16/08/2025: I've been in Italy for a week now, and I haven't eaten anything as bad as what I ate at this restaurant! I ordered Angus tagliata, and my postman's shoes are more tender than that; it tasted like a tongue. My wife had monkfish, which was rubbery, and the mashed potatoes were cold. In short, it's shameful to serve such pathetic food! Honestly, avoid this place! Not to mention the wait...

12/08/2025: Beautiful location and fast service

10/01/2026: 1 star because we were fooled. Disappointing dinner. I left with a practically empty stomach, plus a tartare I didn't order (I didn't eat it because it was so tough). In the photo, there's a €45 raw ham that was supposed to consist of 20 pieces with 10 different types of fish (you be the judge). The oysters smelled so bad they weren't even touched. The waiter told us they didn't smell but tasted like seafood. Instead of just taking it away, all this after we asked him to take it away as soon as the dish arrived at the table since it wasn't what was written on the menu. First courses cost 6/7, fried food cost 4, actually less because the order was for fried food with only calamari, but it arrived with vegetables. Nothing. Don't go there.

02/10/2025: Wonderful and quaint restaurant, the food is delicious and fresh. I will definitely be back.

15/02/2026: Group dinner, there were 12 of us, a complete success. Simple atmosphere and well-distributed spaces, the service was very good and the staff was friendly. We enjoyed the pizza by the meter and it was good value for money. Ample parking at a supermarket near the restaurant.

14/02/2026: After ordering we waited for at least 25 minutes, while we were waiting other customers arrived who were served before us even if in larger groups, at the time there were not many people but the service was still slow, then and finally the "pizza" arrived more than pizza it was a burnt cracker with tomato sauce, cheese and other things on top which for around €30 I think is literally a steal considering the quality of the toppings which seemed to be taken from the supermarket the only decent thing about this dinner were the French fries which at least had a good taste and were not too expensive like the rest of the things, like a liter of Coke for €8.50 and then it was difficult to see due to the lack of lighting and when there are a lot of people it becomes literally impossible to talk unless you shout

06/08/2025: I was there a year ago, before they moved. I have fond memories of their piadinas: good dough, well-filled, and quite affordable. And the service was fast despite the people in line before us.

25/07/2025: A typical Romagna kiosk, ideal for a quick lunch if you're at the beach all day. The piadina is truly delicious, artisanal and made to order (not the pre-made kind, mind you), with fresh fillings. There's a bit of a wait for preparation, but it's worth it! Excellent 👍

20/07/2025: Abbiamo preso una cozza alla marinara e all’interno c’erano pezzi di pepe……fastidiosi quando capitavano in bocca….un fritto che non sono nemmeno riuscita a mangiare, unto, senza sapore e senza nemmeno un gambero, grigliata di pesce molto scarsa …. Tanto pubblicizzato ma non ci ritorneremo…

13/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato di sabato sera, affollato ma nemmeno tanto. Abbiamo ordinato 3 spaghetti alle vongole, 1/2 vino 1 acqua 3 dolci. Euro 90,50. Servizio lento, su richiesta. Spaghetti comunque buoni. Non ci torneremo.

14/11/2025: I had lunch there today! Terrible experience. I walked in and found the place completely dirty. The man at the counter was very ignorant. I was getting flies all over my food, it was full of flies inside. Don't go because you eat badly and you eat in a dirty place.

23/08/2025: Friendly and always available staff, comfortable loungers, and large, well-spaced umbrellas! I returned after almost 20 years away, and Ivano recognized me, timeless (and indicative of his attention to customer service)!

28/06/2025: Only for money, no free access to the water. Don't go to Italy unless you plan on paying for sunbeds. We were kicked out as soon as we got to the beach.

14/09/2025: The staff were very helpful and welcoming, as is typical in Romagna. We had vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The price was average. The piadina was very filling.

13/01/2026: Il Pappagallo in Cattolica... A place all in all, not bad, but nothing exceptional... perhaps the only place in Italy where the four-cheese pizza is made with tomato... When I asked the person who brought me the pizza, who was the owner, but did you make the four-cheese pizza with tomato...?!? He just replied, "It's on the menu..." I said, "Sorry, you're right!" After a minute, I had the pizza taken away... After 10 minutes, he came back and said... He sent the pizza back... "If you want, I'll remake the plain pizza..." So I said no, thanks, and didn't eat. I said... I made a mistake, I didn't read it, and I'll pay for everything, as I did, but I don't want to eat at this place... My friends ate... If the owner of the place, seeing my disapproval shortly before, had said RIGHT NOW, if you don't like it I'll make it again white (without responding as he had before), I would have accepted, but he only came after I sent the pizza back, and for this reason, for me there are no excuses and I won't give him a second chance. At the end of a terrible day in which my car broke down in Pesaro and I was forced to stop in Cattolica... I was just hoping for a peaceful evening and instead they ruined it for me... So I don't give this place more than a star. There is no empathy... The desire to want to change the pizza only after I sent it back saying... it's not that I'll be poorer if I make you another one... For me it's one, it's the wrong response that deserves nothing. I know that in the end I didn't eat and I paid anyway... But the satisfaction of eating after the way he had behaved, I didn't give him and I didn't want to give it to him. So, remember when you go to the parrot, read the menu carefully, if you really have to go there... and if you order the four cheese pizza, say right away that you want it plain like they make it in the rest of the world!

