09/05/2025: È la seconda volta che torno e sono sempre più soddisfatta. Dopo un mega antipasto particolare e non i soliti piatti commerciali, un primo che già mi aveva estasiata la prima volta. Unica differenza tra le due esperienze è stato il conto, questa volta leggermente più caro ma cmq soldi spesi bene

02/05/2025: Tried this place for lunch during a trip to Tarquinia. The food is pretty good, but too many things went wrong. First of all, the quantity/price ratio is not adequate: the portions are really small and the price is too high. An example: a portion of fried food had around 12 pieces including small rings and tentacles and the cost was €19. We discovered this cost at the register, given that we were not brought a menu but were told everything orally. It is also presented as "fried calamari and prawns", but there were no prawns because they were finished, but we only discovered this when the dish arrived at the table and the price was the same anyway. In short, 2 seafood salads, 2 fries = €80. And we left hungry. Chabby-chic style of the place, with centerpieces made with dusty plastic plants that I personally would make disappear; furthermore in May there are still Christmas decorations inside with snow-covered fir branches (plastic, obviously) with attached lights and Santa Clauses.

02/06/2025: Essendo ospiti del contiguo hotel Villa Tirreno, per le due cene dei nostri soggiorni, abbiamo deciso di affidarci al ristorante Horta, posto al piano terra della struttura. Siamo rimasti soddisfatti sotto ogni aspetto: cucina, servizio, atmosfera. Piatti, della tradizione e non, preparati perfettamente. Carne di gran qualità servita in maniera impeccabile. Il personale, composto esclusivamente da ragazzi, sempre pronto e disponibile, e sempre con il sorriso sul volto. Rapporto qualità/prezzo buono: circa 35€ per un pasto di due portate.

12/05/2025: I don't know how to evaluate the food, I took a mixed salad with some strawberries and apples in it, for the price they offered it to me, if I remember correctly it's around €10, it seems a bit much to me. You can park.

03/05/2025: We stopped for lunch at Sperone before embarking on the journey home from a short holiday in Tarquinia. We couldn't taste all the goodies written on the menu, but what we ordered was excellent and had generous portions, friendly service and a quick country setting. If we have the opportunity to pass through those parts we will certainly return.

19/05/2025: The place has a service to review, after sitting down we waited almost half an hour to be able to order and we waited without even a bit of bread. The service was made up of two waiters who went back and forth in a confusing and inefficient way.

14/04/2025: sono stato una domenica a pranzo con mia moglie e i nostro amici statunitensi; il posto è molto carino, in linea con le costruzioni medievali di Tarquinia, il personale gentilissimo ed affabile, abbiamo mangiato benissimo, ottimi primi, anche se nessuno di noi ha ordinato la carne -ma ho già prenotato per ovviare alla mancanza :-). Come dessert ho scelto una seadas deliziosa e ho poi bevuto il miglio mirto della mia vita. Peccato che non sia in vendita, ma forse è meglio così altrimenti ci avrei lasciato lo stipendio! I miei amici, che vengono in Italia ogni hanno, hanno detto che mi chiederanno di tornarci. Io, invece, ci tornerò molto prima; sarò ancora lì tra un paio di settimana a provare l'agnello.

15/05/2025: I was here in May, for one night, in a period of rain and wind. The staff was very kind, the food, even if the kitchen was not 100% operational, was good. Like at home. What can I say... to try again in season.

20/09/2024: A bordo Piscina, l'entrée di tartare di tonno rosso con aromi mediterranei dispone già a una serata scintillante, ingentilita da una briosa bollicina. Ma subito i gusti forti prevalgono con il Tonnarello del Lupo di Mare, col suo mix di cozze sarde e di vongole, calamari e gamberi e chi più ne ha e più ne metta! Alternativa è una Calamarata con ristretto di crostacea semplicemente divina! Tradizione e innovazione si alternano sotto l'occhio vigile di Bruno: lo chef Giampiero trova sempre la giusta dose per accontentare una clientela variegata ed esigente. E allora i Tentacoli di polpo stile gallega e la fragrante Fritturina di paranza ovvero i Gamberi arrosto con limone e basilico restituiscono emozioni, in un agosto caldo ma reso fresco dalla fornita cantina di Bruno.

27/04/2025: Small but welcoming place, generous portions, the starter is enough for two, excellent cured meats. The shank is delicious, tasty, you don't need a knife to cut it, it's so tender. The staff were very kind and helpful, the service was very fast (even though there was only one waiter). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! We will definitely be back
