30/08/2025: I went with my family and a couple of friends who had also been there the night before. I had the sandwiches and steaks, everything was delicious, as were the desserts. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area again! I forgot to mention that the girls who served us were also great and friendly, having indulged, listened, and joked with the kids we had with us!

30/10/2025: My children have been attending SIS swimming school for three years, and I couldn't have chosen a better place for them. The instructors are highly qualified, and the staff is always kind and attentive. The swimming school organizes competitions twice a year, and it's always a well-attended event, eagerly awaited by the children. Highly recommended!

17/11/2025: Quadruple room with a window overlooking the wonderful lake. Unfortunately, the room wasn't spotless, and despite reporting the shampoo and shower gel dispensers to us twice, they didn't fix the problem. The garden and pool are beautiful.

02/09/2025: We hadn't eaten at this place in years due to the mediocrity of the food. After a long time, we decided to try takeout pizzas twice. The first time, we found a staff member eating the fries that were placed on the pizzas without gloves, all this in front of the customers. The second time, we ordered six pizzas, three of which were completely wrong. When we got home, we noticed that one pizza (which we paid for) was missing, but with the boxes they use, it wasn't noticeable. I strongly advise against eating at this place.

27/07/2025: Mediocre coffee served in a glass and not a cup. Also an unfriendly staff. No smiles. And worst of all the toilet has no soap. When asked about it, staff rudely replied ‘it’s finished’

07/06/2025: We ordered two espresso tonic, they gave us 2 espresso, 2 tonics and 2 glasses with ice. When we wanted to paid, they charged us 24 euros, because it was cocktail in their eyes…cocktail that we have to make ourselves. We asked how much is espresso (1.2 €). I think the place was lovely but now I don’t want to come back, I feel cheated.

14/12/2025: I've been to this place several times. The convenience of having a children's area is a reason to go, but considering the food, I find it gets worse and more expensive each time. The burgers aren't good. I also find the cleanliness of the place worse. The bathrooms stink and need a thorough cleaning. And since the kitchen is open, make sure it's clean. Those stoves and tiles are black with dirt. The service is all friendly, but some of them really don't even know the few rules for managing a table. I won't be going back, and I'm sorry.

03/11/2025: I arrived around 6 PM and there were already many regulars there. The chicken tagine was a little salty, but it was delicious when eaten with bread. The bread was topped with small, crunchy pieces of what appeared to be nuts, and the bread itself was thick and chewy, so I was full after eating two slices. (I think the three slices of bread probably came with the tagine. The person next to me also had bread.) I would have preferred a larger variety of salad ingredients, but given the reasonable price, I think this is probably a spot for locals to enjoy their daily lives. I was clearly a foreigner, but the lady at the restaurant was understanding and friendly, and always smiling.

06/12/2025: The food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and fun. We really enjoyed our time here. The only downside was that, at the end, we were given a handwritten bill instead of an official receipt and accepted cash only. Other than that, everything was great!

The drinks were extremely overpriced and came from cans. I'm only giving two stars for the food because the dessert made up for it a little. 26/07/2025: 7pm booking at this recognised Stanley Tucci restaurant. First people there, very family, relaxed atmosphere. The mumma looked after us although her English wasn’t that good. Great carbonara pasta and cheapest white wine. It was an experience only but I won’t return. There are better restaurants near Trastevere.

20/07/2025: This was a highlight of our trip to Rome. A bit out of the way of tourist areas, but well worth the detour to San Lorenzo. The pasta carbonara did not disappoint. Artichoke was melt in your mouth good. Trio of cow tail, meatball, and tripe was excellent and beautifully presented. Service outstanding. Reasonable prices too.

05/12/2025: Il Moro had already won before we even ordered: beautiful atmosphere, perfect lighting, spacious tables. We ordered our drinks, and this time there was a little new addition to the evening's menu: 🍹 Aperol Spritz, our usual must-have, fresh, bright, and reassuring as ever. ✨ Sbagliato bianco, which for us was the discovery of the day: light, elegant, delicate... one of those drinks you taste and immediately look into each other's eyes like, "Okay, we'll have this next time too." Meanwhile, the appetizer tray arrived: crunchy taralli, popcorn, peanuts, olives... those simple things that slowly disappear as we immerse ourselves in our endless flow of stories and laughter 🤭 And then the dish that officially won the evening: ❤️ Speck rolls with mozzarella. Warm, soft, fragrant... the speck wrapped around the mozzarella creates that combination that makes you close your eyes for a second. There's something magical about these aperitifs: no rush, no routine, just a pause that smells of freedom and lightness. The clinking of glasses, the soft light, the jazz in the background, the taste of the drinks... everything fits together perfectly, and we remember how wonderful it is to be together like this, simply.
