If you are really into espresso this is a great spot. If you’ve ever ordered a macchiato at Starbucks this might not be for you.

Food: This is some of the best coffee I’ve had. The experience was really cool because you get to watch him make the coffee using the siphon method. He explained the history and how it works, as well as why it’s widely recognized as the best way to make specialty coffee and actually get a clean cup and taste all the notes. It takes about 30-45 mins from when he serves you the coffee to when you finish it. Part of the experience is to see how the flavor notes change as the coffee decreases in temperature – something I’ve never thought of but can definitely attest to its truthfulness. Service: The owner is extremely knowledgeable in his craft – one of the smartest coffee aficionados I’ve ever met, and honestly probably ever will meet! That said, as we were asking him questions, his answers came across as extremely arrogant and long-winded. His plethora of knowledge seemed to make him “better” than anyone else. Look, I get it. You’re probably the best at brewing siphon coffee; great. That doesn’t mean you need to be boastful and undermining. Atmosphere: Honestly, nothing special here. The place is really small, you can sit down and do the tasting experience, or you can come in and order something to go. The place isn’t the cleanest or most organized. Bathroom wasn’t very clean and was out of soap. Although the owner makes excellent coffee, he seems to throw other things to the wayside like cleanliness and guest experience.

Best Iced latte I tried in SLC!! Place is very lowkey but owners are friendly and so passionate about coffee. I will keep coming back :)

Best coffee in downtown, owner is very friendly and passionate about making coffee. Selection of music and the space makes it very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

It is quite rare to encounter people that have truly honed their craft. This place is a reflection of true passion and skill. My husband brews at home and John was kind enough to share his vast knowledge, offer advice, and humble him where he needed it. 😂 We truly had a great and memorable experience and are looking forward to visiting again soon. ♡♡♡

The ultimate coffee shop for coffee enthusiasts, they roast their own specialty coffee.. The owner, John, has been brewing for more than 20 years. So he is very familiar with the complex taste of different coffee beans, i personally have been going here since university days years ago. Amazing

19/07/2025: A very beautiful place in the Parma lowlands. Attentive and friendly service. The food isn't overly elaborate, but it's truly sublime. I arrived late and asked for advice; I couldn't have made a wiser decision. The marinated chicken with vegetables was a unique delicacy. I haven't eaten such good meat in ages. The prices are more than fair.
24/06/2025: The first one was good. After several attempts, we managed to get in. The fried cake and cured meats were good. The gnocchi in broth were delicious. The second one was also good. The culatello was good. The tortelli were also good. The Bargnolino was ok. The price was a bit high. We returned and I tried the anolini with stew in broth. They had nothing to do with the traditional Pramsana anolini. The tortelli with herbs and tagliolini with culatello were good. The desserts were good, the homemade Bargnolino was good. Another evening. On the night of the ruzada in San Svan. Mixed appetizer of cured meats and fried cake, followed by parmesan with onions in balsamic vinegar. All very good. Trio of tortelli with potatoes and culatello, and the star of the evening was ricotta and herb tortelli. Dulcis in fundo: sbrisolona with mascarpone. The end with Bargnolino and Tuscan cheese. A very pleasant evening with background music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Well done, Beatrice.

24/02/2026: Beautiful place in Barlassina, staff that is truly worth it... from Luca the owner, beautiful person, very nice and fun... the girls at the bar and in the dining room are always smiling, polite and kind... excellent food and super cocktails... we've been there twice but we will definitely be back... thanks guys, keep it up 🥰
