10/10/2025: We ate the excellent seafood paella for 2 people + a bottle of prosecco and 2 coffees, paid 65.00 euros.
29/09/2025: Terrible experience. Yesterday morning, around 11:40, we went to this bar to order the breakfast option. It's a shame that when we sat down, we were told that the option couldn't be ordered at that time. It's a shame that there were still people having breakfast near our tables. We were told that we had to order a la carte and pay for each item (smart ones). They didn't even offer yogurt. It's a shame that the menu doesn't mention a time for ordering the option. After pointing it out, we were told that if we'd wanted, they would have made us a menu anyway. On top of that, the pancakes, I assume, were pre-packaged and not even heated. I had asked for them to be without fruit, just with honey, but instead there was a banana in the middle... When we went to pay, we were told that given the mistake, they would give us a discount (which wasn't true because the bill was €12.40, which had already been checked using the QR code to pay at the table. SPOILER: €12.40 was €12.40 left).
€6 pancakes, €1.50 coffee, €0.50 glass of water, €4.40 cappuccino. I don't see the discount, so adding insult to injury! Truly shameful, awful!

12/10/2025: What can I say?...doing a job where I travel every corner of the region...from the most remote mountaintop spot to the busiest city center...I can definitely tell you that finding places like this where the friendly service, the quality of the food, and the value for money are paramount...with the authenticity and simplicity of the service making the taste of the food even more enjoyable and the overall experience that can only leave you wanting to RETURN!...I just want to say.....
THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF.
I hope you are an example to all those places where the customer is just a number...
A habit that has now become too annoying for those who know the value of the word PROFESSIONALISM!

08/10/2025: On our last night in Santa Margherita Ligure, we went to La Cesarina and it was just an incredible experience. Matteo designed the place to feel like home with couches, great lighting, nice music, and adorable pictures of his 8 dogs. The food was sooooo good (highly recommend the Ravioli with Veal, easily my favorite pasta dish in Italy). It’s a little down the road from the shore, so try to make it there for the experience!

21/09/2025: Great and simple, no unnecessary decoration, just good food. The restaurant looks very authentic, the terrace is nice but simple, too. The atmosphere inside could be a lot cosier if the light would be slightly dimmed.
The food is really good and at fair costs.

31/08/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant while strolling around Varazze and decided to book for dinner that evening.
We all had seafood dishes, and I must say the quality was good: the octopus was very tender and flavorful, and the fried calamari with vegetables was also excellent.
The service was very fast, and the waitresses were very friendly.
The bill was fair considering it's a seaside spot.
19/08/2025: I'm sorry to say that it was Sunday evening we ate two pizzas, if you can say that, terrible, it seemed like that dough made at the last minute in the supermarket boxes, very ugly, you can't offer something like this in a pizzeria. The staff was kind and quick, I recommend changing pizza chef!!!

10/08/2025: I've been coming here for years because it's a surefire hit. The atmosphere is friendly and family-friendly. The service is very friendly, and above all, the food is excellent. A special mention goes to the grilled meats. You have to see and eat them to believe it!

19/10/2025: It's great cafe if you want to sit down, chill and observe the towns folks running their errands. It is smaller cafe, not a lot of tables outside and most of them were reserved for lunch hour. Still they tried their best to sit us down. They brought us drinks and they were so friendly to shower us with complimentary snacks. Bonus points from me! Beer was good, Aperol was original and prepared to good taste. I recommend stopping by.

Anche l'orata al forno molto gustosa.
La signora molto gentile e simpatica.

25/04/2025: Posto marinaro autentico in paese a Cadimare. Ci siamo andati prenotando perchè conosciuto da anni da amici che lavoravano in un diving li vicino. Beh qualità assoluta, antipasti di mare caldi e freddi al top. Primi anche ma soprattutto una catalana buonissima. Personale gentilissimo e tempi di attesa ridotti al minimo. Straconsigliato.

22/10/2025: I went to this gem of a restaurant with my colleagues. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. Starting with the appetizer, a work of art. The capon magro was delicious. The tagliolini with pesto and cod was delicate and unique. The dessert was one of the best I've ever tasted. Crispy on the outside with a creamy center. Everything was so fresh, assembled just moments before being brought to the table. Kudos to the professionalism, the passion that shines through, and the dedication and sacrifice to ensure everything was perfect. Kudos to the owner and his team because it was a particularly positive culinary experience that I will never forget. See you soon. Highly recommended!
