30/05/2025: We came for lunch on a Sunday. We had a great time!
The food is quality: especially the meat, but also the first courses, the gnocco and the tigelle and the cold cuts are excellent;
the service was perfect: the waiters are friendly and very nice;
and the place is a real gem: it is furnished in a truly original way, a bit in pub style.
A great discovery!!!

11/06/2025: Very rustic place. We went for the borlenghi and I must say we liked them a lot.
Also the gnocco and tigelle were not bad.
Very generous portions.
07/06/2025: Typical hillside trattoria, tidy, courteous. Excellent Borlengo, cold cuts and crescentine+tigelle Good workmanship and flavors. Tortellini (small like once upon a time) with cream and decent tortelloni, sufficient tagliatelle ragù. Overall, I would return. Correct bill with lambrusco and water just over 25.

27/05/2025: This year too we came to Guiglia for the borlengo festival, but this time too we preferred to eat comfortably in a restaurant.
La Lanterna assured us a table for two in the second round, after 2 pm, but at 1:45 pm we were already seated.
I'll start by saying that the food was excellent but the service was a bit lacking.
We had two borlenghi, a first course divided in two, Lanterna tortelli, a goulash and a sausage with potatoes.
The lady who took the orders, took them in her head, because the tablet wasn't working, but she got the first course wrong. As soon as we noticed the mistake and pointed it out, they immediately served us what we had asked for and to make up for it they left us the wrong dish, obviously not making us pay for it. A very appreciable gesture.
Then they also forgot to serve the borlenghi... And after a couple of times that we asked for them we were finally able to eat them.
Let's say that the service was a bit so-so but for how they behaved and the constant apologies for the mistakes, in addition to the really good food, we are sure that next year we will definitely return!
20/04/2025: The restaurant has recently changed management and the new owners, Miriam and Gabriele, are a real force! Miriam is a dessert wizard and Gabriele is the perfect host: welcoming, attentive and always with a smile.
The location is very beautiful, well-kept but with a warm and familiar atmosphere that makes you immediately feel at home. Lunch was excellent: special mention for the roast veal with potatoes, very tender and tasty.
In short, a place where you eat well and feel good. Highly recommended!

Agriturismo Nonna Nella

02/06/2025: To celebrate June 2nd we chose to have lunch at the Nonna Nella farmhouse in Monteorsello di Guiglia. Once we arrived, after traveling along a winding road, a location surrounded by greenery awaits us, where a blue sky, a small Rio and an enclosure inhabited by goats, donkeys and chickens act as a backdrop. They make us sit inside, since the patio was full. The room is tidy, clean with a rustic style. The menu is not extensive, but the dishes offered are delicious. Personally, I appreciated the vegetable dish, a side dish of vegetables cooked in different ways and assembled on a tray. The service is fast, attentive and polite. The bill also deserves a good score, judged honest. I give this farmhouse full marks and invite you, if you haven't already done so, to book to taste the delicious proposals of the place.
28/05/2025: A mirage on the path to union. The ricotta tortelli moved us 💕 along with the kindness of the owners!

01/05/2025: There’s only one word to describe this Trattoria – grandioso!
If I lived nearby, it would definitely be my go-to spot.
We had two pasta dishes as primi and shared one secondo – everything was absolutely delicious.

19/05/2025: Excellent trattoria, where you can eat excellent Emilian cuisine, the crescentine are amazing!! The borlenghi are also excellent, impeccable service and kind waiters. Fair prices.
19/05/2025: Unfortunately lunch on the day of the Borlenghi festival but if you book you think you can eat instead a table for eight after an hour and a half we had eaten a total of 8 tigelle some micro fried gnocco that they usually bring as an appetizer for the wait and three Borlenghi conclusion left at 4 ate little and that little was not the best

02/06/2025: I would like to point out that this is not the first time I have eaten at this restaurant where, among other things, the food is very good (because I consider myself a sincerely honest person!).
Having said that, this morning we called to book a table for 8 people and LIKE EVERY TIME I said that I also have a very good dog that is under my son's stroller....
I was told LIKE EVERY TIME I HAVE BEEN THERE that it was no problem!
We arrived and while waiting for the last person to arrive we got food for the two children and to kill the wait tigelle Cold cuts and wine
The girl who was missing from the table arrived and a gentleman, probably the owner, approached me and saw the dog in the stroller and invited me to leave the restaurant!
Dear sir, considering the fact that they were coming from Casalecchio and Calderino... considering the fact that they don't give us free petrol... considering the fact that we warned them of the presence of the dog... I find her behaviour terrible! Oh, I remind you that considering the fact that my brother-in-law still paid you what we had taken.... receipts even if people pay in cash must be ISSUED!!!!! But this is just a detail!
If you had told me that you didn't accept dogs I would have respected your choice and I wouldn't have come... I don't question your choices but the taking the piss bothers me a little!

20/04/2025: Ate for lunch with my family from starters to desserts with a fixed menu, all excellent quality and the food melts in your mouth! We ate in the room where the ceremonies are held. Large table and fast service, friendly staff and a very nice place! The free bar corner is nice! There would also be some music in the background 😋!
26/03/2025: I always happily come back when I'm in the area! The first ones are amazing, very good with quality raw materials.

