08/03/2026: Impeccable, pleasant, a lovely surprise. On the way there, you also discover a glimpse of the delightful village. I have no negative remarks: the setting is delightful, full of reference tools and photos, mementos of the place, the service is precise and punctual, and the menu offers just the right amount of choice for each course. Each dish features local ingredients, revisited with great taste and delicacy. As an appetizer, I had the savory panna cotta with fig jam and crumbled taralli... Superlative. The onion tart was equally good.... For the first course, I couldn't resist the simple and delicious cappelletti in brodo, where in this geographical area each place customizes the broth. Wonderful. I can't really advise you on the desserts; just reading the menu with the precise description gave you a taste of the flavor... so let me know if you'll enjoy them.

18/04/2026: L'angolo dei Tigli is located just outside the historic center of San Giovanni. The restaurant is spacious, with indoor and a couple of outdoor tables. The owner is super kind and welcoming. But the highlight is the piada, one of the best on the Riviera. Highly recommended.

15/03/2026: Besides the piadina, which we've rarely tasted as good, the owners' helpfulness and courtesy are noteworthy; feeding two unfamiliar passersby past closing time is not something everyone can do. Conveniently located off the highway with parking.

08/04/2026: Home cooking, with an unexpected menu full of traditional Romagna dishes, expertly prepared. I chose passatelli in broth, a generous and delicious portion; my companion ordered tripe. We were also tucking into the main course; the others enjoyed mixed grilled meats, vegetables, and potatoes. They didn't hesitate to order dessert: crema catalana and zuppa inglese, both of which were simply mind-blowingly delicious. The atmosphere and staff are welcoming, and there's even plenty of parking. Stop by, except on Tuesdays; you won't regret it!

05/04/2026: We went today for Easter lunch, and it was a delightful discovery. Delicious food, a lovely atmosphere, and 14 of us were welcomed into the outdoor area. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Recommended if you're in the area.

17/03/2026: We had dinner at the restaurant and ordered a chili cheeseburger. The menu indicated that the burger contained a "chili filling," but the ingredients were not specified. When it was served, we discovered that the filling contained beans, an ingredient we hadn't expected. Since the menu didn't clarify this information, we asked for an alternative dish. The staff confirmed that the filling did indeed contain beans and that it was "understandable" that it contained this ingredient, but we honestly believe the menu wasn't clear. We were charged for the first burger, even though we requested an alternative and chose a new option. We expected service that would address the lack of clarity on the menu and allow us to change the dish at no additional cost. I hope the restaurant can revise the descriptions of the dishes to ensure greater transparency and prevent future confusion.

02/03/2026: We ate well, the staff was polite and knowledgeable. The problem was that there were birthday parties and there was a lot of confusion, but this is certainly not the owners' fault, but the parents' who do not teach good manners and also leave them unsupervised...
