27/06/2025: We had a really nice lunch at the trattoria which is just off the main piazza. Anagni was very quiet and we were the only visitors to both the restaurant and the Cathedral! We ordered the Antipasto platter for 2 which was €32 and stuffed full of lovely cured meats and cheese. It was more than enough for lunch together with the bread provided for the table. We finished off with coffee and delicious complimentary biscuits. It was a shame there were no other guests but it didn’t spoilt the meal.

04/11/2025: 5 well-deserved stars I stopped here by chance and was greeted warmly by the manager. I ordered the fettuccine with scottona beef and pecorino cheese, a true representation of the local cuisine. I'll definitely be back. The accompanying wine was also excellent. The bathroom was clean and the place was well-kept.

19/10/2025: I was deeply disappointed with this place. From the moment I entered, the place was dirty and neglected, with visibly unclean utensils and—even worse—the presence of crickets and cockroaches inside. There was no paper or digital menu, and the dishes were offered verbally, without any indication of prices. This created a lot of confusion, especially when it came to the bill: the final price was decidedly high and it was unclear what we were actually paying. Furthermore, the bottle of water we were served was dirty, adding to the overall feeling of poor hygiene. The food was decent, but certainly not enough to make up for all the other serious shortcomings. Finally, the place doesn't have a POS terminal, so payment is cash only—a piece of information that would have been appropriate to communicate right away. In short, a very negative experience from every perspective. I do not recommend it.

17/10/2025: Wow, amazing Gelato. We were on our way from Prato to Rome and needed a Gelato. The google rating that attracted us here didn’t disappoint. In speaking with the owner, they make their own Gelato daily.

If you ask me if I'd go back, I'd say no. But that's just my personal preference. I prefer a quieter atmosphere. As for the price... meh...

25/11/2025: Very spacious, with both indoor and outdoor dining areas, under large umbrellas. Plenty of space between the tables. The dining room staff is numerous and very friendly. The dishes are generous and of good quality. Prices are average. The fifth star, when I return to continue choosing from the varied and interesting menu. UPDATE After a long time, with high expectations, I stopped by again, but I'm forced to remove the stars! "Antipasto Capannina" was well-plated, but lacking in imagination. As for the first course, to summarize, the chef had a problem with the ravioli requested. He suggested other ones, but after many apologies and a long wait, they arrived, but they were half raw, with the meat inside being inedible and left on the plate. The waiter pointed this out and apologized for what happened. We weren't interested, but professionally speaking, a discount on the bill would have been appreciated, but instead: full-price ravioli!

21/10/2025: I went to this restaurant for a family lunch and was very satisfied. Mr. Eugenio helped me organize the meal and oversaw the entire preparation process with professionalism. The staff was extremely kind and attentive, and the dishes were tasty and beautifully presented. I definitely recommend it and hope to return soon.

18/10/2025: 4.50 for a sandwich. Okay, we're in EUR, in the middle of the RomaSposa fair. But is there such a need to skimp? Two pieces of mozzarella, all moved towards the edge of the bread to make it look well-filled. No salt or oil. Truly a miserable meal.

19/10/2025: A lunch to forget. A terrible embarrassment to my Canadian friends. We were the first to arrive at the restaurant at 1:30 PM, and no one greeted us due to a plumbing problem in the kitchen. We ordered first, but then the place filled up. We each had to eat separately, since one of the starters arrived at 3:20 PM. A starter with anchovies that weren't on the plate. We had chosen two porcini omelets, which arrived at the table across the table before us, and which we never received. After almost an hour, it turns out there was a miscommunication, and the menu didn't offer omelets, but crepes. Too bad it said omelets on the menu. My daughter ordered cacio e pepe fries, and they arrived plain fries. 20 euros for fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, saltless and flavorless. 10 euros for six slices of pizza bianca with two cherry tomatoes on top, after having ordered a focaccia with Taggiasca tomatoes and cherry tomatoes. In short, with five tables to serve, ours being the largest, we managed to get up at 4:00 PM. With three appetizers, three first courses, a second course, a French fry, three glasses of wine, and a beer, it was €30 per person. €175 with the discount... The owner, aside from bringing the wine, disappeared and didn't even bother to come and apologize for the numerous mix-ups and the completely unnecessary wait. Avoid.

For a 100th anniversary celebration, we were able to fully appreciate the quality: the desserts made by Costanza, the owner, are truly homemade—fresh, traditional, and delicious. The waitresses are always kind, friendly, and helpful, which made the event even more enjoyable. A genuine, no-frills place, where passion and customer care are evident in every detail.
