15/07/2025: The restaurant boasts several advantages and positive aspects that contribute to my overwhelmingly positive opinion. First and foremost, it stands out in the central area of town, a crossroads for pedestrians and passing motorists. This makes it easily accessible and divinely convenient for anyone who wants to reach another part of the city after their meal. Monetarily, the price of the products is a few euros lower than the standard for this type of restaurant, a welcome addition that makes the restaurant competitive in its area. The quality of the kebabs, generous in size and rich in flavor, is beyond satisfactory, and the service is accompanied by attentive and helpful staff. The restaurant is undoubtedly an absolute local benchmark for this type of cuisine. The only real uncertainty I encountered in writing this review is not a lack of service, but rather the fact that I have never tasted their pizza, which is why I cannot express an opinion on it.

20/12/2025: Friendly and welcoming, open late into the evening, but the food isn't very flavorful. Affordable prices, decent house wine... Good for a pizza after the theater.

14/12/2025: We ordered a house appetizer and some pizzas, but unfortunately, nothing was up to par. The appetizer consisted of several dishes, all served cold: peas, lentils (inedible), mushrooms, mixed vegetables (the same ones later found on one of the pizzas), clearly canned beans, zucchini, and prosciutto, which was the only thing that was barely acceptable. All of this was accompanied by cold, hard, and practically inedible focaccia. The service was also noteworthy: the waiter stacked the appetizer plates on top of each other due to lack of space on the table, a truly unprofessional scene. The pizzas fared even worse: all of them were left half-eaten by everyone at the table. The dough was rough and undercooked. In particular, the pizza with potatoes and sausage consisted of roughly chopped boiled potatoes and a paltry amount of sausage (maybe half in total). The only positive aspect: after reporting the situation to the waiter, one pizza (out of five) was taken off our bill, a gesture that was appreciated but insufficient to offset the overall quality of the experience. A decidedly negative experience, one we won't repeat and one we can't recommend.

19/09/2025: Passing through Viterbo with my family, we dined at this simple trattoria where the focus is on service, a family atmosphere, and the food: rare qualities when you add the moderate prices. We tried the venison both as a first course with tagliatelle and as a second course: fantastic! But the most delicious thing were the figs from Maurizio's tree! Marcella (I've Italianized her name to avoid mistakes) was incredibly kind and charming, Maurizio's irreplaceable sidekick.

06/10/2025: I go there for the cheerful atmosphere, I order their pinsa, which I find delicious, and the cocktails are superb! The burger and fries are also good.

07/12/2025: I asked at the bar for a sandwich without cheese and was told there wasn't time. I waited over 15 minutes for a coffee... my turn never came. When I got angry, they told me I wasn't the only one there. I preferred to leave without getting my coffee. I don't recommend it.

20/10/2025: A classic roadside inn, nestled between villages in the Giovenzano Valley. A family atmosphere, reminiscent of times long gone, with old-world flavors and simple, homely service. Good food, with only three first courses and three second courses on the menu. All delicious. We'll definitely return.

19/10/2025: Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Young and super friendly waiters. Very good food, exceptional homemade first courses and very good tagliata steak, but a bit small and without a side dish. Very good chicory, but not professionally sautéed. Water and cover charge for two. Bill €73, excluding wine and desserts.

27/11/2025: Places like this should stay closed. Terrible in every way. Poorly treated workers and terrible service. Never return, not even under torture. False?!?! If you want, I'll give you my phone number and you can call me so I can change your mind.

16/10/2025: €11 for a glass of Rosé wine (it was €6-7 on the menu) because it was served with a "snack": a bowl of Amica Chips molle, taralli, and tortilla chips. Obviously, not finger food, but supermarket-quality stuff. The aperitif with a platter and drink included on the menu was €10. 🤡 I waited 10 minutes or more for the waitress to place my order, while the place was half-empty, and now I understand why. I'd also like to add that the famous "snack trio" isn't mentioned on the receipt, either on the digital menu they offer with a QR code or on the website. If it's an added service with an extra charge, the waitress should inform the customer that they're ordering something "off the menu," with the additional cost. I'm talking about a mini bowl of chips for €6. Now I'd like an explanation from the owners.

Was this an honest mistake? Possibly. In any case, NO COMMENT! I think it's impolite to respond in the terms used instead of apologizing. A little more humility: "The customer is always right!" The vegetables and pasta dishes were good, the desserts a little less so (July 28, 2020, N.B.: two small disposable plastic cups of panna cotta with a thin layer of peach puree on top, a simple and unfortunately also tasteless dessert, but at a "grande patisserie" price = €12.00!!!). Takeout is available, but you can also eat in the shop; there's a counter with stools. A note on the decision to charge by weight rather than by portion, as is usually done 90% of the time in other excellent gourmet restaurants in Rome. The price is a sore point: €20.00 per kg for vegetables and €15.00 per kg for pasta dishes, cooked with simple yet excellent ingredients. "Picked and eaten," yes... but at a price of gold! "A broccoli is still a broccoli, never mistake it for a truffle!" A word to the wise.
