06/10/2025: The service was good, the atmosphere was nice, but the food fell far short of expectations. Maybe we were unlucky, but nothing about the five courses we tried impressed us; quite the opposite, in fact.

18/09/2025: I went there with friends to eat shut and pizzoccheri after a mushroom-hunting trip. Family-run hotel, traditional furnishings, local cuisine, hearty dishes, and reasonable prices. The surrounding setting is very beautiful. The road may not be the best. Highly recommended!

28/09/2025: Excellent restaurant, definitely a touristy one, but the one-course meal concept is very clever. The staff is very attentive, fast, and organized. The coffee is superb, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Well done, highly recommended.

24/09/2025: Great restaurant, with good starter, pasta, and meat options. Use of local meats and fresh ingredients. The wine list is very complete as the restaurant is associated with a wine shop.

06/10/2025: I definitely recommend making a reservation. The restaurant was fully booked even though it was a weekday, and if I hadn't made a reservation, my wife and I wouldn't have gotten a table. I highly recommend this place. If you have a dog, remember to muzzle it, otherwise it won't be allowed in.

05/10/2025: A cool, sunny October day, a nice warm lunch is in order. Lo Scoiattolo welcomes us to its lovely veranda overlooking the mountains. We begin lunch with taroz and sciatt (perfect, piping hot and soft inside), followed by tagliatelle with fresh mushrooms and a minestrone. Also available are blueberry gnocchi with chanterelles, steamed mixed vegetables, and barley and grain soup. Excellent service, very fast (despite the busy restaurant), friendly, and reasonably priced. We'll be back (also for the homemade desserts).

12/07/2025: Personale cortese ed efficiente, posto caratteristico, curato e pulito, piatti buonissimi e bellissimi! Grande attenzione alla stagionalità e alle materie prime del territorio abbinate allo stupore del cliente (in particolare per quanto riguarda i dessert)! Abbinamenti azzeccati, sia nei cibi, che nei vini! Noi abbiamo optato per un menù degustazione a sorpresa dello chef, il quale è stato veramente un'esperienza, più che una cena! Torneremo sicuramente appena ripasseremo dalla Valtellina!

05/07/2025: Location caratteristica è molto curata in ogni dettaglio . Posizione spettacolare accanto ad un torrente fresco, immersa nella natura, una vera oasi di pace!! Cena ottima, con piatti tipici ma anche alternative gourmet molto gradite. Colazione divina con pane burro e marmellata, bresaola, formaggi e dolci di ogni tipo. Una coccola!!!

17/10/2025: Negative… After four times ordering the same ice cream, the woman didn't know how to make a cone. I get a grumpy response: "The consistency means you can't make a cone. What does that matter to you?" The customer should be happy and satisfied. Give her a crash course and some customer training, please.

07/10/2025: Top-notch atmosphere, super professional and friendly staff, top-notch cuisine, spacious and clean room (to be picky, the "Fiordaliso" room lacks a proper closet)....and the visit to the farm is an added bonus, I'll be back 🔝

23/06/2025: Very nice and well-kept place. Friendly staff. Gluten-free pizza EXCELLENT, attentive service, they even brought me breadsticks while I was waiting.

11/10/2025: The tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffle cream were spectacular! The polenta was also excellent.

02/10/2025: A pizzeria and restaurant serving traditional Valtellina specialties and pizzas, located in the square featuring the Sanctuary and—a little further on—the frequent passage of the Bernina Express. Pizzoccheri (buckwheat flour), sciatt (fried cheese fritters on a bed of chicory), gnocchi, egg pasta, dishes featuring forest ingredients, and pizzas are all highly seasoned and high in fat.

08/10/2025: Very friendly owners and good food. Unfortunately, they don't speak English, but they try very hard to understand you, and with Google Translate, it works well.
