15/10/2025: I think this must be the hidden gem of Santa Margherita. The views, the food, the service are all exemplary. Sitting at the window watching the setting sun over the bay is like dinner with a show. The level of service is like service of bygone times, with pride and professionalism. The food celebrates local ingredients without over complication.

01/05/2024: Conoscevo già da tempo il posto, ottima gelateria. Oggi abbiamo mangiato con amici, ci siamo trovati molto bene. Cucina semplice, casalinga, ma molto gustosa. Mi ha sorpreso il secondo vegetariano!!! Personale rapido nel servire, gentile. Torneremo qui domenica prossima

14/09/2025: We came for dinner on September 2nd. We sat down at 9:00 PM, but at 10:00 PM, our pizza still hadn't been placed on the table. When we asked why the delay, the answer was that the staff had stood us up and one of them had gone to a concert, so they asked us if we wanted to leave. It's a shame that, since the kids were really hungry and it was already 10:00 PM, we stayed. I find this long wait truly embarrassing. I want to point out that the place was completely empty! The pizza wasn't very good and was dry. I will never go back!! A review from a week ago was completely identical in its response to the delay. Is this just another excuse you're using to cover up your disorganization? I'm disappointed!

11/09/2025: When you're tired, hungry, or don't feel like cooking... go make yourself a Recco-style pizza (I add tomato sauce...). It's a real treat! A simple, family-run place, a friendly chat, and good products!

10/02/2024: Vicinissima alla stazione, ottime le paste, la crema pasticcera è molto leggera e chiara, direi con poco uovo! Purtroppo sono passata una mattina in settimana e c’era pochissima scelta, la prossima volta spero di trovare più assortimento!

08/01/2024: We live in Genova part-time, in California part-time. When in Genova, Cose Buone is Our Place To Go, whether for a coffee, a lunch, a dinner, a snack, or for apertivo. I go by myself, with my husband, with friends.... The food is wonderful, the staff is exceptional, and the setting is comfortable. I see so many people arrive on cruise ships and eat in the port. I suggest they take the #13 bus for 1.50 euro to Bar Cose Buone for a true Marassi neighborhood experience! (Take stop "214-Moresco 2/Romagnosi") And, if you are missing a hamburger, this is the place in Genova to have one. Plus they have a great assortment of gelato, pastries, and other local goodies to satisfy a sweet tooth. (And, a sparkly clean restroom:-) All in all, you won't be disappointed.

04/11/2025: If you want to enjoy a sandwich with the flavor of the past... come here. Fresh, tasty, exquisite ingredients... although the secret ingredient of this place is the friendliness and professionalism of the legendary chef, Maristella.

07/10/2025: Delicious!!! I always come here for lunch and there's no better choice. Quality food at a very fair price. Try the quiches, panissa, sandwiches, and everything with chicken!! The owner is a character who knows how to cheer you up even on the worst days—she's a role model! Come here, you won't regret it!!
