At the recommendation of friends, we came here for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised: fair prices and excellent value. Flavorful local dishes, cooked to perfection. Super friendly and professional staff (special mention for Sara's friendliness). If you're passing through Cormons, this is a must-visit.

The Atmosphere: Rustic and Authentic ​Located among the Cormons vineyards, the atmosphere is typical of a "frasca" or farmhouse restaurant, but refined and very welcoming. It has a large outdoor space (the "Baia"), ideal for sunny days. The atmosphere is informal: you immediately feel at home, welcomed by the very friendly staff who often help while away the time with a glass of local wine and a few slices of freshly sliced ​​cured meat. ​Frico: Pure Tradition ​The Frico here is prepared according to the Carnic/Friulian tradition. Guests describe it as flavorful and with just the right consistency, perfect with polenta. It's that "comforting" dish that's a must-have in any traditional order at this restaurant. ​The Meat: Pork and Grill Specialties ​The name "Porchis" is no coincidence: pork is the undisputed star. Stopped by with my wife, authentic dishes well prepared and plentiful (which doesn't hurt), excellent wine, good and kind owners, prices are really good (for example, 2 starters, 2 main courses, 1 litre of water, a glass of wine) just over €40, but better to book. We'll be back.

My first visit to this restaurant, I was very pleased with the care and attention the staff gives to customers. We were one of six without reservations, but despite being fully booked, the manager found us seats...a full six! The typical Friulian dishes reflect tradition, and the prices are reasonable. Would I return? Of course I will! In fact, I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates Friulian food or wants to try it.
