20/01/2025: Ottima la pizza, ma anche a pranzo si trovano piatti molto gustosi, perché oltre che pizzeria è anche tavola calda. Il servizio è veramente super, le bariste sono cordiali e gentili. Se non ci sei mai stato, ti consiglio di provare. Non resterai deluso

02/04/2025: Stumbled on this lovely restaurant down a side alley close to the Spanish Steps. One of the better meals we’ve had on this trip. Fresh, local ingredients and not the “standard” pasta-centric menu. Strong wine list and excellent service. Would certainly come back.

30/03/2025: Ho scoperto questo ristorante circa sei anni fa. Da allora è diventato il posto dove tornavo periodicamente perché ho sempre mangiato molto molto bene. Nella seconda settimana di gennaio l’ho scelto per festeggiare il mio compleanno, certa di offrire ai miei ospiti, oltre a un ambiente accogliente, una cucina deliziosa. E così è stato. Purtroppo, questa volta, non posso dire lo stesso. La gricia, che prendevo sempre perché la reputavo una delle migliori a Roma, era davvero insipida. Il sapore del guanciale quasi inesistente. Lo stesso per la scaloppina di pollo con spinaci, davvero banale. Che dire delle melanzane alla parmigiana, anche queste, sempre le stesse come presentazione ma, non nel gusto. Peccato, peccato, peccato davvero. Il recente cambio gestione, mi spiace, ma non ha confermato le aspettative. Spero vivamente che possano tornare a offrire la cucina a cui ci avevano abituato. Allo stato attuale ritengo che non sia equilibrato il rapporto qualità/prezzo ovviamente a scapito della qualità. Mi spiace davvero.

16/04/2025: The crepes are excellent, the ice cream too, standard flavours, without big demands, but the value for money is excellent. The person is helpful and professional, in some cases lacking in experience.

22/09/2024: Ate pizza praised as "amazing pizza" a common banal pizza if anything less than mediocre. Supplì, croquette and chips less than normal, also advertised as "absolute specialties" and finally a hefty bill for eating a simple pizza, 2 supplì, 1 croquette, 1 liter of beer and a water (55 euros robbed).

20/03/2025: Buona sera appena entri lascia un po' a desiderare con un pizzaiolo che non si sa se fumare ho fare le pizze vabè andiamo avanti entriamo ci accomodiamo e facciamo il menù pizza da 22 dove c'è scritto fritti misti c'era un supplì un po' di patate cips e un oliva e due listarelle che di pollo penso che più dure di quelle non le ho mai assaggiate con bevande incluse e in fine gnocchetti di pizza con Nutella ma sul menù c'è scritto pizza con Nutella ho sbaglio penso sia cambiato qualcosa ma non ci torneremo sicuramente ed essendo un ristoratore mi dispiace fare questa recensione ma e meritata credo di non tornarci più grazie per i fritti inzuppati di olio sono stato male tutto il giorno

06/04/2025: Lots of talk... little substance. Filled with chatter from the barker innkeeper, our expectations were high... unfortunately the dishes were rather disappointing, despite the additional sauces served at the time. First of all the fried artichokes, they were in oil and quite acidic. The first courses (tagliatelle with artichokes and mushrooms) were tasteless (17 euros per dish). We expected home cooking with fresh products, but in general it didn't seem like that to us. Secret recipes and delicacies, alas, were not reflected in the dishes. The desserts didn't help, the cantucci seemed old and limp. The cannoli wasn't bad and the sour cherry grappa was good. The selection of wines on offer, the friendly staff and the welcoming venue are certainly positive.

24/02/2025: I've only been to the bar but the Venezia is really one of the best establishments in Ostia, there's everything, and the sand is clear, unlike many others in that area which have black sand.
