20/02/2026: A beautiful location with a relaxing view of the greenery. I'd been here before to celebrate birthdays and loved it. I returned today after a long wait, and I must say I had a wonderful time. The welcome and service were impeccable. The quality/price ratio is excellent, and although it's a meat and fish restaurant, since there was a vegetarian guest, they prepared special dishes to accommodate them. Then, at the checkout, in addition to not having to pay for the coffee with the digestif, the owner gave me a bottle of their wine! An experience I'll definitely repeat! Top!

18/02/2026: The pizza was simply fantastic: huge, well-topped, with a light, fragrant dough that melted in your mouth. Every bite was an explosion of flavor, the kind that makes you close your eyes to savor it even more. The appetizers started the evening off perfectly: the bruschetta was delicious, perfectly crispy, with fresh, flavorful ingredients that tasted of home and tradition. But beyond the food, what made everything even more special was meeting the owners again after so many years. It was a truly emotional moment 🥰: their warm welcome, sincere smiles, and family atmosphere made us feel right at home. Cacio e Pepe isn't just a restaurant, it's a place where you can eat excellently and where you can feel passion, friendliness, and authenticity. We'll definitely be back! 🍕✨

16/05/2026: We had breakfast here. Ordering our coffee in English proved quite difficult. The panini and croissant were good. The restrooms were anything but clean and well-maintained. The staff wasn't particularly friendly, and food scraps were simply thrown on the floor when the tables were wiped. The bill then surprised us: the prices listed were only for takeaway orders; there were separate prices for dining in: panini was €12.00 instead of €7.50, and cappuccino was €2.50 instead of €1.50.

17/05/2026: Definitely not vegan friendly. They have nothing for breakfast except tomatoes (quote), and they certainly didn't bother to provide a measly vegan croissant for the following mornings. The room was very small but nice, and the bathroom definitely needs a revamp.

13/05/2026: For a 4-star hotel, I'd say it's not even halfway there! Only the lobby is special; the rest is ultra-vintage. Old rooms, no mirror, uncomfortable bed, poor-quality linens. Zero cleanliness and order, rooms full of dust... Old, smelly bathroom... even the tap water is smelly. Mediocre breakfast, terrible service: in the dining room, the waiters touch the cutlery with their hands and clutter and dirt reign everywhere. Never again!

The red snapper... accompanied by other ingredients that accentuate the main ingredient. Very clean and modern atmosphere. Attentive and well-prepared service. Owners at the forefront, present but never intrusive. Every dish has a story. A refined and well-researched story. Never overly sophisticated, the raw ingredients are emphasized. 08/06/2026: I came here with a friend of mine who lives in Spain. I wanted her to try a typical local aperitivo, and I must say it was divine! With the bread and bruschetta, they serve cheeses and three small bowls of carbonara sauce, cacio e pepe, and amatriciana, with the option of refilling the bread and bruschetta. Drink included, it's €15 per person. It's also very convenient for getting to the city center quickly. Highly recommended!! P.S. The place is a bit small, so it's best to book in advance :)

01/12/2025: Good morning, I have to be honest, I initially appreciated the friendly welcome from all the waiters, who, they said, were willing to accommodate any need. So much so that when we ordered different types of dishes, the waiter who served us turned a deaf ear, claiming that the kitchen only has four burners, as if the problem were ours... at this point I wonder why offer so many types of dishes if you can't ask why there are only four burners? You still have time to buy a kitchen, there are two days left until Black Friday... I think both the cover charge and the desserts are excessive, and furthermore, the number of covers is too high for the capacity of the restaurant. The worst disappointment of this experience was hearing the dissatisfaction of the people I treated this lunch to. P.S. It was a sore point to hear the waiter ask to pass the plates instead of picking them up, as I found him unprofessional.

08/12/2025: Passing through Itri at lunchtime, we decided to stop at this osteria. It was crowded on a Sunday, but the owner luckily found us a table. We took their advice: pappardelle with fantastic wild boar ragù, cod with cherry tomatoes and crostini, and tripe with pecorino cheese—all delicious. The house Montepulciano wine was also excellent. Mr. Cesare and his family were empathetic, very friendly, and witty. Worth a try. P.S.: "The amaro was delicious." I wish I'd had a bottle 🤪

23/09/2025: This place started out as a seafood trattoria with a Sicilian focus. The previous owners may have been Sicilian, but they were definitely Italian. Now I've noticed that the restaurant is run by foreigners, perhaps Bangladeshi. In any case, the menu and cuisine have changed a lot, as has the management.

16/01/2026: A village bar in the city. If you want to have fun and enjoy a good draft beer or cocktail, you can't miss Shout. Fiffi and her sister are wonderful owners, capable of captivating you with a smile, a joke... it really feels like experiencing the warm atmosphere of a small village bar, but in a big city like Rome. Plus, they organize various events every week: foosball tournaments, karaoke, and much more!
