23/03/2025: Situated right on the Varesina state road, this elegant establishment stands behind a sumptuous wrought-iron gate. This restaurant is housed in a sumptuous residence dating back to the second half of the 19th century. The restaurant offers a captivating blend of history and modernity. Guests are greeted formally by a very gracious staff member, who offers an unusual and highly appreciated tasting of the owners' own olive oil produced in the Val d'Orcia. A tasty and unexpected aperitif was also offered, a delightful prelude to a wonderful dinner. The chef, worthy of the most renowned Michelin-starred restaurants, is dedicated to satisfying the most sophisticated palates with delicate dishes that are both visually delightful and truly enchanting. White reigns supreme, dominating both the interior dining room and the outdoor patio, contrasting here with the pleasantly dated flooring featuring dark brown accents. The establishment is surrounded by greenery, so much so that from the outside, the presence of the road is almost forgotten. My need for gluten- and lactose-free cuisine was fully met without the slightest hesitation, without compromising the flavor or beauty of the dishes. There is free parking outside on the opposite side of the street, and parking is available inside the building. There are three steps to the entrance. I recommend a small ramp for wheelchair users and strollers, if you don't have one. For anyone looking for a quiet, elegant, and romantic location, I highly recommend it. 01/10/2025: This is one of my favourite bars in the world. A timeless classic, which is run by a lovely husband and wife. The piadine was fantastic, the drinks are great and the customers are local. We have been in May, September, and will be back at the end of the year! I simply love the atmosphere

28/09/2025: We stayed at the Apparthotel San Sivino in mid-September and had breakfast there every morning. For €15, there's a good breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, sausage, fruit salad, yogurt, etc. Pretty good coffee is included, as much as you want – highly recommended. The view, however, is priceless...

08/11/2025: Excellent place to enjoy local and international cuisine. Unpretentious, yet clean and well-maintained, the staff is very friendly and always available. Private and ample parking is available. A great stop if you're hungry.

20/08/2025: Nice old fashioned family hotel that reminded us of our stays in hotels in the 1970’s as kids with our parents. Nice staff. Room left us sleepless unfortunately by the heavy car sounds from the street the hotel stands next. Sounds even penetrate through a closed window. We arrived late and could eat something, which was really nice. Bathroom was ok.

02/11/2025: Poor quality food. We asked for sautéed vegetables and they served them boiled. The lasagna was made with sour tomato sauce. The pizza was mediocre. You pay €3.50 per person for a cover charge, but you get cheap oil and rubbery bread.

02/11/2025: Had a fantastic pizza and tiramisu there! Staff were very friendly and quick.

19/10/2025: The food was very good, the atmosphere was welcoming. The prices were quite high, and we weren't offered a menu, so it was quite difficult to choose. The menu was explained verbally, so by the time the waiter got to the end of the list, we almost forgot what was on offer at the beginning. So, choosing the dishes was a bit of a gamble. The service was also quite slow; we had to wait quite a while for our orders to arrive. We were just passing through, but if we were to find ourselves in the area, we definitely wouldn't return, nor would we recommend it.

27/07/2025: If you're looking for excellent gourmet pizza in the Brescia area, you're sure to find something here, and the location is very beautiful. They also have a small, attractive outdoor area, but it's not usable in hot weather.

21/10/2025: The Naviglio Restaurant is a GUARANTEE, and every time we return, we feel "right at home." Friendliness, prompt service, and excellent, perfectly cooked food are their strengths. Highly recommended, whether for a lunch break or an excellent dinner alone or with friends.

16/10/2025: Poor food and service. On the other hand, for 7 euros, you can't expect more. The quality is quite different. If you want a quality lunch, you can find better for 5 or 6 euros more.

14/10/2025: A good restaurant with a fixed-price menu. Despite the large number of customers, service was quick. We ate for €9 each and had a pretty good meal. Parking is available nearby.

22/06/2025: A regular stop for years, delicious, back again tonight, Sofi always kind and helpful, salmon tartar with normal and spectacular Venere rice and many other excellent dishes. From the outside it's not the usual sushi, very Easy style but very good quality, we will continue to go there always.

09/10/2025: The first thing to say about Cicinin is that the food is good and the appetizers are healthy, meaning they're freshly prepared in the restaurant's kitchen and include pizza made by the chef, stuffed piadinas, and other freshly prepared appetizers. Plus, there's something new every day, and the appetizer menu changes too. I admit I can't stand the rice salads made with condiriso that you're usually served in Milanese bars for an aperitif. I've always avoided them like the plague. Cicinin's cuisine is also very refined; I don't think I've ever seen anyone complain about the risotto with ossobuco, which was truly perfect (as a Milanese would say). The owners are very kind, and the atmosphere is very friendly, almost affectionate, towards the regulars. Also recommended for its beautiful location on Via Corsico, opposite the side entrance of the church of Santa Maria sul Naviglio. In the evening, in the darkness, you feel like you're back in 19th-century Milan.
