30/10/2025: Magnificent place. We discovered it last year for its beach service, and we loved it so much that we've returned several times this year, especially for evening aperitifs. The cocktails are delicious, as are the appetizers, the freshly made pizza, and especially the fried fish. We already know where to go next summer!

21/06/2026: I stayed at this hotel and was very satisfied. The location is excellent, just steps from the sea, ideal for those who want to enjoy the beach and the view without having to use a car. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and professional, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for relaxation, comfort, and a splendid seaside location. I will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
18/05/2026: We had a truly fantastic stay. The property is welcoming, meticulously maintained, and equipped with all the comforts you need to feel right at home. The location is excellent, perfect for easily reaching both the sea and the historic center.

Soft crust, excellent dough, high-quality ingredients.
13/09/2025: Nice place, the fried food was a bit dark, and the spaghetti with clams didn't blend well with the sauce. The sea bass was good, but the side dishes were sparse.

14/08/2026: I was there two days ago, and I had a mojito that tasted of everything except rum. You could smell the mint and soda, but what about the rum? Plus, they didn't add sugar, which increases the alcohol content. I've been a bartender for 10 years, and it was just soda, just to make it more palatable. They're clever!
Indecent appetizers. For an aperitif, you'd be better off choosing other places.
I strongly advise against it, and I definitely won't be returning.
I should add that we also had a considerable wait to be served... ugh...
Never again.
20/07/2026: I hate to write bad reviews, but in this case I'd say it was more than deserved.
Aperitif for €8, quality far above average, served with a bowl of chips.
We try to wait for something else to arrive, but nothing.
I try to ask, and the waitress tells me she'll bring whatever they tell her to bring.
It looks like the fridge is broken.
Okay, too bad they took the full amount.
Anything can happen. In these cases, I think: a little discount and they'll forget the fridge, like what happened to us.

13/07/2026: My first experience at this self-service restaurant, located inside the shopping center. I had a delicious plate of trofie with pesto, followed by excellent barbecue chicken with baked potatoes. The quality of the ingredients is good, and they're also recommended for vegetarians.
I'll definitely be back to try their giant pizza.
11/07/2026: I had lunch at the Dolce Salato self-service restaurant at the Coop in Albenga and was truly pleasantly surprised.
The food: The dishes are exceptionally good, fresh, and well-prepared. There's a nice variety, allowing you to grab a quick lunch without sacrificing quality and flavor. Excellent value.
The staff is courteous, smiling, and helpful—an important detail that creates a welcoming atmosphere and makes you want to return.
Highly recommended for a quick, tasty lunch break.

04/07/2026: Honestly. The farinata was edible. The pizza was inedible. Kilos of raw onion on the pizza, raw steak-like salami, and soggy, soggy dough. After less than three bites, I left it all. When I pointed out that it was inedible, they wanted to reheat it. That would have burned it! The farinata was decent, though not at all Ligurian. The desserts seemed pre-packaged from the supermarket. In the end, I even paid for my uneaten pizza... truly embarrassing! Not even the gesture of saying, "Madam, since you didn't eat it, I'll give you a discount!" Anyway, I don't recommend it 100%.
I forgot: the bathroom was extremely dirty, smelly, and not even ventilated.
04/07/2026: A truly wonderful experience at this osteria. Sitting at a shaded outdoor table on a very hot day, our first impression was very positive. In short, the bruschetta we ordered was both large and flavorful. The Napoli pizza with its onions was truly tasty and crispy. Not to mention the sorbet was absolutely delicious. To top it all off, the waitress was nice and friendly, the restroom was clean (perhaps a little cramped), the food was very satisfying, and the prices were in line with the cost of living. I will gladly return.

02/06/2026: We had a drink and ordered several portions of fries, but due to a misunderstanding, we received the wrong food (the employee didn't speak English). She then seemed visibly irritated. The service in general was rude. The food was okay.

05/12/2025: The timetable says it closes at 7:00 PM. I went at 4:40 PM, needing a bus ticket, which I couldn't use since I only had a credit card. The girl at the bar was about to close, and even though we'd only asked for a bus ticket, she refused (she also responded rudely, in an arrogant voice, saying we had to bring cash). I REPEAT THAT IT SAYS ONLINE THAT IT CLOSES AT 7:00 PM, AND THIS IS THE ONLY BAR THAT SELLS TICKETS IN PIAZZA DEL POPOLO.
11/10/2025: Nestled within this beautiful and characteristic square, it could stand out. Instead... the Moroccan food and coffee are decidedly unmemorable.

17/02/2026: I don't know where to start... mediocre and unnecessarily overpriced food, but the most disconcerting thing was the rude and inconsiderate staff. We walked in, and even though there weren't many people, they didn't even say hello. As soon as we sat down, the waitress came over, not giving us time to think. All in all, both my wife and I were dissatisfied. As I've heard, the place across the street is far more welcoming in terms of atmosphere and staff.
18/12/2025: The manager was very rude. We felt uncomfortable even just sitting there. This is definitely a place to avoid. The place across the street is much quieter and the staff is friendlier.
