28/08/2025: The cashier was rude, she wouldn't even let me pay with my card. The counter attendant was also rude. A little politeness wouldn't hurt.

10/08/2025: The meat tastes truly like beautifully grilled meat. Highly recommended for lovers of this genre.

09/08/2025: The porcini mushroom fettuccine wasn't exactly my cup of tea. Overall, it was good and plentiful, but it was too oily and too much chili pepper. I'll definitely be back to try the meat!

L’accueil est très chaleureux et le cadre magnifique on se sent super bien !! Il serait dommage de rater cette adresse !!! Je recommande très fortement

08/09/2025: A historic spot in Tor San Lorenzo, run by the legendary Roberto, who is always attentive to every customer's needs. The restaurant is excellent both for its fish, all locally caught and super fresh, and for its pizza. The dishes are on par with those of the posh restaurants found at the port of Anzio, carefully prepared with the freshest ingredients. It's a piece of local history that evolves with the innovations of the years.

30/08/2025: Prices are like a restaurant, but they're nothing more than a cheap bistro. They think they're great chefs, but the dishes are limited, and they don't even have a menu. I don't recommend it; there are many other nice, good places nearby. I'll definitely never go back.

06/07/2025: I ordered pizza with my boyfriend stracciatella and raw ham...the stracciatella wasn't stracciatella or worse if it was, it was spoiled...very sour! Arancino amatriciana gone bad, tasted rotten! The girl on the phone was rude as hell...I don't recommend her for anything in the world, 30 euros wasted and I was left without lunch, because the food was inedible! NEVER AGAIN

05/07/2025: The food is excellent quality and truly unbeatable in terms of taste and quantity. It's a shame about the staff, especially one of the girls at the counter who I always have to deal with at lunchtime. Every single time I came to buy lunch, I felt deeply uncomfortable with the way she interacts with customers: dirty looks, snorts, swear words and even swearing. She serves the food in trays with contempt and if unfortunately I don't hear her when she asks a question (which is certainly not unusual since she only speaks in whispers and mutters) she blurts out as if I were bothering her. I repeat, I'm very sorry because the place is very good and the food is truly amazing, it's a shame that because of this treatment many customers are discouraged from coming back. I hope you can solve it. <3

19/06/2025: A now historic bakery in the Bologna neighborhood; it offers a wide selection of excellent breads, even with particular and fine grains. The pizzas and savory dishes are of quality, as is the pastry shop, which offers a large quantity of products. The delicatessen offers a good variety of quality cured meats and many delicious cheeses, including particular and not very common ones. There is always a line, but there are also many people serving and the numbers fortunately pass quite quickly. The only flaw is the choice to use a single line to access all the sectors (pizza, bread/pastry and delicatessen) because sometimes to buy only in the delicatessen you have to queue all the way (much longer!) than the people who buy bread and pizza.

16/06/2025: Il rooftop dell' hotel de la ville è da sempre il mio aperitivo preferito a Roma. L'atmosfera è imbattibile e gli altri rooftop secondo me neanche ci si avvicinano. Drink buonissimi, certo secondo me visti i prezzi potrebbero essere servizi alcuni stuzzichini in più.

12/06/2025: Non-existent customer care, they only think about profit. After ordering and paying on JustEat €11.80 (salmon and buffalo mozzarella pizza + delivery service) and not seeing my order arrive I decide to call the pizzeria, I am told that the pizza was delivered to a girl who took advantage of it and took it, in all this the rider did not even think to call me on the phone. The pizzeria assures me that they would bring me another pizza (the same) but only after delivering it to me I discover that the pizza is a Margherita, very different both in ingredients but above all in prices from the salmon and buffalo mozzarella that I had ordered, I decide to call the pizzeria: too late, closing time. I paid €11.80 to receive a simple Margherita, all due to an error by the rider and I as a customer had to pay the costs. It is unacceptable and shameful that for a fault not attributable to me I should have to suffer, paying for a product that never arrived. The only fault I had was ordering from this pizzeria that I was growing fond of but that apparently does not care about customer satisfaction but has as its objective only the care of its own interests. You have lost a customer and I will definitely not recommend the place.

03/06/2025: Questo luogo è la mia ancora di salvezza in quei particolare giorni nei quali nn ho tempo di cucinare o sono talmente fuori orario che nn ne ho voglia. Qui trovo sempre qualcosa di cucinato "familiare" con quei sapori che mi ricordano la mamma o la nonna come gli arrosti o le verdure o i primi piatti, è proprio così i sapori sono evocativi nel profondo e qui mi accade così. Voglio aggiungere che ho sempre mangiato abbondantemente, sono sempre stato bene ho speso anche meno del "giusto". Continuerò ad andarci e a gustare come fossi in famiglia.

13/07/2025: Il locale ha un’atmosfera accogliente e curata, perfetta sia per un caffè veloce che per una pausa più lunga a pranzo o a cena. Ai tavoli verrete assistiti da Andrea, un cameriere di rara professionalità e gentilezza. Con un sorriso sincero e una grande attenzione al cliente, è riuscito a rendere il nostro momento al tavolo ancora più piacevole. È raro trovare qualcuno così appassionato del proprio lavoro e capace di coniugare efficienza e calore umano. Il menù è vario e ben pensato, con proposte che uniscono tradizione e creatività. Ottimi anche i caffè e i dolci, perfetti per una pausa golosa. Fermento è sicuramente un posto in cui tornare. Consigliatissimo – e chiedete di Andrea!

06/07/2025: Comida fantástica, vino excelente, servicio atento, gran ambiente. Lo probé después de leer las otras críticas pero sin esperar mucho, el lugar es en realidad una joya inesperada. El camarero Andrea, muy amable y profesional, nos hizo sentir inmediatamente bienvenidos y a gusto. Seguimos sus sugerencias para la cena y disfrutamos de cada plato (desde una deliciosa burrata con aceitunas alici y tomates secos, unos tagliolini alle vongole maravillosamente sedosos y unos fettuccine al ragù di manzo tradicionalmente ricos) acompañados de un vino blanco delicado pero multidimensional. Delicioso tiramisú para cerrar una cena perfecta y de lo más agradable. Gracias, definitivamente volveremos.

02/09/2025: I came with a friend and frankly very disappointed with this moment on the terrace, the lamentable service - the waiters busy talking except caring about our expectations, we have to complain - a waiter or manager was next to him spending his time with friends of his visibly without caring about us - I find the food good but expensive despite the quantity - frankly the impression of being taken for tourists - I do not recommend

01/09/2025: Hostaria del Mercato is a complete disappointment! This place in Rome is an overpriced letdown. The café Americano was the worst I’ve ever had—thin, tasteless, and barely coffee, yet they charge an outrageous €4.50 for it! To make matters worse, they’re charging a shocking €6.50 for a tiny 0.25L bottle of Coke, and they don’t even clearly indicate this absurd price on their menu—talk about shady! To make things worse, despite the huge space, there’s only one small toilet per gender, which is woefully inadequate. Expect long waits and frustration just to use the facilities. Save your money and avoid this tourist trap. Rome has plenty of better spots with decent coffee, fair prices, and proper amenities. Hostaria del Mercato is an absolute no-go!
