17/09/2025: A few days later, I still can't figure out whether I was in an ice cream shop or a pizzeria. But none of that matters: what really matters is that we ate an excellent wood-fired pizza and, instead of dessert, a delicious artisanal ice cream.

25/07/2025: I'll start by saying that the gnocco fritto was good, as were the cured meats and cheeses, but €15 was definitely not worth it, just like €8 for a coffee affogato with only two scoops of ice cream. It's fine to make fun of tourists, but not Piacenza residents. I definitely won't be back.

03/07/2024: Girovagando ,dopo Prato Barbieri,mi imbatto lungo la strada in questo mini locale-bar con 2 tavoloni esterni( e altri sotto una tettoia). Sosta per 1 birretta in bottiglia e 1 fetta di crostata( un po’ duretta ) e 1 caffe’. Qualche tavolino interno e servizio trattoria. Prezzi modici,atmosfera rilassante.

07/02/2024: Pochi fronzoli ma tanta sostanza. Un ambiente rustico, come di quelli di una volta, con buona cucina locale e altrettanto buon bere. I Piatti sono tipici del territorio, ben fatta la carne. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è favorevole, per cui...consigliato.

04/11/2023: Un posto che ti scalda il cuore ... la semplicità e l'attenzione all'ospite di Ivano e famiglia. Il cibo come quello di una volta... buono ... sincero ... abbondante ma curato. Tortelli, pisarei, tagliolini ai funghi, bortellina e salumi top. La carne grigliata da favola. I dolci semplici ma invitanti. Un vino genuino della casa che non ha nulla da invidiare a quelli più blasonati (provate anche il merlot). E per finire un bargnolino che non avete mai bevuto. Impossibile non ritornarci.

26/08/2025: Lunch for 14 euros. But then you'll need something basic to balance it out. Pasta with ragu; a drowning of poorly cooked farfalle in a puddle of blood with... I think some meat. Grilled meat: one piece was a lump of nerves, the other burned. Sausage is eaten while salt and pepper reign supreme, the frankfurter burnt. Luckily the place had a dog... who ate in my place. Salad with wilted leaves and tomatoes. All served by an agitated woman who doesn't even say hello like the receipt. In short, a disgusting lunch. Congratulations, this way you help the region. Lunch doesn't need to be huge; a little willpower would be enough to do decently. An extra star in the rating in the hope that you'll try to do better rather than thinking this opinion is disingenuous.

31/05/2025: Beautiful agriturismo in a historic farmhouse in Piacenza, it feels like being on the set of the film Novecento. The management and ownership are impeccable, great enthusiasts and breeders of wire-haired Dachshunds with several champions under their belt. Excellent food and portions that after the appetizers are hard to finish. Excellent cured meats. I advise everyone to call before arriving.
