Staff were really nice, and coffee was absolutely fantastic.

17/02/2026: I don't know where to start... mediocre and unnecessarily overpriced food, but the most disconcerting thing was the rude and inconsiderate staff. We walked in, and even though there weren't many people, they didn't even say hello. As soon as we sat down, the waitress came over, not giving us time to think. All in all, both my wife and I were dissatisfied. As I've heard, the place across the street is far more welcoming in terms of atmosphere and staff.
18/12/2025: The manager was very rude. We felt uncomfortable even just sitting there. This is definitely a place to avoid. The place across the street is much quieter and the staff is friendlier.

08/11/2025: Everything was truly delicious: the lamb tagine with prunes, the vegetarian dish with falafel, red bean cream, chickpea and eggplant hummus; the rose-scented desserts and the Turkish coffee. The staff were very friendly, the prices were reasonable, and it was just steps from the center. What more could you ask for?

05/12/2025: The timetable says it closes at 7:00 PM. I went at 4:40 PM, needing a bus ticket, which I couldn't use since I only had a credit card. The girl at the bar was about to close, and even though we'd only asked for a bus ticket, she refused (she also responded rudely, in an arrogant voice, saying we had to bring cash). I REPEAT THAT IT SAYS ONLINE THAT IT CLOSES AT 7:00 PM, AND THIS IS THE ONLY BAR THAT SELLS TICKETS IN PIAZZA DEL POPOLO.
11/10/2025: Nestled within this beautiful and characteristic square, it could stand out. Instead... the Moroccan food and coffee are decidedly unmemorable.

10/02/2026: I would like to point out regarding the reviews of Marco Joker and Mr. Frank, who were seated at the same table at Christmas lunch, that when I booked, I personally asked the lady I corresponded with on WhatsApp, and it was all written and visible what I had to prepare for the children present and whether I had to make a children's menu because I couldn't make any other dishes for Christmas lunch. I was told that only ravioli in bianco or with meat sauce would be fine, and so I did. As for the fact that I didn't list the dishes, they knew very well what was on the menu because it was sent and read by everyone on WhatsApp.
27/12/2025: I'm sharing my experience after a Christmas lunch at this restaurant. I'll start with the fact that for Christmas lunch, the menu choice has to be made weeks in advance, for both adults and children. I'm focusing on the latter, where orders weren't respected, but even worse, they didn't have the ingredients to make them. What's even worse is the fact that the ingredients were nothing but trofie with pesto or penne with tomato sauce. And despite asking if we could have one of the two dishes, in the end we were brought a dish that was saved without any ingredients, with the result that my daughter didn't eat anything. I want to reiterate how the owner was very rude and unprofessional in trying to correct his mistake in any way, really awful.

I booked and arrived a little early. A table right on the beach (it's the lido restaurant), with a splendid view of the island of Bergeggi and Capo Noli, with the bay of Spotorno and Noli itself.
So far, so good.
I ordered fried food (anchovies, shrimp, vegetables, calamari (frozen), and my wife ordered stuffed calamari (frozen).
I don't understand. You have the sea 5 meters away, and you're serving me frozen products!!!!
You charge me 22 euros for fried food! Well, I expect fried food to be delicious and worth returning for. Instead,...,... a soulless fried food (perhaps worth 14 euros).
The calamari (3, actually) was 18 euros, meaningless. Wine (a half bottle of Vermentino) was 13 euros.
The cover charge was 5 euros to finish off on a high note.
Spending a lot and eating well is fine. Spending a lot and leaving disappointed by the absurd prices is NOT.
30/08/2025: It's embarrassing, rude people. Perhaps the right job for them would be to work alone in the archives, away from the public. Terrible, unhelpful, they don't keep separate accounts, and they hang the sign a meter off the ground. How embarrassing.

My visit was truly disappointing. The place is very expensive for what it offers, and the treatment of foreign customers was truly unprofessional. The service is poor, and they show no commitment to treating everyone equally.
I would not recommend it to anyone looking for proper service or even a modicum of respect.

26/04/2025: It was an experience that no one should have to try, first of all we had booked for 8.30 and they gave our table to another family making us wait outside so that one could be freed inside.
Mostly this table was behind the counter and therefore lost from the others, we sat down and saw the menu which was nice but a little poor, we had to wait 40 minutes before a waiter came to take our order.
As soon as we ordered we had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes before they came to our table, mostly we hadn't even ordered something impossible, a plate of trofie with pesto which was missing salt, a mixed fry which they gave to another lady and 3 pizzas.
