29/07/2025: When I go to La Spezia, Bistro del Bastione is my go-to place for breakfast. I like its location on the little square, and I also find both sweet and savory pastries, not frozen.

10/06/2025: It's not the first time I've been to Ambrosia, but this time it's already the second time it's disappointed me. I ordered two sgabei to take away and as soon as I took them they were cold as if they had been there for an hour or at least not made at the moment. It's not for anything else, but paying and finding cold sgabei didn't go down well with me. Once they were much better now they were rubbery and difficult to chew on top of being cold. I didn't like it at all.

23/07/2025: I called the restaurant today, July 23rd, to check if it was open, and double-checked the number (Facebook and Google). The manager said yes. I went to the entrance. "They told me it's closed." This restaurant is difficult to access on foot. Thank you for the unnecessary waste of time and the hassle of getting back. I do not recommend it.

04/07/2025: ...arrivato il mio turno per ritirare il piatto ordinato viene servito il signore dopo di me, pazienza! poi viene servita anche la signora dopo, che fra l'altro aveva ordinato il mio stesso piatto. La signora gentilmente ha fatto presente che c'ero prima io, nonostante ciò l'addetta ha continuato a servirle i suoi ordini .

19/06/2025: I was with colleagues and I must say that, out of a total of 10 people, 9 had severe diarrhea, so the problem is obvious. Too bad because the panigacci were really good. Less cured meats and cheeses. The salami was terrible. I certainly won't go back and I recommend stocking up on Lactic Ferments and Imodium.

13/06/2025: Congratulations on the restyling of the establishment! Finally you can breathe a new air. Tidy beach, clean services, well-positioned umbrellas. And the pizzeria in the evening creates a beautiful convivial atmosphere. We will definitely return.

19/06/2025: Ci era stato consigliato… e purtroppo ci siam fidati! Innanzitutto, ambiente sporco! Pavimenti indecenti e menu unti. Solitamente fotografo tutti i piatti… erano talmente poco invitanti che non ne ho fatta nemmeno una. Frittura mista.. quindi col pesce azzurro “fresco” .. fortunatamente ci siamo accorti che un pesce puzzava di marcio! Il ristorante ci ha detto che può capitare. Arriva il secondo.. calamari alla piastra su un letto di insalata e pomodorini conditi con la cipolla cruda (che non c’entra nulla col pesce!) contorno ovviamente scelto da loro.. i calamari erano amari.. quindi non puliti bene! Ma come si fa???? Dolce.. assaggiano 2 tiramisù.. il pezzo forte della casa! Erano secchi, fatti con la panna, veramente immangiabili. Arriva il momento del conto, nessuna attenzione nonostante il “può capitare”. Queste recensioni così positive sono ingannevoli! Probabilmente trattano bene solo chi dicono loro. Di certo non ci torneremo più.

Locale semplice ma curato, con un’atmosfera intima e un’energia familiare. Appena si entra, si viene accolti da Fiore e Luciano – proprietari attenti e calorosi – che da subito ti mettono a tuo agio con il loro sorriso e disponibilità. Specializzato in pesce fresco, ogni piatto rispecchia tradizione e qualità. Servizio impeccabile: lo staff è gentile e attento ai dettagli, sempre pronto a suggerire piatti e spiegare le peculiarità. Il proprietario si distingue per la sua accoglienza e la capacità di far sentire ogni ospite come a casa. 11/08/2025: Bad experience. The food was good, but the service ruined it! They were unprofessional, they forgot to give us our full menu, and in the end, we couldn't pay because the staff were playing soccer next door. And worst of all, they charged us the wrong price: we had two €6.00 beers and they charged us €8.00 each, and they charged us €3.00 per person for a cover charge, which was €2.50 on the menu. They refunded the €1.00 for the cover charge but not for the beer, claiming the one on the menu was bottled, and they served it to us by the glass 💁🏻‍♀️ - it didn't work, we didn't order by the glass! We won't be back! Stay tuned 🙋🏻‍♀️
