18/07/2026: La Taverna della Rocca in Tivoli is a charming, welcoming place with meticulous attention to detail. I had a seafood dinner and I must say it was all excellent: incredibly fresh seafood appetizers, flavorful mussel sauté, delicate salmon, and a simply perfect scampi cream risotto, creamy and fragrant. The homemade desserts are truly excellent. Kudos to Severino, the owner, who personally oversees the entire kitchen: you can taste the passion in every dish; and another shout-out to his wife, Annamaria, who is always courteous, kind, and smiling. A highly recommended experience!

04/07/2026: On a business trip, I stopped for a quick dinner. The food and service are excellent, and pizza is also available. It's practically inside Villa Gregoriana, and the view during dinner is wonderful.

16/07/2026: **KITCHEN PROBLEMS** We visited this restaurant on Sunday evening with an aunt who was staying with us. The atmosphere is lovely, with a beautiful garden and well-spaced tables. The place is cool and clean, and the waiters were very courteous and helpful. **Unfortunately, we encountered a serious kitchen organization problem**, as the owner confirmed. There were four of us and we ordered a fried appetizer, two pizzas, a sliced ​​steak, and a seafood salad: a completely normal order. After about 20 minutes, the two pizzas arrived (one of which was a bit crooked), and just a few minutes later, the appetizer was served. We tried to wait so we could all eat together, but it was impossible because the other dishes kept coming. As we watched our friends eat their pizza, we stood up to ask the owner why they were waiting so long. He replied that there were problems in the kitchen. After a few more minutes, another dish arrived, and when our friends had finished theirs, my tagliata finally arrived, which honestly didn't even taste like a real tagliata. I don't want to comment on the taste, because that's subjective. However, just today I read another review reporting the same delays in service, so I fear it wasn't an isolated incident. This is the first time I've encountered a situation like this, and I can say that watching your guests finish their food while you're still waiting for your dish isn't pleasant at all. I imagine they, too, felt uncomfortable seeing me eat after almost an hour of waiting. Once dinner was finished, I would have appreciated a gesture of thoughtfulness from the establishment: a simple apology at the table or a complimentary coffee or dessert, as many restaurateurs do when this type of inconvenience occurs. Instead, when I received the bill, I only received a small rounding up of a few cents. It's a shame because the place has potential and the wait staff is really friendly. However, until the kitchen management improves, I'm unlikely to return.

05/08/2025: I stumbled upon this place by chance and immediately felt at ease with the atmosphere, especially because, as a fellow restaurateur, I've really appreciated seeing a family-run business built on camaraderie and the importance it places on the work they do. Culinary expertise, the quality of the simple ingredients they use, friendliness, and a clean environment are essential, and this restaurant has it all! No complaints, keep it up!

The atmosphere was immaculate, the food excellent, but what really surprised us was the friendliness and dedication of the owners, who made us feel the passion behind their hard work every day. Congratulations to Alessandra and her parents for the excellent work they do! We'll be happy to return!

21/03/2026: 🍝 A corner of Rome in Tivoli: Pasta e Amore ❤️ This evening we made a delicious discovery in the heart of Tivoli. We visited Pasta e Amore, a little gem that's both a fresh pasta shop and an excellent Roman pizzeria. We had the pleasure of chatting with the chef, a man who exudes passion for his work. But let's get down to business... here's what we tried: Cacio e Pepe: Fresh homemade pasta that holds the sauce perfectly. Creamy, balanced, and with that character that only artisanal pasta can provide. Pizza: A true Roman pizza, crispy and light. You can see (and taste!) from a mile away that the ingredients are incredibly fresh. It's true that when things are made with love, the result is evident on the plate. My compliments to the entire team; keep up the good work! Guys, if you're passing through Tivoli, this is a place not to be missed.

31/01/2026: We went there tonight for the first time and it was a pleasant discovery: the place is in a quiet area of ​​Tivoli with easy parking, a very nice and clean atmosphere, and friendly staff who welcome you with a smile and just the right amount of attention (neither intrusive nor neglectful). We had homemade fried food, which was very good, and the pizzas were truly excellent, cooked in a wood-fired oven and with a crispy crust, just the way we like it. Prices were average, if not low, for being just a stone's throw from Rome. We'll definitely be back, especially out of curiosity to try their first courses.

21/07/2026: We stayed at the property for a couple of nights in a lovely, spacious apartment. The only thing I'd change about the apartment we stayed in is the shower curtain! The location is very convenient for those who want to reach Tivoli but still want to stay surrounded by greenery and cool air. The property has a lovely pool overlooking the hills. There are plenty of loungers and even a shower.
