La Quadra In Tarquinia

Intrigued by some negative reviews, my friend and I decided to try this place ourselves during our visit to Tarquinia. As soon as we entered, the atmosphere was immediately welcoming and meticulously curated: the decor is splendid, and the wine display areas are truly enchanting. The exposed stone walls give the place a unique character. We were greeted by the owners with extreme kindness; they seated us without pressuring us, respecting our time to order. Despite the extensive wine selection, since we had to drive, we opted for an excellent Primitivo by the glass. The dishes are presented in an original way, and the quality of the ingredients is excellent. The service was impeccable, making the evening pleasant and enjoyable. The quality/price ratio is absolutely in line with the culinary offerings. A special thank you and many congratulations on your firstborn!

Excellent restaurant, the meat was truly top-notch, the owner was kind and helpful. Perhaps it was low season or bad weather, but there were only a few customers, which made the dinner absolutely perfect. The silence around us was rare these days. The prices were fair for the quality of the meat.

La Quadra was easily one of our top 3 meals of our whole trip in Italy!!! Our waitress was so sweet and recommended the vitello tonato to start.. it was AMAZING. We also shared 3 different pastas and every single one was 10/10. I’m seriously going to be dreaming about those amatriciana stuffed raviolis for a while. The meats looked incredible too, but it was our last day in Italy, and we just wanted to go out on a high note with pasta. If you’re in Tarquinia, don't miss this place. I’d honestly go out of my way to come back here!

I'd like to compliment all the staff. We had lunch today on Easter Sunday. Excellent service. Excellent and plentiful food, from appetizers to meat... sublime desserts and homemade bread. Wide selection of meat and wine prices, so everyone can find their own way. Truly, congratulations.

Fried egg was amazing? Meat presentation was professional and excusitite.

Very nice and well-maintained, we stopped by chance and were very impressed. The platter was rich and tasty, and the first courses we chose were delicious and plentiful, so we couldn't go any further. I highly recommend it, and if I were to pass through Tarquinia again, I think I'd happily return.

We stumbled upon this place by chance while traveling and stopped for lunch, but we were very pleased. The place is beautiful, the staff very friendly and knowledgeable in describing and recommending the dishes. The portions are so generous that we couldn't go past the appetizer and the main course. The prices are fair for the quantity and quality. I highly recommend it, and if I ever find myself passing through Tarquinia again, I'll definitely visit again.

We were here on a Sunday at lunchtime, and the staff was very friendly. The ravioli alla casa was delicious. The duck, Anitra, was tender and perfectly roasted. The restaurant is located in a medieval vaulted cellar and is charmingly decorated. Quality is paramount here.

High prices compared to the local average and lack of transparency in communication. Several of us ordered a half chicken with a side dish of our choice for €15. Before ordering, we asked for clarification, and the owner told us we could freely choose a side dish from the menu, clearly implying it was included. When we got the bill, however, a €7 side dish was added for each chicken, something never indicated on the menu. We paid without question, but this approach is misleading and leaves an unpleasant feeling. I've attached a photo of the menu: the words "chicken with herbs and a side dish of your choice" legitimately suggest the side dish is included. Finding out only on the bill that each side dish costs €7 is perplexing, to say the least. It's a real shame, because the atmosphere is beautiful, the waitress was very kind, and the food was good, but we felt cheated.

A wonderful discovery 😍 I recommend this place to everyone, it's meticulously designed, very clean, and the quality of the ingredients is excellent, as is the hospitality. You can tell the chef is passionate about his work; this evening's dishes managed to combine delicate and strong flavors, ensuring that the palate was filled with deliciousness and satisfaction. I like to taste and eat everything; I visit tons of restaurants, so I'm happy that near my hometown there's a restaurant so well-kept and, above all, with new flavors!!!!!!... (The chef cooks everything! ) Recommended for families too, because it's not really expensive; in fact, it was below my expectations.... THANK YOU SO MUCH 😍
