28/01/2026: A very nice and well-kept place. The cuisine is very good and well-prepared. Recommended for more intimate and quiet evenings. Excellent selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. I'll gladly return this spring/summer for drinks and food when the outdoor area opens.

02/01/2026: Turned up on a foggy night, both town and the bar half empty. Sat down being ignored for 10 mins, then a rude waitress ask whether we have habe been sat down or just get in. Apparently the table was booked, as well as all the other empty ones, we couldnt possibly stay. And got told off for sitting without asking, in a place that used to be a friendly, polite bar. Sorry dear Galera, this was my last visit. Also please fire that waitress if you at all care for customers.

07/12/2025: We visited this place out of curiosity because it inspired us. Friendly owners, clean environment, good quality food. Definitely worth trying again.

21/02/2026: Family dinner, with panuozzo stuffed with kebab, what can I say, simply amazing, the quality of the product and the service are excellent, the owners are courteous and kind, the atmosphere is family-friendly, not to mention the desserts made by his wife.

17/01/2026: The owner is very friendly and helpful, the porcini and buffalo mozzarella pizza is excellent, and the wait staff is incredibly friendly. We'll definitely be back for the first and second courses. I highly recommend it.

17/02/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant with friends last week and we were impressed in every way. As soon as we entered, the warm and carefully crafted atmosphere made us feel immediately at ease: soft lighting, gentle background music, and a style that blends elegance and comfort. The staff was welcoming, kind, and impeccable, professionally recommending the daily specials and matching wines. As for the food, every course was a pleasant surprise. The ingredients were of the highest quality, fresh, and enhanced by expert cuisine that respects tradition while adding a touch of creativity. We tried both first and second courses, all delicious and beautifully presented. The value for money was excellent considering the excellence of the experience. A special thank you to the staff for their attentive service. We will definitely be back soon! 5 stars well deserved. Highly recommended!

04/11/2025: An hidden gem and oasis in Varenna where to spend a fantastic day by the pool away from the madness of the touristy crowded village streets. We just love it here, you can even swim in the lake since they have a private dock. Food is also good and sunset hour is spectacular.

28/09/2025: View was brilliant, wish the staff attitude matched the wonderful view. Staff not very inviting or considerate towards people who can't speak Italian.

09/12/2025: I've been going to this pizzeria and restaurant for many years. During the winter, they rightly reduce staff, and the longtime waitress serves all the tables. Unfortunately, the last three times I've dined at Pepperoni, we've been treated very rudely, even though I'm always polite and friendly. I'm sorry, but I won't be returning for a long time. I understand the frustration of working with the public, and I understand it's not always easy, but I treat people, especially if they're working, with great care and respect, and I expect the same, even more so if I'm paying for service.

09/03/2026: It's a great place to stay or just pass through. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful, albeit standard. The rooms are clean and equipped with every comfort (perhaps a hairdryer is missing in the bathroom, but they provide one). Parking is very convenient, and it's located in a suburb of the capital with plenty of basic amenities. Overall, I'd recommend it, especially considering the very affordable prices.

08/03/2026: The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the city, yet still in a quiet area. Clean rooms and excellent service. It has parking and is wheelchair-friendly.