12/11/2025: I happened to be in the area for work and had lunch at this restaurant, which is OPEN during the low season. The spaghetti with clams was excellent, and the mussels were plentiful. The price was in line with what I ate and the prices, which are all displayed. The daily specials were excellent, including the meat dishes, which I didn't try, but the diners next to me complimented them, so... The owner was friendly; when I entered early, he was playing cards with a gentleman. The overall feel is authentic. I think I'll be back soon.

04/03/2026: Nice restaurant with prepared food, pasta, salad and meat options for 7-10€ it's fair priced, considering it is only few walking minutes from the Rimini trade centre. Recommended!

21/09/2025: We tried this restaurant for the first time in early June, and despite the somewhat lengthy wait (though we were partly informed), everything went smoothly. Today, confident that we'd enjoy what we found, we decided to try their cuisine again! A total disappointment, starting with the words used; When we asked for a table, we were told that the wait would be very long (on the order of a good hour), so when we decided to go elsewhere, we were told that "maybe they'd be able to serve us in about twenty minutes!" Trusting their words, we accepted and sat down! From that moment on, an endless wait began, even just to take our order: after we sat down at 1:30 PM, the first signs of ordering arrived at 2:00 PM, while we, to avoid causing too much inconvenience, decided to order simple dishes that were all the same (out of 8 plates, 2 of one type and 6 of another)! At 3:20 PM, we were still waiting for our first courses, and in the meantime, the drinks were getting warm! The bottom line was that we got up very disappointed at having been kept in check, relegating us to the table with piadina slices and water. I will definitely not return to this place again, but I will undoubtedly also not recommend it to anyone who wants to try a restaurant on the beach; it would be appropriate instead If you're not dazzled by the three "beachfront" tables, it's better to look elsewhere for faster, more precise, and punctual service! In terms of quality, compared to the first time, I have many reservations about this.

19/02/2026: Small and anonymous environment, although decidedly clean. The description of the sandwich was sketchy and did not correspond to what I received (bacon and cheddar cream not requested and, in my personal taste, not at all appreciated). For the rest, excellent bread, very good meat (you can choose the 100 or 200g burger) and fresh and crunchy vegetables (there are also vegan options). Classic supermarket fries and, in my opinion, undercooked. Water on tap from the menu at 30 cents a glass, paid 50. Price too high given the frankly poor location even if strategic from a tourist perspective. The undoubted excellence of the burger ingredients deserves a different fate. Pizzas by the slice are available at the counter and, upon order, also classic round ones. Postscript after the response: exactly what I wanted, nothing amazing, I love Bellaria in winter and its tranquility and the amazing, on the negative side, was the addition of ingredients not requested, not at all appreciated and not declared during the booking process. Product description. Regarding the water, it clearly said 30 cents (I was charged 50, but I didn't say it was too much, I just reported what happened). Regarding the chips, I confirm the mediocrity of the product (which I would have at least liked to have been cooked properly).

31/12/2025: After spending €28 on two pizzas, it was a real disappointment: the mozzarella tasted like plastic, the dough was too floury, and to top it off, we were sick all night because of those subpar pizzas. If I could give zero stars, I would. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!

26/09/2025: The place is aesthetically pleasing, very charming and quaint. It's a shame the price is decidedly excessive for the quality of the food and wine, which really needs updating. The waitress was courteous and friendly, but she did note that the bill wasn't splittable.

08/09/2025: Picturesque place. Unfortunately, the food was very poor. The prosciutto crudo was sliced ​​too thickly and wasn't fresh at all. The rabbit was completely dry. The tagliata di manzo was full of sinew and wasn't cooked medium, but well-done and dry. The polenta was barely salted. And yet the prices were exorbitant...

21/01/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful seafood restaurant right on the beach in Riccione 🌊 Fresh seafood, very tasty prepared, attentive and fast service. The atmosphere with a sea view makes the evening special. Definitely recommend!

10/01/2026: I dined at this restaurant last week and found the atmosphere truly fabulous and evocative. I must also say that the food and wines were truly sublime, and the service was excellent! I will definitely return with friends. I recommend it to everyone.
