12/11/2025: It looks like a perfectly normal bar, but I can assure you that you'll find exceptional tramezzini, something almost impossible to find in Rome these days, even at the more prestigious establishments. The food is also excellent at lunchtime; I've had their first courses a few times, and they're truly excellent, better than many restaurants. The coffee shop is also good. The restrooms are impeccably clean, too.
Friendly and cheerful staff.
Highly recommended.

31/10/2025: Thanks to the bonus from the website (shown in the photo), I decided to treat myself to a nice dinner. It turned out to be just what I needed — warm, hearty, real food. Sometimes evenings like this are the best reminder that joy can be simple and genuine.

08/11/2025: Spectacular supplì in every possible variety. Excellent pizzas and good wine with a reasonable markup. Desserts are above average for most pizzerias. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes. The price is reasonable for the quality and excellent service.

15/11/2025: Food is the reason most people choose a restaurant, and while it's true that we're now more or less aligned with a medium-high quality standard, people choose it for other reasons as well. I personally come to ReTrombone every now and then, but since I have my own restaurant, I don't have time, at least in the summer. I can tell you that having a place where the people serving you are kind, polite, competent, and "absolutely delicious." I didn't mention the owner Alessandro in the review because he doesn't deserve it, 🤣 I'm kidding, all the credit goes to him. Well done guys.

We'll definitely be back!
Excellent heating, even on the veranda!
P.S. The boiled meatballs with pecorino cream were top marks!
08/12/2025: Location: I really liked the place, with its wooden tables and furnishings. It's very warm and rustic, just as you'd expect an osteria to be.
Food: We tried various dishes, from boiled meatballs to puntarelle with anchovies. Some chose the first course, others the second course. The dishes were good and the portions were just right.
Service: It was quick and reasonably friendly.
Price: Very good. For Rome, I expected higher prices, but I was satisfied.

06/12/2025: Restaurant with modern, very good cuisine. Bottles of wine start at around EUR 35 and go up to 230. Nice selection. Excellent food with an average of EUR 60 per person.

Excellent thin pizzas, not burnt. Good, fairly fast service. Prices are average, quite affordable.

28/09/2025: Worth the wait! We went on a Saturday night and had to wait 30 min for a table for 2. The calamari mixto and the Pulpo and were delicious!! The staff (Carmen, Pepe, & Alex) were super friendly!! One of my favorite meals in Gaeta.
