14/12/2025: The atmosphere is refined but not too formal. Perfect service, and both traditional and more innovative dishes are delicious. The slow-cooked meat is excellent. The price is in line with the quality.

10/01/2026: We came to visit Sant'Arcangelo and decided to stop at this trattoria, with an old-fashioned atmosphere, excellent dishes made with simple but reimagined ingredients, and kind and helpful staff.

04/05/2026: Apparetly all restaurants in the town are great, but I can definitely say this was the best Italian restaurant to date for me. Perfect pasta (for all 4 of us), great steak and perfect table wine! I really could not recommend enough, and for 4 of us, it was a reasonable price as well.

25/04/2026: The spartan atmosphere is well-furnished and clean. The service and hospitality are good. The typical local dishes are very good. The tagliolini with blackthorn mushrooms and the porchetta rabbit are especially noteworthy. The zuppa inglese is also delicious. The quality/price ratio is good. Street parking is difficult. Recommended.

13/03/2026: The place is very nice, with high ceilings and a fairly knowledgeable, very friendly staff. The prices? Sky-high! The quantities were negligible. The first course consisted of 14 small ravioli and the rabbit was just one piece. 100, plus wine, 2 first courses, and 2 second courses. I won't be back!

10/11/2025: We stopped at this bar by chance on a Saturday evening, waiting for our kids to go to the Santarcangelo amusement park. It was midnight, and we found it open. The bartender, who was also the owner, was very helpful and knowledgeable. The place is very nice, spacious, and fully equipped. I was truly surprised to find a chilled glass of wine, along with the Amaro del Capo. Well done.

29/03/2026: Average experience. Very crowded but overall welcoming. The waiters were friendly and cheerful. It's a shame the €25 menu was a bit modest. The portions of tagliatelle were small, just two pieces of meat per person, and a few pieces of tart for dessert.

01/04/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times; the food is delicious, varied, and high-quality. The two stars are for the service. Unfortunately, lately I've found the staff to be a bit rude. As soon as we sat down, they gave us barely two minutes to look at the menu. We said we hadn't decided yet, and the waitress responded rudely and returned 30 seconds later. Subsequent interactions were similar, too, and it kept us from enjoying the evening. The dessert menu needs reconsidering.

03/04/2026: We stopped by on our way back from a trip to Puglia. We had a great time and will be back.

03/02/2026: We were supposed to arrive in the morning and our flight was canceled. We asked the hotel owner if we could arrive in the evening, the flight was at night. He said yes. When we arrived, there was heavy fog and it took us a while to find the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, it was completely closed, all this after we told the hotel owner that we were supposed to arrive on a night flight. When we looked for another hotel for the night, there was no hotel available because of an exhibition that was taking place on that date, so we slept in the car in the hotel parking lot like two homeless people. It was lucky that we took a car, if we had arrived by taxi? Were we supposed to freeze in a temperature of minus 3 degrees until morning??? He could have written to us that he was leaving and leaving a key, taken a picture of where the key was, what kind of terrible service!! When we spoke to the owner, he didn't even bother to apologize, offer compensation. We ordered breakfast at the hotel and it was also shocking, there were 2 types of yellow cheese, one hard cheese and another regular cheese and prosciutto and bread. Worst meal I've ever had in a hotel, and I fly a lot. When I asked if there were no eggs, he said he could make them for us. The toilet lid in the room was loose and on our last night it came off completely. It was listed on the booking that there was a kettle in the room to make coffee/tea. There was no kettle and no option to make coffee. First and last time I'm visiting this hotel. I don't recommend anyone to come and stay there. Simply shocking.

25/04/2026: A little gem right at the foot of the steps. Sitting at the outdoor tables and enjoying the view of the heart of the town is an experience not to be missed. Authentic piadina romagnola, thin as per local tradition and filled with the freshest ingredients. I highly recommend the one with squacquerone cheese, caramelized figs, and prosciutto. The atmosphere is magical, perfect for a quick stop before climbing up to the upper town. Fair prices and very friendly staff. A must-see in Santarcangelo!

09/12/2025: Exceptional cassoni. Our favorites are the classics, rosso and rosole. Truly excellent, especially the whole-wheat dough with olive oil. The guys at the counter are always super kind and smiling. Well done!!!

05/12/2025: (I'll start by saying that I'm not a Local Guide, PERIOD!) If a sudden hunger strikes you at 7 pm on a Sunday, and you haven't booked, don't worry, order, and make yourself comfortable, read a book, brûlée, and in a few minutes your wish will be granted. Here, in case you didn't know, they serve "only" fresh, piping hot products. For industrial piadina, go elsewhere. I only want the best, and I find it here.
