11/04/2025: Spent a beautiful day at the Cascina Lorenzo farmhouse. Beautiful location with a magnificent view of Lake Iseo. All very good: the cold cuts, the first courses of fresh handmade homemade pasta, as well as the desserts. The wines they produce are good. the restaurant retains all the tone and style of the local tradition.

17/06/2025: The wild salmon ordered was completely covered in vinegar. Disappointment! For the bottle of wine ordered we had to ask for the bucket with ice. Too bad

08/06/2025: I have been coming here for a few years and have always eaten well but on Thursday evening, I ordered two swordfish skewers with vegetables, they were inedible, small pieces of dried out fish with no flavour, dry and I honestly couldn't understand where the vegetables were. The smell of the food was also nauseating, as if they had been reheated over and over again. We reported this to the waitress who took the dishes back. We settled for two seafood salads and that was it.

11/07/2025: A refuge with a beautiful view of the Northern Grigna (Grignone) and Southern Grigna (Grignetta). The refuge's strong point, I'd say, is the food. The polenta with mushrooms and the cheese platter were excellent. I haven't seen the rooms, however. The location, however, isn't the best; there are no paths or meadows around, just a few tables and a small patch of meadow just below the refuge. The refuge is a little lower (about 70-80 meters in elevation, if I'm not mistaken) than the path that leads from Piani di Bobbio to Rifugio Grassi and Pizzo dei Tre Signori, from the fork just before Passo Del Toro. The path, however, is quite wide (recently widened) and suitable for families. I'm not sure what the path is like for ascending from below (Barzio or Introbio).

29/06/2025: Highly recommended refuge where you can eat excellent pizzoccheri, risotto with sausage and beef stew with polenta. Excellent desserts. Very fast and kind service!

06/06/2025: Dinner in the internal restaurant. Small, a ground floor with little character. Good quality of food. The tagliatelle with wild boar were excellent. The desserts were homemade, but nothing special. Adequate portions. Prices were not cheap. Fast and courteous service. Meal outside was uncomfortable.

08/06/2025: Their schiacciata is always excellent, the waiters are kind and quick to serve and if they can help you they do it willingly. It is always full and for that reason it is very noisy, but for an excellent pizza it is ok.
