04/12/2025: I dined at Pizzeria da Pepe in the San Giovanni neighborhood of Rome and couldn't recommend it more to anyone looking for an intimate and welcoming place, ideal for an informal business conversation. The place is small but well-kept, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere that fosters productive discussions without distractions, perfect for the two of us who wanted to focus on ideas and projects.
The pizza was the real highlight: light and digestible dough, with generous and flavorful toppings that brought out the authentic flavors. Every bite was a pleasure, and the service was quick and attentive, helping make the evening flawless.
I highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for quality without frills!
12/11/2025: Don't order the carbonara, they pass off the bacon as guanciale and it's completely overcooked.

16/11/2025: We booked on our son's recommendation on a Saturday evening. It was packed and the atmosphere was relaxed and happy, with people chatting happily. The food was excellent; the pizzas and boccioli we ordered were top-notch. The staff at the tables were excellent. The price-quality ratio was unmatched. Congratulations, and see you soon.
09/11/2025: Very good pizza, with a dry, light, digestible dough and well-seasoned toppings. The Roman-style fried fish is good and plentiful. The place is crowded and unfortunately very noisy, with football screens in every corner.

17/10/2025: Everything was delicious and excellent, the service was excellent, and the price was almost in line with what we ate. What really bothered us was that we ordered two portions of tagliolini with lobster, which they kindly split into four half portions, but on the bill it came out as four full-price portions. The excuse was that the lobster was the full portion of each dish, and so that drove up the price. So, I don't think we'll happily return after what happened.
01/10/2025: We had lunch at the restaurant twice. The place was elegant and welcoming. The staff was very kind and efficient. The food was excellent. If I may make a small comment, when I asked for some oil to add to the delicious fish, I was brought a small bottle of oil extracted from EU olives.
For some reason, given the quality of the restaurant, I expected an EVOO extracted in Italy from Italian olives.

12/10/2025: We had lunch today with my family at this very rustic but beautiful restaurant.
The first and second courses were both meat-based, each better than the last.
It's a shame about the homemade desserts; among the options, only the panna cotta was homemade.
The organization and service could use some attention...
If you want to eat at this restaurant, be patient; the wait times are very long...

06/10/2025: The place definitely needs renovation, but the setting is beautiful. There's a lovely fireplace lit even in autumn and a beautiful chestnut grove to work off a good meal.
The food is simple and good. Not a lot of choices, but that's fine by me. The porcini mushroom and wild boar ragù are a highlight, an excellent first course. Then there's the grilled meat and side dishes. Plenty of parking inside, so reservations are recommended.

10/12/2025: Mattress is quite hard. In need of a refurb. Only one plug socket, so bring an extension lead. But, other than that. Staff are lovely. Very clean. Haven't had the food but smells good. They do a decent cocktail. Not too far from anything.

15/08/2025: We visited Boschetto on a rather quiet evening, with only a few tables occupied. The atmosphere left us perplexed: elegant, reception-style tablecloths but bare furnishings, with movie stills on the walls that clashed with the rest of the setting.
The cuisine was mixed. The gnocchi alla sorrentina tasted dull, while the scampi risotto was dominated by cream, masking any seafood flavor. In stark contrast, the fried fish was excellent, crispy and light, as was the pappardelle with mushrooms, flavorful and well-seasoned.
The prices are in the medium-high range, but the overall experience was disappointing due to the inconsistencies in both the food and the atmosphere.
06/08/2025: Excellent venue with several rooms and outdoor spaces for events and ceremonies. Very active in organizing musical evenings. Extensive menu featuring top-quality local products. Excellent value.
