie prime del territorio abbinate allo stupore del cliente (in particolare per quanto riguarda i dessert)! Abbinamenti azzeccati, sia nei cibi, che nei vini! Noi abbiamo optato per un menù degustazione a sorpresa dello chef, il quale è stato veramente un'esperienza, più che una cena! Torneremo sicuramente appena ripasseremo dalla Valtellina!
05/07/2025: Location caratteristica è molto curata in ogni dettaglio . Posizione spettacolare accanto ad un torrente fresco, immersa nella natura, una vera oasi di pace!! Cena ottima, con piatti tipici ma anche alternative gourmet molto gradite. Colazione divina con pane burro e marmellata, bresaola, formaggi e dolci di ogni tipo. Una coccola!!!

22/02/2026: A true refuge with hearty, traditional dishes at a great price! Everything is delicious! I recommend booking! In winter, it can be reached via a 1-hour 20-minute trail.
16/02/2026: This refuge is always very popular, and rightly so. With little effort and in any season, you can reach a place with a fantastic, open view. The management is very friendly, and the food is truly excellent. We skied up and down along the road, as the slopes are not very deep enough for powder skiing.

21/02/2026: A few days ago, I ordered a tuna pizza with a gluten-free crust because I have a family member with a severe gluten intolerance. After eating the pizza, half an hour later, the person in question became very ill. Now, anyone who prepares gluten-free products must either do so seriously and responsibly, or they should give up if they're not capable. People's health shouldn't be trifled with. Never again!!!

The service was fantastic, and the food was excellent.
They made a great impression, and I would definitely eat there again.

Recommended by a friend, four of us stopped for a very hungry Sunday lunch. We were welcomed with friendly hospitality and rediscovered the flavors and values of the mountains: handmade dishes, generous portions, and fantastic service. The grand finale was with the owner who delighted us with his complimentary sweets and amaro! A must-stop every time we pass through Madesimo from now on!
04/01/2026: Excellent mountain cuisine, carefully prepared, balanced, and generous portions. Courtesy and hospitality. The location on the main road is not to be missed. Absolutely worth it.

25/09/2025: We came today with our dog. The staff was very kind and helpful; we had excellent polenta for lunch, followed by a delicious buckwheat cake.
Despite my dog's constant barking, the owner remained friendly and kind.
Highly recommended refuge in a beautiful valley with high-quality service and food.
I can only give it 5 stars.
