17/01/2025: First I must say that the hospitality of these people was great! We came in on Sunday afternoon when nothing works in Monfalcone and after we got refused from couple of other restaurants (for some reason on Sunday you cannot find food there...). We asked the owner if we could eat there and even they were just about to close at the time he agreed to host us. No any other place bothered to serve us even though we were with a small kid. Pizzas he made were great with fresh ingredients and thin nice crunchy base, delicious and tasty. Unfortunately I took no photos of food, we ate too quick! 😄 Hospitality level: 10+ Service level: 10+ Pizzas: 10+ Cheers and thanks, you saved us that day! 😄

04/01/2025: Very good pizza and the salad is world class too! Price is appropriate for the portions. Extremely nice and courteous staff. Would come back any time. Were in transit and the restaurant was only chosen at random. Can highly recommend “Da Michele”! Top!

03/01/2025: A nice menu, few dishes but all delicious, just as you would expect from a tavern. The environment is informal, you feel at home. Worthy of note is the bread which is the best ever eaten in Friuli

Forse ci siamo un po’ montati la testa. la qualità media dei prodotti non ha giustificato il prezzo corrisposto. da premiare la ricerca di salumi e formaggi regionali e locali, tuttavia serviti in quantità che, in maniera alquanto bonaria, potremmo definire risicata. La lubianska servita Non era fatta in casa e, a vederla, dava l’idea di un prodotto pronto a cuocere. fico nella norma. Eccellenti i biscotti al burro e latte d’asina. Conto finale troppo salato.

05/01/2025: Finalmente un ristorante stellato che guadagnatosi la stella, resta fedele a se stesso, accessibile, senza proporre menu incomprensibili a prezzi folli. Abbiamo scelto la proposta più improntato alla tradizione di cinque portate e ogni portata ci ha pienamente soddisfatti! Persino il sorbetto (all’aceto), servito durante le portate. eccezionale. Servizio cortese e accogliente, presentazione di ogni portata originale, ricercata seppur coerente alla tradizione e alla storia del luogo (nessun ridicolo eccesso). Un encomio speciale, oltre che allo Chef, al sommelier che trasmette una competenza e una sensibilità notevolissime! Riconoscimento Michelin meritatissimo!

07/12/2024: I went for lunch. Dinner with friends. Ate very well. Fabulous location. Paid enough but paid the right amount for the offer. The service amazed me. Never seen anything like it. Excellent is an understatement. Every problem, every obstacle, every inconvenience is solved in the best possible way.

07/12/2024: Splendid rustic-style restaurant with excellent local cuisine, fresh and tasty products. Gnocchi with wild boar sauce are delicious as is the tender and tasty goulash. Very friendly and helpful staff. Average prices, excellent price-quality ratio. I will gladly return.

08/01/2025: four stars because 5 only for perfection! Excellent, very welcoming and warm trattoria, excellent food and a friendly and attentive welcome. There you will find typical recipes from our region (here I discovered that there is a jota variety from Trieste and one from Gorizia). Homemade cooking, good wines and excellent value for money. No, it's the first time I've come and it won't be the last! Goodbye and congratulations again!

24/12/2024: In Gorizia the ice creams are good almost everywhere but if you want to eat something refined and which is not found everywhere you are guaranteed to find it here! If you are not looking for smurfs and various toppings capable of hiding the quality of the product, here the simplicity speaks for the quality of the product. The environment is clean, the staff is trained or in training (always), kind and attentive and the prices are the same as any other ice cream shop. The only downside in my opinion is that if you get used to this type of ice cream, it will be difficult to find peace when you want to eat something of equal quality.

08/10/2024: Found by chance, very pleasant surprise. A warm welcome. Helpful, competent and friendly staff. The amazing cuisine, delicious dishes and tasty fresh fish dishes. Highly recommended. As promised, it will be an obligatory stop during our next holiday in Grado.
