11/04/2026: Excellent experience! We were guests of family for Easter lunch, tempted by the (rare) à la carte menu, which proved to be an added bonus. The menu was beautiful, and all the dishes were delicious. The restaurant is spacious, but the tables are well-spaced, and the atmosphere is quiet and not noisy. The service was efficient despite the small, family-like staff. The prices were truly excellent, offering excellent value for money! Congratulations.

29/03/2026: Since we discovered it (a few years ago), we've been happy to return for special occasions, but not only... Excellent food, made with high-quality ingredients that are never trivialized; on the contrary, they're enhanced by the chef's excellent skills. The staff is very attentive, friendly, and highly knowledgeable! The selection of wines and liqueurs is top-notch (for the latter, there's a selection and uniqueness that I haven't found anywhere else to date). An excellent place, and for me (us), a reference!

14/01/2026: We stopped during the week for a business lunch. The atmosphere was simple and welcoming, like the trattorias of old, run by friendly and experienced ladies! The staff was friendly, kind, and helpful. The business lunch menu offered three choices of first courses, three second courses, and three side dishes. The quality was good, especially their famous risottos. Service wasn't the fastest, but that's justified by the large number of seats. I found parking with a parking disc in the lot in front of the restaurant. If I was helpful, please leave a like! 👍🏼☺

12/05/2026: Ideal for a quick, unpretentious lunch. Four starters and four main courses to choose from, fast service, and average food. The manager is always pissed off but quickly manages to seat people. With a cool, lapidary demeanor and a burst of anger, she's always ready and on point, determined to get you seated as quickly as possible, so "the sooner you sit down, the sooner you get out of my way."

24/04/2026: Disgusted to say the least. The impression you get as soon as you walk in the door is that, well, I'll overlook it, not even half a response to my greeting of "Hi, good morning, could you make me a coffee?" They throw me a cup that to say dirty would be an understatement, the pieces stuck together, holy shit... I thank you anyway and still without receiving a response... if you're disgusted by your job, don't do it, a smile instead of that pissed off face would help.

07/05/2026: We wanted to introduce some friends from Belgium to authentic Brianza cuisine, and, following a recommendation, we opted for this historic Monza restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant, with exposed brick and beautifully accented arches. Service was prompt and adequate, although the bread wasn't particularly fragrant. As for the appetizers, there's nothing to complain about about the quality of the Montevecchia cheeses, served on a thin layer of oil that isn't particularly fragrant. The charcuterie board is basic in quantity, but the ingredients are good. We had some concerns about the first courses: the risotto alla Monzese and the risotto alla Milanese, well-creamed but with slightly too soft grains, were identical in base, with the only difference being two pieces of sausage placed on top in the former. The ossobuco was more disappointing: the meat was rather dry; the gremolada was missing (perhaps a choice by the chef), and the sauce resembled that used to season the risotto sausages, resulting in a lack of character. The desserts were good, the classics. I expected the traditional torta paesana (country cake) as per the menu, but I had to settle for a Kraut-style Sacher torte. Overall, it was a decent experience, appreciated by the foreign guests, but a little less so by me, a native of Brianza, who was hoping to find a special place, especially considering my expectations tied to tradition.

25/04/2026: I ate a fantastic puccia... great competition to the ones in Puglia... good value for money too... the pizza was also really good, with a light dough...

25/04/2026: We ordered a takeout mixed fried food with battered vegetables and ribs. The fried food was overcooked and dry, so cooked that it shrank, and the battered vegetables were very soft. The ribs were mostly fatty. We couldn't decide whether to order the pizza because, as often happens, it was either burned or they forgot the toppings. In short, a disappointment.

27/02/2026: Light and lactose-free lunch, delicious, I even mopped up the bread 😋. Top-notch courtesy and service 🔝. Highly recommended.

28/12/2025: A splendid wine shop in every way. Excellent wine selection, with refined labels and always spot-on recommendations. The atmosphere is refined, welcoming, and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. A must-visit for anyone who truly loves good wine. Highly recommended.

21/05/2026: If you enjoy coffee, this is a must visit in SLC. I drop by every time I am in SLC and John never disappoints. Best espresso I ever have every time. John is also incredibly knowledgeable and is a master of his craft. (P.S. John I got a photo of you back in 2022 at the old location - don't think I have had a chance to share it with you.)

24/03/2026: A well-stocked pastry shop with a wide selection of sweet and savory treats. I tried the savory treats, and the Apulian focaccia was excellent; as a native of Puglia, I loved it. The cappuccino was also delicious. We'll definitely be back. Next time, try desserts.
