12/05/2025: We came here on a Monday lunchtime so it was very quiet. When you arrive, you think this place is closed. Don’t give up. It’s OPEN. When we came, a car was parked to block the main entrance. This restaurant is a part of a hotel. The food was brilliant throughout. Pasta with asparagus and speck was very simple and tasty. No fat, no butter. Very light but great depth with good brode. Steak on the bone is spotless. Crispy fat was really sweet. Good quality meat. The lunch was very good and reasonable.

11/05/2025: Borgo Antico is a gem. We started with the burrata, charcuterie, and calamari—each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell there’s real care in both the food and the experience. Can’t recommend this spot enough for any occasion in the heart of Oakville.

13/06/2025: I'm sorry to have to leave this review but I hope it will be taken as advice to improve customer service. -Update after the owner's response: I didn't get the wrong shop, it was the end of April and I also have the photos if needed- I ordered and picked up a cake for a birthday and when it was time to eat it with the celebrants, I had an unpleasant surprise. The colored decoration on top of the cake was literally inedible: very sour flavor as if there was a very high concentration of some ingredient. Luckily I had time to warn the other people. To err is human and of course! So, before leaving the review, just over half of the cake had been brought back to the shop to report the inconvenience. The response was: "We're sorry, next time we'll do it better". We're sorry too because in addition to having wasted money, we made a fool of ourselves with the guests. As a merchant, I would have at least given a bag of cookies as a gesture of apology for a mistake that can happen. We would have appreciated it. So the review is mainly to improve customer service in order to avoid losing another future regular customer (and risk another similar review).

10/06/2025: For my silver wedding, I expected much more. The cake was a real disaster: calling it “ugly” is an understatement. And the worst thing is that they force you to take it from their pastry shop, so you don’t know what you’re getting until it arrives. It was the ugliest cake I’ve ever seen. I’m attaching the photo: we added the topper with the newlyweds, but look at the decoration… embarrassing. We also asked to have lunch in the small room, but we were denied because we didn’t occupy the whole room and we would have had to pay for the empty seats too. Too bad that day the restaurant wasn’t even full. A special occasion ruined by little care and zero flexibility.

20/02/2025: Nonostante fosse ua domenica di sole e quindi piena di clienti, ci hanno servito velocemente e con pietanze assolutamente di qualità. Le pappardelle al fagiano erano speciali ma anche gli appetizers quali i fagioli con le cotiche e farro e lenticchie erano squisiti. Il tutto ad un prezzo decisamente abbordabile, considerando la location direttamente sulle piste innevate e molto calda es accogliente

02/02/2025: Baita di montagna, ambiente molto caloroso, arredato in legno con molti oggetti esposti che creano una bella atmosfera. Menu fisso a 35 euro, con sconto 30, antipasto, 2 primi, un secondo con contorno, dolce, vino, caffè e ammazza caffè, tutto compreso. Veramente un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, rarissimo da trovare conservando comunque una buona qualità del cibo. Personale molto gentile e disponibile, ci siamo trovati molto bene, torneremo!

28/06/2025: AVOID! Food is terrible. Pizza is better frozen from the supermarket than here. Pasta is terrible. We dropped in for an Aperol and that's a plus! Because it was strong and rocked a little. But this is not a place for food. I don't recommend it.

Very delicious dishes cooked with passion, truly a place to absolutely stop for lunch or dinner. Don't miss the appetizers of local cured meats and cheeses, different and incredible every time. then let's not talk about the absolutely excellent meat and even the first courses are no different. in short, a little too much superlatives but I assure you that it's worth it!!!

07/06/2025: We had the opportunity to have lunch on a day in June, a suggestive location with a view of the sea. There is the possibility of various fixed menus but we preferred to order à la carte. The first courses were all very good, the risotto cream of scampi was excellent. The second courses including the mixed grill of fish and the fried calamari were very good. The service was fast. The employees were all very kind. The lady was friendly and nice. The boy was very kind. Excellent quality/price. Recommended.

03/05/2025: Location sul mare, ma il locale -ristorante è poco curato ,si mangia con tovaglia e tovaglioli di carta ed i bagni sono brutti e poco puliti.Abbiamo mangiato un banale antipasto misto ed un deludente piatto di spaghetti alle telline .Il conto per 2antipasti ,2 spaghetti,2 calici di vino,1 bottiglia di acqua ed un caffè è stato di 78 euro,decisamente alto rispetto alla qualità della cucina.Rapido e gentile il servizio.

25/02/2025: E la seconda volta che mangiamo qui, antipasti buoni, tagliatelle ai funghi porcini di livello stellare! Patate al forno eccellenti e ravioloni ripieni. Dolci fantastici, ma attenti al conto ci possono essere degli errori in buona fede, mi sono stati addebitati 3 dolci in più. Da scontare la prossima volta. Lo chef numero uno! Bravo tutto lo staff!
