28/08/2024: Excellent residence. Optimal position and relaxation. The managers are kind and attentive to customer needs.
21/08/2024: We stayed here for a week and we really liked it. The facility is beautifully designed. The apartments are clean and well equipped. They have air conditioning. Very good when it is very hot outside. The pool offers plenty of space and is clean. There is a toddler area and normal pool. The owners are nice and very helpful. There is also a charging station on site for electric car owners. I suspect it's a 50 kW. It works best with the Enel X-Way app.
From Residence Borgomare you can easily make trips to Monaco or Nice (much nicer!!!).

25/08/2024: I would have liked to give 5 stars but there is a but...
Dinner booked for 2 couples, tasted like God, I swear all 4 of us were satisfied beyond expectations. Too good tuna appetizer, beef tar tar, chicken tentacle and salmon sashimi all really good for a high level restaurant. Paired with a good wine.
The biggest flaw, with great disappointment, is to see the waiters at a restaurant like this with two tables next to ours taking their break, smoking cigarettes and then getting up to serve the tables as if nothing had happened. I found the whole thing unprofessional. Without taking away the fact that I will return and recommend it to everyone.
04/07/2024: Amazing place to eat, food costs 10-20€ per person. The rabbit with potatoes is the restaraunts signature dish and it shows that with it's flavor and appetizing look. The rizotto was amazing aswell. My whole family really liked it.

08/07/2024: We went here for a dinner while staying at Lo Zafferano. Amazing food and an incredibly friendly host that spoke great English and even German! The cheese/meat platter is to die for (especially the honey). Would always come again, thanks for having us.
02/06/2024: Oggi a pranzo abbiamo provato una ricetta antica, il polpo degli zavorristi, su consiglio del personale di sala. Ottimo.
Come anche gli altri piatti provati: acciughe ripiene, fettuccine alla borragine con sugo di gamberi e i calamari con le trombette.
Torniamo in questo ristorante quando siamo ad Albenga e siamo sempre stati soddisfatti della qualità delle materie prime e dalla gentilezza delle proprietarie.

02/07/2024: Agile working lunch. Careful and varied cuisine, I am satisfied. I appreciated the sautéed courgettes with tomatoes, delicate but tasty. Even among the desserts, a wide choice. I'll be back.

10/08/2024: Everything at the top...we were welcomed with a smile and extreme kindness, both from the owners and the staff, the place is a beautiful jewel in the heart of Albenga and the food exquisite, with excellent quality raw materials and original dishes with a unique taste The choice of wines offered by the cellar is excellent... in short, thank you very much for the splendid evening to Re Carciofo and his staff!!!
06/08/2024: Now a regular customer and I can confirm hands down that it is the best place in Albenga; elegance, kindness and friendliness distinguish the fantastic artichoke king, which offers the possibility of spending an evening with an aperitif or dinner. The food is exceptional, the king's loaf of bread and the quality of the cheeses and cured meats are highly recommended, the staff is more than kind and the owner is uniquely friendly. Nonetheless, I would like to underline that the real extra something is the beauty of the place, a square of authentic beauty adorned as best as it could be.
Truly congratulations to Enzo for giving Albenga such a beautiful place.
Highly recommended!!!

31/07/2024: What can I say, scialatielli al scoglio is one of the strong dishes of the place, it was impossible not to make the so-called "SCARPETTA" like the good Sicilian that I am 😁.
I wasn't thrilled with the dessert, but it was my fault because they told me it wasn't made by them, but when you have cravings, no one can stop you 😜.
The manager was very kind and friendly, the place was positioned so as to have a very beautiful panoramic view of the sea.
Now when we go to this area we now have a permanent place because the SCIALIATELLI are the SCIALIATELLI and the kilometers we travel are rewarded by an excellent dish waiting for us!
28/07/2024: Rossella the owner is an excellent cook! Never eaten a Scialatiello like this, not even in Naples. There must be a reason why we did 400 km in 1 day

15/08/2024: Posto incantevole all'interno del centro storico. Ma ciò che lo caratterizza di più è la qualità del cibo per le specialità liguri. Farinata molto buona e la pizza era eccezionale, croccante ma morbida nel contempo.
