11/05/2026: Simply the best pizza in the world. It's hard to convey in words how good it is and how carefully selected the ingredients are to create pizzas that will blow your mind. Potato-crusted porchetta (THE ORIGINAL), chicken salad, breaded steak...not to mention the exceptional fried foods. If you've never been to Sancho's, you've never had pizza.

11/05/2026: A small but very casual place: you order at the counter and, if there's a spot, sit at the tables. We ordered practically everything from the counter... and it was all spectacular. Phenomenal pizza by the slice, light and crispy, with top-quality ingredients. The one that impressed me the most was the amatriciana: I could have easily eaten two more pans. We also had a "frittatina" with truffle, cacio e pepe... it was so good, it was simply illegal. The staff was incredibly friendly. If you're passing through Fiumicino, stopping at Sancio is practically a must.

11/04/2026: A simple, welcoming place. My wife and I had a seafood dinner. The cuisine isn't overly elaborate, but it does deliver excellent quality. The service is attentive and fast. The price is excellent for the quality and quantity of food served. We'll be back to try the pizzas too.

11/04/2026: Went for dinner after flights cancelled from Rome, what a find. Great hustle and bustle to watch, with plates and plates of fantastic food delivered to lots of happy people. Had takeaway tonight that was lightening fast, super hot and tasty. Cracking place! 5 Stars.

13/03/2026: After a few years, we returned with our family to this place that was a favorite for us. Total disappointment, interminable wait, even for the kids, and sloppy service. The same dish, poor and without garnish, was served at a different table next door. I asked for bread, and they told me it was out shortly afterward. They brought it to another table. Spaghetti with clams served with lupini beans. The bill was steep, and the food was bland by their old standards. I'm sorry, but business can't be like this. I've lost a trusted place to go.

12/04/2026: I chose this restaurant by chance and we were very pleased with it 😃 We had spaghetti with clams and gnocchi with scampi cream for the first course and fried fish and julienned calamari on a base of mashed potatoes and fried artichokes for the second course. Everything was very good and fresh. The service was quick and the owner was very kind and welcoming!

The added bonus? A fantastic team: friendly, welcoming, and always ready to put a smile on your face with a joke. A place where you eat well and feel at home. Highly recommended!

14/04/2026: I waited and thought long and hard before writing this review because, honestly, something like this had never happened to me. From the menu, I chose fettuccine with tuna ragù among the "specials of the day." The dish arrived, and the first thing I noticed was a generous sprinkling of parmesan cheese on top (even if I had, I'd be the one to decide whether or not to add it), and that already had me suspicious. I said, "Okay, maybe the chef would like to show me the cheese-fish combination." I put the first forkful of this fettuccine in my mouth, and my taste buds detected meat instead of fish. So I tried a second forkful and nothing. I had the person with me taste it, and ditto. There was absolutely no trace of fish or tuna in the sauce; I found the classic minced meat ragù. I thought I'd made the wrong order, and that can happen. I thought the waiter had misread the order, and that can happen. I thought the chef had misread the order, and that can happen. But instead, the owner, with great conviction, looked me in the eye and said, "I assure you, that's tuna ragù!" I've never had anything like that happen before. I'm still convinced I tasted a classic pasta with meat ragù for €20. I have photos of the dish, but unfortunately, they can't be published here, apparently.

18/03/2026: We stopped here for a quick coffee and croissant before dropping someone off at Fiumicino Airport. It's conveniently located on the way to the Isola Sacra hotels. There's plenty of seating inside and a large patio with plenty of tables outside—it looked like a nice place to spend some time.

19/04/2026: We tried the appetizer tasting and the Scialatielli Pantelleria, all mouth-wateringly good. The lemon and strawberry sorbet with mint leaves was also excellent. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the dishes. The service was also excellent: fast and courteous, and they went out of their way to accommodate us by changing our table. Highly recommended!
