29/10/2025: we absolutely loved this meal!!! learn some basic italian to order your food and enjoy the freshest pasta + sauce combo of your choice. the woman working in the restaurant was kind and warm to us, and watching her prepare our food was super cool. the pasta was the best we had in CT - you don’t need to sit down at a fancy place to enjoy bomb pasta and incredible pesto!! the serving sizes were generous and i loved that you could customize your combo. give them a try, you won’t be disappointed 😊

We ate in the garden and had a very pleasant evening. The price was fair. Congratulations, we'll be back. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had a great time.

02/03/2026: Il Galletto is a historic trattoria in Sarzana, just steps from the Firmafede fortress, making it a convenient choice for those visiting this charming town. The quality-price ratio is truly excellent: the trattoria offers both meat and seafood dishes, with the option of a tasting menu and generous portions. The homemade tortelli with ragù are excellent, as are the sliced beef served hot on stone, and the sgabei, dry and accompanied by excellent cured meats. The staff is friendly and attentive to their guests' needs. It was truly a pleasant discovery. We will definitely be back!

01/11/2025: Embarrassing. Halloween night, they knew they'd packed the place but didn't divide the tables.
The menu was limited, yet the dishes ordered were "sold out" almost immediately. Terrible dishes, by the way.
Some people didn't eat the entire evening.
The restaurant paid for these mistakes by covering most of the bills.
The owner, who we all wanted to meet, left halfway through the evening.
I won't mention the "murder mystery dinner," which is better.
After dinner, we ate yogurt downtown. I'm still hungry, but I'm still laughing.
Well done! Change careers.

We were given an à la carte menu, but it only offered two options compared to those available, and in the end, they didn't even have those.
The options we ordered, which they said were sold out, were notified to us after a 2-hour wait, and they even forgot to let us know.
The service was also terrible; the waiters seemed to be there by chance.
Recommended for those with time to waste and money to throw away.

17/02/2026: Series: Restaurants that deliver what they promise. It's February 13th. They take me to this place known for its focaccia. They're actually very good. The homemade desserts are also good. But everything's a bit predictable, lacking in flair.
The place is very nice. A minus for the ambiance because the spot near the windows was really cold.
Passed.

08/10/2025: We went here our first night after a very stressful day of travel.The food was just Okay. My husband who is not fussy thought it was kinda a tourist trap. Maybe my least favorite meal In Monterosso. There are so many options available so don’t bother.

08/03/2026: If you want to run promotions, you have to do them properly: All-you-can-eat ribs on Sundays, 40 minutes to get a second round after multiple reminders. They didn't even apologize when we pointed out our disappointment and the fact that we were going to get coffee and dessert elsewhere. Not bringing the ribs when they're supposed to is called a scam. So, I'd say one star for the service is even too much.

Homemade cuisine, excellent value for money.
Friendly and professional owner.
Really good grilled meat.
What I really like is that dogs aren't allowed (even though I have one).

06/03/2026: We ate there twice. I'm celiac and I read that they had gluten-free pizza.
The first time, they told me they had run out of gluten-free pizzas and I had to eat meat. I gave them a second chance and they clarified that they no longer make gluten-free pizzas. So I went back to eating meat. The food was good, but under the stars because they don't have a gluten-free option. Just grilled meat.

12/07/2025: Gran selección de pizzas, contamos 68 en el menú. Servicio amable y decoración sin pretensiones. Menos costoso que muchos otros lugares en Levanto, ya que está justo fuera del centro histórico. Popular entre los lugareños y la comida es buena.
11/06/2025: Après avoir crapahuté dans les montagnes, ça fait du bien d'aller manger ici.
Lieu simple et rassurant, on s'y sent à l'aise, tout le monde est gentil et les pizzas sont très bonnes, pour un tarif contenu.

18/12/2025: Excellent restaurant in Portovenere's main square. Dishes are well-prepared, both in quality and quantity. It's lovely in the summer with outdoor seating, though service is a little slow. But I think that when you sit down to eat, you also enjoy the company of your companions.
