29/09/2025: Something has gotten out of hand... probably the large influx of tourists with deep pockets ascending to Brunate by funicular or taxi has meant that even these types of huts, considered rustic and the preserve of a few hikers until 15-20 years ago, are now enjoying a golden age, boasting menus priced like those of a downtown restaurant. Prices that would be partially justified if the refuge were located at 2,000 meters with no access road, but I repeat, "anything goes"... good for them while it lasts... :-)

27/07/2025: Shabby but charming with an absolutely ~spectacular~ view, and ok breakfast as well. For me the smell (especially in the toilettes) and the rats in the walls are the reasons we won’t be coming back.

07/06/2025: Normal place with prices from Briatore's twiga 2 people 2 sunbeds an umbrella 45 euros 1 coffee and a coffee cream 5 euros So stay away it's not a 45 euro place in Origgio

19/08/2025: Good ice cream, but overpriced! I asked for a two-flavor cone without dairy because I'm intolerant, and then when I got the receipt, the bitter truth! €4 + €1.30 for a vegan cone! Most ice cream shops always have dairy-free cones! Charging that much for a cone is a rip-off!

08/07/2025: I bought a tub of gelato and was really pleased! The gelato was delicious and you could taste it was made with quality ingredients. The staff was also friendly and helpful. A great experience, I'll definitely be back!

18/10/2025: An incomprehensible place, but for €15 you can eat and drink, I can't complain. The aperitif with a platter (pictured for three people) was, to say the least, but also quite a lot, jovial and gargantuan. Nothing to make you say "hello, man, try this, the best thing in the world," but still, the delight isn't under the sidewalk. A wave of compassion. Wait. Recommended.

28/05/2025: They don't have a POS in 2025, madness! I was out on my bike with my cell phone and asked for a coffee and croissant, making it clear that I would pay with my cell phone, and they told me that THEY DON'T HAVE A POS. In 2025, it speaks for itself Period

26/05/2025: I often stop by for breakfast, and I have to say the cappuccino and brioche are truly excellent... Perfect place to bring kids (there's a safe and cute outdoor area).

11/11/2025: What's left of the pre-restoration Biffi? Very little, prices are now literally outrageous. Maybe the ownership has changed, maybe not, maybe they've lost their minds. Many are saying this now, but Biffi doesn't seem to care. P.S. For the record: 1 toasted sandwich, 2 cocktails, and a tomato juice: 32 euros. Need more?

09/11/2025: €18.50 for two cappuccinos and three pastries. The cappuccinos were €5 each. Shameful, they weren't even good enough to justify the price. Avoid with the utmost caution.

21/10/2025: Service staff were very unfriendly... they brought the wrong order, we pointed out that it was wrong... the staff reacted very arrogantly and instead of apologizing, they were very unfriendly.

08/10/2025: Pros: -Patio outside was very nice outside at 4p on a Wed. Music was very pleasant and gave a relaxing vibe to people watch. -Pizzas were good. -Allergens are marked on the menu, which I appreciated. Cons: -This felt overpriced compared to the quality of other places we have tried elsewhere. -Service was terrible. Most of the wait staff was pleasant, but we waited quite a while for anyone to return to get our order and similarly a long time for to find someone to checkout. The coperto fee automatically was charged, so it seemed obvious they didn't care. I couldn't tell if they were too busy tending to the entire block hence understaffed? Our waiter disappeared, and others walked by without acknowledging. Would have ordered another glass of wine or dessert, but no one came back between the order, a runner bringing food, and us flagging a busser down to leave.

02/05/2025: Delizioso e tranquillo bar dove faccio spesso pausa pranzo. Strepitose le insalate e ottime le pietanze calde/fredde proposte. Prezzi super competitivi. Proprietari simpatici e gentili. Qui mi sento a casa!!! Consigliatissimo