20/03/2025: La gloriosa cucina modenese declinata secondo la tradizione montanara qui è di casa. Siamo a Samone, suggestivo borgo antico tra Guiglia e Zocca e la trattoria di Teodoro accoglie con la tranquilla cortesia di una volta i suoi ospiti. Il locale è estremamente semplice, stile anni settanta , ma emana un fascino non indifferente, evocante sapori sempre più rari da ritrovare. Si mangia nel complesso bene, le porzioni sono generosissime e il servizio attento e rispettoso. Il conto poi lascia stupiti per gli importi assolutamente modici.

25/04/2025: The Pizza Robot shocked us a little and entertained us a little. Maybe I'm starting to enter the "boomer" phase too. Family dinner (3, parents plus child). When I entered after my wife and son, no one responded to my greeting, I appreciated the boy who works in the pizzeria who, having noticed, turned around and took care of it himself with a big smile. Ordered a giant pizza to share with the child, half tuna, half white scamorza, vegetables and dried tomatoes, half of the tuna arrived, half a margherita base with lots of scamorza and 3 slices of aubergines, 1 slice of pepper, two slices of courgettes. Personally, I would charge two euros more for the giant pizza and I would put more vegetables and less scamorza (but it's a matter of taste). My wife had a pizza with buffalo mozzarella and raw ham. Good pizza. I was surprised by the spicy oil, it's not easy for me to find a good oil with the right level of spiciness. They are generally red. To drink, an inevitable MAD MAMA from the local white-dog brewery, a can of Fanta, a can of Coke, a bottle of water. For desserts we chose from the house ones, two cheesecakes and a crème caramel... I would say that we were not satisfied with the desserts. However, we will definitely return to try the first courses or the meat, the menu is very varied and interesting. Spend €63.

28/04/2025: Ambiente informale, quasi sul greto del fiume. Cibo...ottimo secondo tradizione modenese, primi, ciccia gnocco e crescentine ottime. Pollo alla cacciatora come non lo mangiavo da tanto. Complimenti al cuoco e a tutto lo staff. Ci si ritorna😋😋😋
15/12/2024: Uno delle nostre trattorie preferite. Cibo tradizionale con buonissimorisultato (sono modenese) .Ambiente informale . A volte con le sale piene, puo capitare come ovunque qualche inghippo. Pero’ sono Incomprensibili alcuni commenti negativi sul titolare o il trattamento avuto. Se per loro l essere riveriti e piu importante del cibo , e della semplicita di una trattoria , che vadano in un ristorante accreditato michelin magari a mangiare cucina chimica in porzioni ridicole , ma con ossequi…..
Scrivere tali commenti e’ pura accidia , ignoranza e voglia di usare un potere represso dando giudizi negativi.

07/11/2024: Sempre una garanzia, anche con il cambio di gestione è tutto sempre buono e genuino. Tutti gli anni andiamo a fare una bella escursione ai sassi di rocca Malatino e non può mancare un bel traghetto al nostro chiosco La Quiete in un ambiente caloroso, familiare e veramente spettacolarecon i sassi in bella vista! Al prossimo anno ragazzi!
16/09/2024: Anche se era pieno, hanno trovato posto per noi visto che eravamo a piedi e si era fatta ora di pranzo già da un pò. Menù unico di gnocco, tigelle e piadina con pinzimonio, formaggi, salumi, dolci, caffè e amaro, bevande comprese a € 25 a testa. Si può personalizzare a piacere. Tutto buono, servizio veloce e ragazzi molto attenti e gentili.

Abbiamo speso 50,00 euro a testa, veramente tanto per quel poco che si è mangiato.
Chi un primo, chi un secondo con un misero antipasto che solo quello ci è costato € 20,00!!!!
Tre piccoli piatti di affettato, e 30 tigelline (piccole) in totale e qualche piccolo pezzo di gnocco fritto. Il cibo era buono, ma poco e soprattutto poca scelta. Come secondi c'era solo: pollo, faraona e roast beef. Non è stato di nostro gradimento.

11/05/2025: Sono tornato in questo agriturismo dopo ben 25 anni, come sono arrivato mi sono subito accorto che è cambiata la gestione ed anche l'allestimento del locale, tutto molto curato nel minimo dettaglio, pulitissimo, ed estremamente accogliente e non rumoroso. Il proprietario si è subito presentato e ci ha accolto come se ci conoscesse da sempre, ci ha presentato la sua famiglia, cosa quasi commovente. Andando sul cibo, tutto di altissima qualità, i formaggi da loro prodotti squisiti, i primi eccellenti, merita menzione il ragù di vitello delle tagliatelle, leggero ma saporito bene, gnocco e tigelle ottime, queste ultime leggere senza pasta all'interno come le faceva mia madre, salumi di qualità eccezionale, alcuni da loro autoprodotti. I dessert, fatti in casa dalla moglie del titolare, molto buoni. Una buona carta dei vini. Il prezzo ottimo per il rapporto qualità/prezzo e servizio, gestito a livello famigliare con l'aiuto di un robottino portapiatti. Di nuovo Complimenti siete FANTASTICI!! DA PROVARE ASSOLUTAMENTE!!!
