05/12/2025: Beautiful view with excellent food.

01/12/2025: It's a secret. I visited this place because my uncle recommended it. The view of the Colosseum is fantastic. I can't believe this place has one Michelin star. But it was incredibly hot even though I visited in early September. The shrimp risotto had gone bad, and it had a terrible fishy smell. I took one spoonful and didn't eat it. The server dropped the dessert on my spoon and refilled it. Does that mean the other food is delicious? Not at all. The bread dipped in olive oil is the best. I've been to many other Michelin-starred restaurants, but this one shouldn't even deserve a star. It's questionable how it earned its star and maintains it. The only real reason is the view. Honestly, I spent over 1 million won on food alone. It would have been a lot more profitable to book a hotel with a Colosseum view and go somewhere else. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I made a mistake in my review. I'm so sorry to the head chef at Aroma. This place is truly the worst of the worst. The old Michelin stars should all be stripped away and replaced. Compared to the creative cuisine of new chefs, they've fallen into a rut, and Michelin stars, especially in Europe, are too busy cooking for themselves, so there's no progress. What I mean is, there's no progress at all. Same menus, repeating menus, etc. Recently, I've been to Michelin restaurants in other countries and noticed that there are many new restaurants that are both creative and delicious. The service is also top-notch. But how can a place like Aroma, with its abysmal service and food, receive a Michelin star? This isn't a recognition, it's a relationship. Il cibo qui è spazzatura.

09/11/2025: A perfect little restaurant in the heart of Modena. The food was tasty and great portions, they have a lot of option to choose from. (Even vegetarian options.) We really liked the enterieur, the decoration is very unique. But the greatest thank you is for the team. They are kind and always ready to help. The first evening we liked the food so much, we wanted to go back the next day. Although they were fully booked they managed to give us a table and when we arrived the next day they greeted us like old friends. This place is the real hospitality!❤️ Thank you for everything!

25/06/2025: A place belonging to the organizers of the Superaurora Festival, a disastrous event with endless lines for everything, absurd prices, a ban on bringing water when it's 40 degrees (and the bars have even finished it), uncontrolled access, wild parking in the pine forest on paths and cycle paths and so on and so forth. As if that wasn't enough, the organization then deleted the negative comments on Instagram and BLOCKED the paying customers who complained. Absurd

03/11/2025: I arrived around 6 PM and there were already many regulars there. The chicken tagine was a little salty, but it was delicious when eaten with bread. The bread was topped with small, crunchy pieces of what appeared to be nuts, and the bread itself was thick and chewy, so I was full after eating two slices. (I think the three slices of bread probably came with the tagine. The person next to me also had bread.) I would have preferred a larger variety of salad ingredients, but given the reasonable price, I think this is probably a spot for locals to enjoy their daily lives. I was clearly a foreigner, but the lady at the restaurant was understanding and friendly, and always smiling.

24/09/2025: A wonderful experience at Atlas, the food was truly delicious: we had Moroccan mint tea, various salads, all very fresh, msemen, the typical flatbread, delicious, side dishes of eggplant and spiced peppers, and finally the last remaining tagine, probably beef. I say "probably" because the only flaw is perhaps the fact that the staff aren't fluent in Italian, so it can sometimes be difficult to ask for information, but they are truly kind and helpful. The final surprise was the bill: for all this good food and two traditional drinks, we paid €13 each!!!

09/11/2025: Shameful! It's a shame because the restaurant has a lot of potential, but... Paying €14 for a penne pasta (which was also bad) for a 2-year-old is madness!!!!!

29/10/2025: Terrible food. Yesterday, October 28, 2025, I had lunch with my daughter and my one-year-old granddaughter. The little one happily ate pasta with fresh tomato sauce. I ordered it for myself. It was absolutely disgusting. Even the little one refused it. Having paid 14 euros for it, I keep asking myself... "What kind of tomatoes was it cooked with?" This is the last time we'll go. The NAS should check us out. Who knows, they might find something irregular. I'm also disgusted by what my pregnant daughter tried to eat. I'm speechless!

20/10/2025: Delicious wood-fired pizza with a crispy crust, friendly staff, and a clean, welcoming, rustic restaurant. A pleasant evening, with reasonable prices.

09/10/2025: Terrible experience! I ordered a takeout pizza, and instead of preparing it as requested, without even asking me anything, they handed me a pre-made pizza, taken from the counter and completely cold! (Unfortunately, not the first time)!!! It was clearly obvious that it had been made hours earlier. This kind of behavior is truly unacceptable!!! When you order, you expect a fresh, made-to-order product, not leftovers from the counter! There's a total lack of respect for the customer and the quality of service. This will be my last time there!

20/11/2025: Typical Roman osteria. Dated but friendly atmosphere. Excellent food. Excellent amatriciana and Scottadito.

18/11/2025: Fast service, but the carbonara was inedible! The egg was cooked!

31/08/2025: Truly poor service. The chaufa was flavorless. Terrible service from the staff, who lacked customer service training. We had to wait an hour for our dish, which was subpar.

19/11/2025: Disappointing. A friend from Rome recommended it to me. The service was unpleasant, and seeing the reviews, I see we're not the only ones. The waiter was rude and had poor service. The pizzas were passable; the thin crust was the only redeeming feature. The calzone was surrounded by a pool of liquid. They said a 20-minute wait, but it took an HOUR for a pizza?! It's unacceptable! Tables that were served earlier were served later because they were Italian, and if you're a foreigner, they ignore you. The waiter was annoyed if you asked for another drink, making negative gestures with his hands. What kind of place is this? The owner should be paying attention to how his employees treat customers. Clearly, I won't be returning and I won't recommend it to anyone I care about. Rome is full of delicious restaurants with charming waiters where you can have a great experience in every way. ☺️

18/11/2025: This is a local favorite and deservingly so. They are serious about their pizza and the first bite solidifies any opposition. The house wine was not as full as other local Hosteria’s but that can be appreciated as well. My choice of sausage pizza was very distinct as the freshness stood out each bite. Service was speedy and receptive to my intermediate level Italian skills. As soon as I was seated a +20min line formed. So yes, I’d say take the time and enjoy some pizza romana
