15/05/2026: I thought I'd seen the most disconcerting thing in the restaurant business. But last night, at Trattoria Basilio in Vimercate (Piazza Castellana, 1), I witnessed and experienced one of the most horrendous dinners I've ever had. Very poor food, a barely decent atmosphere, indecent wine, and temporary service, with the cook (I don't want to call him a chef) showing up in dirty clothes, creating a simple, rustic atmosphere, which in this case is indecent. What surprised me most was how such an establishment is celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2026 and how it has received such positive comments from patrons. A piece of sincere advice: people, stay away from this trattoria, which even charged me 30 euros yesterday.

17/05/2026: The hardest thing to do in a restaurant is to be taken for a ride, and today you did just that. I booked well in advance for Sunday lunch, showed up at the appointed time, and they started off with, "We're only having pizza today." Didn't they tell you that when you booked? Too bad it was him on the phone and he didn't tell us anything.

08/01/2026: I completely forgot to take a picture of the pizza as soon as I saw it! The pizza is so good, it's gone before it even gets cold! Light dough, top-notch ingredients, and such a friendly staff that you'd want to order another pizza just to stay a little longer. A total pass!

Another positive note was the staff: everyone was very kind, smiling, and helpful. The service was quick and attentive. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and excellent value. I recommend it and will definitely be back!

01/12/2025: We decided to stop by this place with friends for a bite to eat. We ordered a hamburger sandwich with fries, and some pizzas. The wait was really short and the food was fantastic. The sandwich arrived hot, filled with burger, lettuce, tomatoes, sauce, and cheddar cheese—a real treat for the palate. The pizzas were fantastic and also super fast!!! The staff was really friendly, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. I'll definitely be back often to visit Margherita (the owner), who was a real treasure. I can't give anything but 5 stars. I felt at home ❤️

30/12/2025: Terrible experience. After booking 10 days in advance, they wanted to seat four of us at a table that was too small for two. When we asked for a larger table (which was also free in the dining room), they led us into a corridor under a tent, amidst general din and annoying infrared heating. Dirty napkins and holes. The food was average considering the price. Paradoxically, when we left, the table for four in the dining room was still empty. Never again.
